Caisse enregistreuse.

Le chemin de came 111, grâce an galet.
Cash register. The current. The invention relates to a cash register and relates more particularly to a cash register, the operation of which is triggered by control keys and at least one driving bar.
When a cash register is intended to handle cash sales, cash out and change without sales transactions, as is the case, for example, in so-called self-service stores, it is. desirable that this cash register be operated in a suitable manner, and the object of the present invention is to provide means ensuring the execution of operations (lacis a determined appropriate order.
The invention a. for object a register register intended to register at. both single and multiple items and the total thereof, including devices for enforcing a totaling operation once the recording of a series of multiple items has been started, totalizers, (the keys of control for selecting totalizers and triggering the cash register, and a trigger shaft of the cash register, normally locked.
It is characterized in that the triggering of the cash register by means of a key (the grocery order, in the form of a driving bar, following the depression (the one expenditure control key to start the recording of a series of multiple items, is prevented by a trip shaft locking device, which device is brought to the locking position by depressing the.
expenditure control key for a first recording of a series, and by the fact that said locking device is finally brought to the unlocked position, to allow the recording of a new series of multiple items by means of a release mechanism operated during a totaling operation of the old series of multiple items.
The appended drawing represents, partially and by way of example, a particular embodiment of the cash register which is the subject of the invention.

Fig. 13 represents part of the control device associated with a totalization lever.
The cash register shown has several totalisers, one for each type of transaction, and a multi-item transaction totalizer (also referred to as the brace totalizer). This totalizer is reset to. zero at the end of each operation at. multiple items and after each single item transaction.
In the embodiment shown, all transaction keys are motivated, which means that when any one of these keys is pressed, operation of the cash register is initiated. The cash register represented includes transaction keys for polishing Butchery, Primeur, Tax, De-think and Change;> (fig. 1).
We use. of the usual driving bar when entering values corresponding to grocery sales into the cash register, and it is this word which is written therein.
The cash register has three groups of totalizers, as is. usual in this type of fund. The front group has five totalizers, one for Bou cherie, one for Primeur, one for Tax, one for Expense;> and one for Grocery. The rear totalizer group has only one totalizer which is a group totalizer. for all cash transactions.
The upper group of totalizers carries a single totalizer, which is an item totalizer, reset to zero when the entry of each transaction is complete. The appropriate totalizer is selected in the usual way when pressing any one (the transaction keys.
\ ornialeluent, when the Grocery drive bar is pushed in with a totalizing lever in the Add position, the Grocery totalizer is selected but, when, after the various items of a transaction have been recorded, the totalizing lever is. brought to a Total Accolade position and the motor bar is operated to trigger the cash register, the Grocery totalizer is not selected.
To trigger the. register, ristreuse, it is necessary to release a shaft 70 to allow it key turn in the anti-clockwise direction, as described later, in order to (engage an engine clutch, key type known, and (allow the electric motor to train the cash register.
The members making it possible to trigger the cash register by the depression of the driving bar 105 Grocery store (fig. 1) are described in the following with reference to figg. 2, 3, 9 and 10. The driving bar 105, removable, is mounted on a slider 11.0 supported by (lights \ .; or- jons 111. penetrating into two slots 12 made in the slider 11.0. The studs 111 are fixed. in the \ right side frame.
The 105 Grocery drive bar is held in its normal outward position by a spring 113. The slider 110 is connected to a <B> 1.15 </B> pivoting arm. at 11-1 and articulated to a connecting rod <B> 116 </B> provided with a slot 117 engaged with a stud 118 carried by a lever 119 (fig. 2, 3, 12) which can pivot on a shaft 7.20 itself supported by the side frames. This arm 119 carries, on the other hand, a lug. 121 (figy. 2, 3, 10) which rests in a notch made in a trigger pawl.
122 that a spring 123 maintains. in touch. with the lug. 191.
When the eliduet 12-? is thus maintained in contact with the lug 121, its right end rests directly in front of a flattened stud 124 mounted on an arm 125 which is fixed to the trip shaft. 70.
We. sees from the mechanical chain described above that, if one pushes the driving bar <B> 1.0.5, </B> the lug 121, by means of the arm 115, of the connecting rod 116 and of the arm 119,, raises the pawl.
trigger 12'2 in I feel senest.rorsum and move away its front part (-In flattened pin 124. Therefore, the; or jon 1.2.1 is placed under the right end of the pawl 122, thus retaining the drive bar 105 in its depressed position.
Around the. end of the operation, the shaft 70 re comes back and beyond its rest position, as will be seen. further. Therefore, the stud 12.1 moves away from the pawl 122 and goes beyond the end of a non-repeat pawl 126, while, during. this movement, the spring <B> 113 </B> 3 returns the driving bar 105 to.
its normal position. The pawl (non-repeating 126 is provided to prevent repeated operations in the event that the key 105 should be held down during the full operation of the cash register.
This oliquet is. normally. retained against a shoulder 127 of the arm 119 with a res out 128, but when the key 105 is. inserted, the arm 119 and the shoulder 127 are separated (the non-repeating pawl 126 and the --ou- .ion 124 then prevents this pawl 126 from following the bra, <B> 119. </B>
When the 105 Grocery button is held down during the complete operation, holding. thus the arm 119 in its upper position, towards the end of the operation, when the shaft 70, the arm 125 and the pin 124 are brought back beyond their rest position and beyond the end of the pawl non-repetition 126, the spring <B> 1.28 </B> then swings the latter upwards until it comes into contact with the raised arm 119, thus blocking the body which does not cannot be operated.
For this position of the parts, the end of the non-repeat pawl 126 is in the path of the stud 124 and. the. cash can not. therefore not be triggered even if the drive bar 105 is kept depressed and, for its part, the arm 119 remains raised. When the hand is removed from the drive button 105, the spring 113 returns it with the arm 119 to the normal position and the non-repeating pawl 126 is also returned to its rest position by the arm 119, by through its shoulder 127.
When the trigger pawl 122 swings in the senestrorsum direction (fig. 3 and 10) to bring its right end in front of the flat stud 124 of the arm 125, the trigger shaft 70 swings in the senestrorsum direction thanks to the following mechanism ..
At the right-hand end of the shaft 70, outside the side frame (fig. 9), is fixed an arm 131 carrying a pin 132 which supports two spring hooks 133 arranged on the opposite faces of a connecting rod. 134 provided with slots which allow its movement on the stud 132. Only one of the spring hooks 133 is shown. A torsion spring 135 entou rant the lower ends of these parts 133 is. compressed between the shoulders of the latter and the end of a slot 136 formed in the connecting rod 134. The spring 135 is guided by a finger. <B> 137 </B> which projects upwards into the. slit of the. connecting rod 134.
It can be seen from the foregoing that when the. driving bar 105 Epieerie est. pressed and the ratchet. trigger 122 tilted in the senestrorsum direction, as explained above., the spring 136 is, to. even turning the shaft 70 in the right-hand direction to release the engine clutch.
The rotation of the shaft 70 in the senestorsum direction, from its triggered position to its normal position, is obtained as follows: A main camshaft carries a pinion 141 (fig. 9) in mesh with a wide pinion 142 pivoting on a stud 143 carried by the right side frame. This pinion 112 comprises a cam track 111 in which engages a roller 115 carried by an arm 1.46 pivoting at 117 on the side frames. This arm 116 also carries a stud 118 projecting in a horizontal part from slot to slot. bayonet 1-19 made in the connecting rod 13-1 described above.
When the shaft 70 tilts in the dextrorsum direction thanks to the spring. 135, the stud 132 is moved in the. upper part of the slot 136 of the connecting rod 131. The cam track 111, thanks to a roller. 115, done. swing the arm 116 first in the dextrorsum direction, then in the opposite direction to the normal position. During the first movement, the stud 118 moves the connecting rod 131 downwards, which rotates the arm 131 and the shaft 70 in the senestorsum direction, a little beyond, the. normal position, then slightly in the dextrorsum direction to the. normal position shown in fig. 9.
When the shaft 70 protrudes slightly. its normal position, the stud 121 is. away from the latching pawl 122 and the spring 123 returns the latter to its locking position.
The transaction keys 97 corresponds to a trigger bar 188 (FIG. 11) which pivots on an arm 189 which itself rotates on a lug 190 of a key frame. This bar 188 has cutouts 191 which cooperate with lugs 99 carried by the keys 97 provided, as we have seen, with the inscriptions Bou cherie, Primeur, Taxe, Dépense and Change.
The arm 189 also carries. a stud 192 normally in contact with a rotating arm 193. on the shaft 120 and connected to an arm <B> 195 </B> (fig. 12 and 11) by a bracket 191. The arm 193 is maintained normally, in contact with the stud 192 thanks to. a spring not shown. Arm 195, rotating. also on the shaft 120, is connected by a lug 197 to another arm 198 also pivoting on the shaft 120, as well as a bracket 199 integral with the arm 198 and another arm 200. The arm 119 carries a lug 201 which is. engaged with the arm 200.
It can be seen, from the foregoing, that the forcing of any one of the transaction keys 97 has the effect, thanks to the lug 99, of moving the trigger bar 188 to the left (fig. 11) whereby stud 1.92, through arm 1.93, caliper 191, arm 195, arm 198, caliper <B> 199 </B> and arm 200, rotate arm 119 in the sense senestrorsum (fil-. 2, 3 and.
10 <B>) </B>, so that its stud 121 swings the trigger pawl 122 in the senestror- sum direction to move it away from the stud 12-1 carried by the arm 1 \? 5 of the shaft pin release 70.
Therefore, the latter turns in the dextrorsum direction.
This movement of the arm 1_19 is independent of the driving bar 10.5 Epicei-ie, because this movement is. possible thanks to the slot 1.17 made in the connecting rod 116.
Totcil <I> </I> lever: A total 101 lever is used to control the cash register in total and subtotal operations. This lever 101 is shown in fig. 13 in its. normal position Add (fig. <B> 1) </B>. It has a sound path 151 engaged with a roller 152 carried by a lever 153 which pivots at 151. The opposite arm 155 of the lever 153 comprises a. its end has a notch 156 forming a cam.
A connecting rod <B> 157, </B> also articulated at 151 and. resting on the arm 1.55, has a complementary notch 158 formed on its edge and which cooperates with the notch 156, so as to form with the latter a cam track. A spring. 159. connected to a stud 160 of the arm 155. is also. connected to a lug. 7.61 carried by connecting rod 157 to hold these parts together when lug 161 is in contact with the upper end of arm 155. The purpose of this combination is to provide a flexible cam mechanism which is likely to lend itself to avoiding a blocking of the cash register when one of the rooms is locked at the time. where the lever of total 101 is. removed from its addition position.
A crank pin 165, fixed to a shaft 166, carries a roller 167 engaged in the cam track formed by the two complementary edges 156 and 158 formed in the lever 155 and the connecting rod 157 respectively.
when the lever of total 101 is moved away from its pu-: ition Add in the. Multiple Item Total or Brace Total 1) position, cam track 151 has the effect. to swing the lever 153 in the senestror- sum direction, while the arm 175, with the. connecting rod <B> 157, </B> I have ba @ # euler the crankpin 1.65 and the shaft <B> 166 </B> in the direction of dext.rorsum.
The initial movement of the total lever 101a has the effect, as is known in this tvpe (the cash register, to couple a cam, described later, with the pinion 142 described above, so as to control the return of l 'trip shaft 70 to.
po, itiorr normal in lq) tal and subtotal operations.
It is. this mechanism that is described. in it (it knows. Stud 143 described above l related. 9) and resting. in a notch of the pi @, not 1-12, supports a cam 170 cooperating -: - this a -alet 171 carried by Him cursor 172 including. the lower end is. articulated to a lever 173 pivoting at 147. The left end of lever 173 is connected by a connecting rod <B> 175 </B> to an arm 174 fixed on the shaft 166 mentioned above and which, as we recall, , is moved by the movement of the total lever when the latter is moved away from the addition position.
The 1.70 cam is. crazy climb on stud 143 and is maintained normally. in the. inactive position by the roller. 171. engaged,] without a notch 176 made on the cam. The initial movement of the shaft 166 in the dextrorsal direction, thanks to the parts described, has the effect.
move the roller <B> 171 </B> away from the notch 176 and at the same time move towards the oauehe (fig. 9) a coupling bar 177, it is in a slot of the cam 170, @ -rÎ, ee to studs <B> 178 </B> carried by the slider <B> 1721. </B> These studs are on each side of the lip 1.79 provided on the tie bar 1.77 .
Movement to the left of slider 1.72 is sufficient to move the narrow end 180 of the torque bar 177 into a notch 181 of the pinion 142, (the manner of coupling the latter to the cam 170. which, thus, turns at the same time (reads the pinion, so that the shaft 166 is automatically turned in the dextrorsuni direction. The displacement of the cursor 172 has the effect, thanks to a pin 183 which extends in a slot 184 of the connecting rod 134, to tilt the latter in the direction dextrorsum.pour bring the vertical portion of the.
slot 149 below the stud 1.18 mounted on the return arm 146, so that the trip shaft 70 does not return to its normal position until the second cycle of the operation takes place.
The transaction keys 97 is also associated with an interlocking trigger 210 (FIG. 7) comprising fingers 211. This trigger is. mounted on pivots 212 of which Lin alone is represented and on which it can slide. Normally, as seen. in fig. 7, one of the fingers 211 is located immediately below the lug. 99 of the Change key, while the other fingers. 211 are. separated from the path of the other lugs of the remaining keys in this row. Therefore, the Change button 97 normally cannot be pressed.
In order to remove this finger 211. from under the lug 99 of the Change key, it is necessary to move the total lever 101 away from its Add position.
The trigger 210 is articulated to an arm 215 which pivots on the shaft 166. A bracket 216 connects the arm 215 to an arm 217 with a cam track 218 cooperating with it lug 219 fixed to a lever 220 mounted on a rod 221. The lever 220 also carries a roller 222 which enters a cam track 223 formed in a plate 224 integral with the total lever 101.
When, starting from the Add position, the total lever 101 is moved in one direction or the other, the lever 220 is tilted in the senestorsum direction, thus causing the arm 217 and the arm 21.5 to tilt in the same direction, and the trigger 21.0 is then raised, which moves the interlocking finger 211 away from under the lug 99 of the Change button.
At the same time, all the other interlocking fingers 211 associated with the Tax, Primeur and Butcher keys are moved and come immediately. below the lugs 99 of these keys, so that they cannot be depressed if one is in the process of pressing the. Change button.
The cash register is provided with a well-known differential mechanism for amounts, intended to introduce, into any one of the totalisers previously selected, the amounts entered using the amount keys 91. Such mechanisms are well known. and have. need not be described here.
The transaction keys 97 (fig. 1) is associated with a well-known differential mechanism, comprising a differential arm 29-1 (fig. 4) which can gain its position 9 when the. driving bar Grocery 105 est. depressed, the total 101 lever being in the Add position. The arm 294 can take a position determined by any other pressed transaction key 97, so as to select a determined totalizer and to set up printing mechanisms and. indicator.
The arm 294 is free to go to position 9 because, in the. present cash register, stop. the usual zero expected in the differential row of transactions has been omitted.
Associated with transaction keys 97 and total key lever <B> 101 </B> is a mechanism for forcing the operator to operate the cash register in a certain manner, depending on the type of operation to be performed.
Once the proper amounts and transactions keys have been pressed for cash sales and there is no tax to add, the operator moves the total lever 101 down one step to bring it to the Total Brace position and pushes the Grocery drive bar 105, after which a total of the registered items is printed by the item totalizer, and the registering cash register is then free for further operation.
After any of the above entry operations have started, pressing, for example, the Expense key;> is prevented until the total. articles has been completed.
On the other hand, if one has. need to perform an expense transaction, the operator dials the amount. disbursed, then press the Expense key. By doing this, all the other buttons 97 Butchery, Primeur and Tax are blocked and can no longer be pressed. The Grocery store drive bar, while not being. not blocked at this time and while being able to be pressed, is rendered inoperative and cannot trigger the cash register, this by means of the means described below.
Therefore, after the transaction (the expense has been recorded, it is necessary for the operator to move the total lever 7.01 one step up to the Total Brace position and perform a total of items with the Expense key The cash register will then be returned to its normal position, where another key expense operation or any other expense operation or transaction can be performed.
The mechanism intended to force the operations to be carried out in a certain order is shown more especially in FIGS. 4, 5, 6 and 8. On a pair of arms 361 and 362 pivot a control bar 363 comprising a finger 364 with which the lug 100 can come into contact with the key 97 Expense. The arm 361 carries a lug 365 which engages in a slot made in an arm 366, which pivots freely on the shaft 120.
This arm 366 can cooperate with an arm 367 fixed to the trigger shaft 70 of the register, the parts normally occupying. the position shown in FIG. 5, position in which the movement. dextrorsum key tree 70 est. possible.
The control bar 363 carries two pins 370 on which slides a locking bar 371 comprising fingers 37? cooperating with the lugs 100 (the buttons 9 7 Bou cherie, Primeur, Taxe et Change. A spring 373 normally maintains the locking bar 371 in the position shown in FIG. 5, in which position the fingers 372 do not block the movements of None of the four transaction keys This blocking bar 371 also has a finger 374 cooperating with the lug 100 of the key 97 of the Think.
When this one is. pressed, as seen in fig. 6, the locking bar <B> 371. </B> is moved away from the position of fig. 5 and gains the position of fig. 6, whereby the fingers 372 come to be placed under the buttons 97 Change>, Tax, Primeur and Butchery, thus preventing their depression, while the Expense button is pressed.
Depression of the Expense key releases the cash register for operation, as indicated above, and the shaft 70 then rotates in the dextrorsal direction from its normal position shown in FIG. 5 to the position of fig. 6. At the end of the spend operation, ie after the Spend key has been returned to its normal position, the coins take. the position of fig. 4 and, while the De-think button goes up, a spring. 375 stretched between a button of the. <B> 371 </B> locking bar and lug.
370 of the. control bar 363 forces this to move upwards, since the bar <B> 371 </B> is kept in the displaced position, as described, below, from the position of fig. 6 to that of fig. 4. The ergot. 365 of the arm 361 then moves the arm 366 from position 6 to that of Fig. 4, in which position it is immediately in front of the arm 367. Thus, the The cash register trigger shaft 70 cannot turn in the dextrorsum serLs when pushing in the Grocery bar 705.
During. this expenditure operation, the locking bar 371 is locked in the. position of fig. 4 by the following mechanism: the bar 371 has a lug 380 which is. in touch. with a flange 381 of an arm 382, pivoting. on shaft 166. Arm 382 is. normally, kept in the fie position. 5 by a lug 331 (Fig. 4 and 5) arranged on a lever of the differential arm 294. This lug is in contact with the upper end. 383 of the arm 382, as can be seen in FIG. 5.
As soon as the cash register is triggered, the arm 294 is moved in the dextrorsum direction, which moves the lug 331 away from the arm 382 and the latter is brought from the position of FIG. 5 to that of fig. 4 by the following mechanism. Around the shaft 166 is wound a torsion spring 385, one end of which is attached to a pin of the shaft 166, while the other end is wound around a pin 386 of an arm 387 mounted loosely on. shaft 166. This arm 387 carries another lug 388 which is in contact with one end of a second torsion spring 389, of which. the other end is wrapped around a pin 390 of the arm 382.
We thus realize that as soon as the lug 331 is. moved away from the end 383 of the arm 382, the spring 385 is released and causes the arm 387 to move down and, by means of the lug 388 and the spring 389, causes the arm 382 to tilt in the senestorsum direction of the posi tion of fig. 5 to that of fig. 4, the position in which the flange 381 is. immediately below the lug 380 of the locking bar 371, maintaining the latter in its high position and preventing. thus the depression of any of the keys 97, as long as the arm 382 is. in the.
position of fig. 4.
During a total to operation. two cycles, when the shaft 166 is. automatically tilted further in the dextrorsiun direction, a return arm 391 (fig. 8), wedged on the shaft 166, comes into contact with the pin 386 and causes the arm <B> 387 </B> to tilt to bring it back to its normal position, which, through the lug. 388 and spring 389, swings arm 382 in the dextrorsum direction and returns it to its original position.
So when the differential arm 294 is. brought back in the senestrorsum direction until the. position shown in fig. 5, it again comes into contact with the upper end 383 of the arm 382 and locks the arm 382 in the position shown in FIG. 5, which frees the rim 381 from the lug. 380 carried by the bar 371.
When the bar 371 is released, the spring 373 returns the bar 371 from the position of FIG. 4 and 6 to. her. normal position, shown in fi-. 5. At the same time, the bar 371, due to its contact with the lug 370 of the. control bar 363, returns it to its normal position (fig. 5), and the arm 366 is then moved away from the arm 367, which eliminates any locking of the trip shaft 70.
Since this arm 382 cannot be returned to its normal position (fig. 5) until a total operation has been performed, once a de-think key operation has been triggered, no further transaction type cannot be executed until the operator has made an item total for the expense transaction.
When one of the transaction keys (Butcher, Primeur or Tax) or when the Grocery drive bar has been pressed, if the arm 382 is released as a result of the movement of the differential arm 29.1 in the dextrorsum direction, the flange <B > 381 </B> is brought above the lug 380 of the locking bar 371, which prevents any depression of the Expense key. that the total of the articles was not carried out in order to bring back the arm 382.
After a spending operation, raising the total lever 101 to the Subtotal position does not release the arm 382 nor does it have the effect of being returned to its position. normal by the movement of the shaft 166, because at this time, when the total lever 101 is moved up, it does. tilt an arm 395 in the dextrorsal direction from the position of fig. 4 until an integral arm 396 is immediately found. to the left of a <B> 397 </B> lug fixed to an extension 398 of the arm 382.
During this operation, when the shaft 166 is automatically tilted in the dextrorsum direction, this. n / A. The effect is only to tension the springs 389 and 385. Therefore, none of the Butchers>, Primeur and Tax keys 97 can be pressed and the Grocery bar drive bar 105 has no effect. to trigger the cash register.
This arm 395 pivots on a pivot 399 and bridges a lug 400 which is normally in the position of FIG. 5. As a result of gravity, the arm 395 hangs in the position of fig. :) and a lug s01 normally rests in a notch made in a part 234 in order to prevent the arm 395 from going far in the direction senestroi: suni with respect to the position shown in fi. <B> 5 . </B>
Whenever the arm 3S? East. moved in the sense senestrorsuni, as explained previously, by its ressoris 385 and. 3S9. the lug <B> '97. </B> acting in a slot 40 'made in the arm 395,,' ait.
tilt the arm slightly. in the dextrorsum direction and brings the lug 400 in a position such that it is just above a shoulder -103 of the part 224 carried by the @ r_wi @ = i of total 101.
Therefore, when Fon moves c (- last in the direction of xtrorsuni in fig .:
ï, to bring it to the subtotal position. previously. to the. making a total of items of an Expenditure operation, once such an operation has been coninieneée, the shoulder -103, as a result of its contact. with lug 401, done. slide the arms 395 and 396 upwards in order to place the arm 396 immediately behind the er ,, rot <B> 397 </B> of the arm 398, so that the locking of the transaction keys, while continuing, obliges performing an item total operation in the Expense transaction.
When the arm 38? is returned to its normal position, shown in, FIG. 5, during an article totaling operation, the lug 39 "re-engages in the lower part of the slot 402, as seen in fig.
When the total lever is moved to the second position below the Add position and the. bar 105 is pressed, a total is extracted. of the rear group totalizer which is engaged with the coaches during each addition operation, so that a group or grand total of all cash entries is made.
When the total lever is moved to the 1a position. phis low below the Add and position. as transaction keys: cash are pressed for separate transactions, their totals are carried out in the usual way.
Here is an example of a complete transaction: for a 700-franc grocery item, the user dials 100 on the buttons on the uprights and presses the Grocery bar. Then, for another 7 <B> 5 </B> franc grocery item, after dialing the amount of 75, he pushes the Grocery drive bar.
It is assumed that these items are subject to tax and, therefore, in order to determine their total, the operator moves the total lever one step up from the normal position and. depresses the Spice rie drive bar, which triggers the operation of the registering cause. The usual indicators (not shown) show the total of the two grocery items, that is to say in this particular item 175 francs. Consequently, the operator returns the lever (the total to the Add position, shown in fig. 1, then composes for example 12 francs and presses the Tax key.
It is now assumed that there are other non-taxable items: for example a 65-franc grocery item. The Grocery drive bar is depressed. This bar triggers the. cash register and selects the Grocery store totalizer. We then record for 250 francs of meat by pressing the keys of suitable amounts and the Butchery key, then for 125 francs of early vegetables by pressing the keys of suitable amounts and the. Primeur button.
Once these non-taxable items have. been registered, we bring the total lever to the first position below the Add position, which is the Total Accolade position, then push the Groceries drive bar again to trigger the cash register, including. the operation shows a total of 627 francs. This number was recorded in the item totalizer which is on the top group and, for this particular operation, this totalizer is. empty. Grocery amounts are added up in the.
Grocery totalizer, the tax in the Taxe totalizer, the. meat in the Borieber-ie totalizer and. the Primeurs in the Primeur totalizer. All of these items, including tax, are. added together in a general or group totalizer.
If a disbursement transaction is necessary, the operator dials the appropriate amount with the amount keys, then presses the Expense key. However, pressing this key blocks all the others as long as the total lever has not been brought to the Total Brace position, to make a total of articles of the amount. which has been unboxed either for one item or for several items. This is necessary to release all of the other keys and also to prevent any pressing of the Thimble key during. the introduction of any one of the other addition transactions, which concerns meat sales, ete.
To register a Change transaction, the operator must first lower the Total lever to the Total Acco lade position, then press the Change key to trigger the. cash register.
