Zusatzpatent zum f1 auptpatent Nr. 280184. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Trisazofarbatoffes. 1:

2 Teilen 1,3-Dioxy- benzol in 100 Teilen Wasser zugesetzt.
Additional patent to the f1 main patent no. 280184. Process for the production of a trisazo carbate. 1:
It has been found that a valuable trisazo dye is obtained if 1,3-dioxyberizole is coupled with diazotized 2-amino-1-oxybenzene-4-sulfonic acid, the dye obtained is coppered and the complex copper compound with a diazo compound of the monoazo dye the formula

clutch.
The new dye forms a weakly bronzing, dark powder which dissolves in water and dilute sodium carbonate solution with brown, in dilute sodium hydroxide solution and in concentrated sulfuric acid with a red color. He dyes tree rolls in yellowish brown tones.
The starting material diazo-f) indung of the chloroazo dye of the formula given above can be prepared by adding tetrazotized 4- (4'-aminobenzoylamino) -1-aminobenzene in a molecular ratio of 1: 1 with 2-oxybenzene-1-carboxylic acid clutch.
The coupling of the dianotated 2-amino-1-oxybenzene-4-sulfonic acid with the 1,3-dioxybenzene is advantageously carried out in an alkaline medium. The monoazo dye obtained in this way can be converted into the complex copper compound by the usual methods known per se,
and the coupling of the latter with the diazo compound of the amino nionoazo dye of the formula mentioned at the beginning is usually carried out in an alkaline medium, for example an alkaline medium with sodium carbonate.
Example: 22.7 parts of 2-amino-1.-oxybenzene-4-sulfonic acid are dissolved as the sodium salt in 400 parts of water and mixed with 30 parts by volume of 30 percent hydrochloric acid and a solution of 8.3 Parts of sodium nitrite in 30 parts of water at 10-12 diazotized. This diazo compound is in the presence of 18.8 parts of 30 percent sodium hydroxide solution at 0 to 5 of the solution of 13,
2 parts of 1,3-dioxybenzene in 100 parts of water were added. After stirring for 12 hours, dilute hydrochloric acid is added to the coupling mixture until the Congo acidic reaction is weak and it is warmed to 70. Then 9.5 parts of crystallized sodium acetate and a solution of 210.7 parts of crystallized copper sulfate in 60 parts of water are added. The mixture is kept at 70 for half an hour, 45 parts of sodium chloride are added, the mixture is allowed to cool and the copper-containing monoazo dye is filtered off after stirring for 24 hours.
The product thus obtained is taken up in 350 parts of water and added at 10 to the diazo solution, which is obtained as follows: 22.7 parts of 4- (4'-aminobenzoylamino) -1-aminobenzene are added with 50 volumes of share 30 percent hydrochloric acid dissolved in 400 parts of water.
A clear tetrazo solution is obtained by adding dropwise a solution of 13.8 parts of sodium nitrite in 50 parts of water at 0 to 5. After a solution of 14.5 parts of 1-oxybenzene-2-carboxylic acid and 50 parts of anhydrous sodium carbonate in 400 parts of water has collapsed to give the tetrazo solution, the mixture is stirred at 10 until the diazoazo compound is completely formed. After stirring for 24 hours, the Kurpplgemiseh is heated,
to which the copper-containing 14-tonoazo dye and the diazo compound were combined, to 60, filters off the resulting copper-containing trisazo dye and dries it.
