Additional patent to the main patent no.197589. Process for the production of a new azo dye. It has been found that a new azo dye is obtained if <B> 1 </B> mol of 1-Ph-, nyl- (4'-phenyl-4 "- # amino) -3-methyl-5-pyrazolone is used formula
EMI0001.0009
Moles of phosgene and 1 mole of diazotized 1-amino-3-E;
ulfoben # zol-6 - earbo, nsäur, e can act on one another in such a way that <B> the </B> Mosgen intervenes to form a urea and the diazo compound engages in the pyrazolone core position.
The dye thus obtained forms an orange-yellow powder, the cotton in yellow shades. fäxbt. By treating in substance or on the fiber with copper-releasing agents, the new dye is converted into a very lightfast, coloring copper compound.
The 1-phenyl- (4'-1), henyl-4 "-amino) -3-methyl-5-pyrazolone can be prepared as follows: 22.6 parts finely ground Monoacetylbenzidine is stirred into 50 parts of water and a little ice, and 30 parts of hydrochloric acid are added, and the mixture is added dropwise at <B> d = 1.15 </B> B> 0 </B> to <B> 15 '</B> slowly add a solution of <B> 7 </B> parts of sodium nitrite in about 20 parts of water and stir after the addition of the nitrite is complete l, hour and filtered.
The filtered. Diazo solution is poured into an externally cooled mixture of <B> 100 </B> parts of tin oxide for about <B> 63% </B> and <B> 50 </B> parts of hydrochloric acid <B> d = 1 with thorough stirring , 15 </B> at <B> 0-5 '</B>.
The hydrazine formed is sparingly soluble. The mixture is stirred for a further 12 hours, then washed with dilute hydrochloric acid and then with water.

in <B> 500 </B> parts of water and <B> Wo </B> parts of hydrochloric acid <B> d </B> # <B> 1.15 </B> about <B> 2-3 </ B > Hours 0, e- boils. The chlorohydrate of 4-hydrazino-i'-aminodiphenyl goes into solution.
If necessary, it is tin-plated with hydrogen sulphide, filtered and allowed to cool. A large part of the chlorine source falls out. Further chlorine hydrate can be salted out from the nut liquor or the base can be set free with alkalis.
This, last, - forms. crystallized from alcohol, white crystals of F. <B> 1 </B> <I> 1, </I> which brown in the air.
27 # 2 parts of the hydrochloric acid in the hydrazine are suspended in hot water. X. One condenses with 14 parts of acetate sigester at about <B> 60 '</B> with slow blunting of the acid released during the condensation.
After the condensation has ended, the mixture is left to be obtained, made phenolphthalein-alkaline with Xtzkali, stirred for 12 hours, heated until avenue; dissolved and the 1-plienyl- (4'-phenyl-4 "-amino) -3-methyl-5-pyrazolone precipitates out by neutralization.
To prepare the pyrazolone, the hydrazine produced by the sulfite method can also be used.
The new product is a white powder from <B> F. </B> 194 ', soluble in diluted caustic soda, e and diluted xineral acids.

approximately <B> 500 </B> parts of water, containing <B> 10 </B> parts of sodium hydroxide solution of <B> 36 </B> W and <B> 15 </B> parts of sodium carbonate.
The filtered solution is slowly mixed with the dia2o compound of 221.7 parts of 1-amino-3-, silfobenzene-6-earboilic acid. When the coupling is complete, Pliosgen is introduced into the substance solution until the urea formation has ended.
n el The dye is, if necessary after conversion into the complex copper compound el duno-. as usual, isolated. If the urine is produced before the coupling, <B> So </B> the same end product is obtained]).
