Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Farbstoffes der Triazolreihe. Es wurde gefunden, dass ein Farbstoff der Triazolreihe hergestellt werden kann, wenn man den Farbstoff der Formel

mit oxydierenden Mitteln bis zur Bildung des Triazols behandelt.
Der erhaltene Farbstoff stellt in trockenem Zustande ein gräuliches Pulver dar, das sich in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit bräun licher, in Wasser " mit blaugrüner Farbe löst und Baumwolle aus glaubersalzhaltigem Bade in blaugrünen Tönen färbt, die beim Behan deln mit Kupfersalzen gelber und dabei licht- und waschecht werden.
Zur Durchführung des vorliegenden Ver fahrens können alle oxydierenden Mittel verwendet werden, die die o-Aminoazogrup- pierung zum Triazolriug zu oxydieren ver mögen. Vorzugsweise verwendet man eine ammoniakalische Kupfersalzlösung. Da sich in diesem Falle Kupferkomplexverbindungen des Farbstoffes bilden, so muss hier das erhaltene Produkt in einem weiteren Arbeits gang, der sich an die Oxydation auch un mittelbar anschliessen kann, entkupfert werden. Dies kann in an sich bekannter Weise, z. B.
mittels Mineralsäuren, wie Salzsäure, oder mittels Schwefelwasserstoff oder Schwefel- wasserstoff abgebenden Mitteln, wie Sulfide, insbesondere lösliche Sulfide, geschehen. <I>Beispiel:</I> 5 Teile des Natriumsalzes des Farbstoffes der Formel

werden in 250 Teilen heissem Wasser gelöst und bei 951' mit einer ammoniakalkalischen Kupferlösung, bestehend aus 10 Teilen krist. Kupfersulfat, 40 Teilen Wasser und 26,5 Teilen 24 /o iger Ammoniaklösung versetzt. Man lässt einige Stunden bei 90 - 95 rühren.
Hier auf wird nach Zugabe von 120 Teilen 30 /u iger Salzsäure 6 Stunden gekocht. Nach dem Abfiltrieren und Nachwaschen wird der Farbstoff in üblielier Weise durch Umsetzen mit Sod;.; oder Natronlauge in das Natrium salz übergeführt.
Man kann auch den Farbstoff nach der Oxydation abscheiden und nach Zugabe von Salzsäure entkupfern.
