Description

  

      Zusatzpatent    zum Hauptpatent Nr. 215941.    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     Farbstoffes    der     Triazolreihe.       Es wurde gefunden, dass ein Farbstoff der     Triazolreihe    hergestellt werden kann, wenn  man den     Farbstoff    der Formel

    mit oxydierenden Mitteln bis zur Bildung des       Triazols    behandelt.  



  Der erhaltene     Farbstoff    stellt in trockenem  Zustande ein rötliches Pulver dar, das sich in  konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit blaustichig  roter, in Wasser mit     bräunlichroter    Farbe löst  und Baumwolle aus     glaubersalzhaltigem    Bade  in braunroten Tönen färbt, die beim Behan  deln mit Kupfersalzen licht- und waschecht  werden.  



  Zur Durchführung des vorliegenden Ver  fahrens können alle oxydierenden Mittel ver  wendet werden, die die o-Aminoazogruppie-         rung    zum     Triazolring    zu oxydieren vermögen.  Vorzugsweise verwendet man eine     ammonia-          kalische        Kupfersalzlösung.    Da sich in diesem  Falle     Kupferkomplexverbindungen    des Farb  stoffes bilden, so muss hier das erhaltene Pro  dukt in einem weiteren Arbeitsgang, der sich  an die Oxydation auch unmittelbar anschliessen  kann,     entkupfert        werden.    Dies kann in an  sich bekannter Weise, z.

   B. mittels Mineral  säuren, wie     Salzsäure,    oder mittels Schwefel  wasserstoff oder     Schwefelwasserstoff    abgeben  den     Mitteln,    wie Sulfide, insbesondere     lösliche     Sulfide, geschehen.

             Beispiel:     5 Teile des N     atriumsalzes    des     Farbstoffes    der     Formel

    werden in 250 Teilen heissem Wasser gelöst  und bei 95   mit einer     ammoniakalkalischen     Kupferlösung, bestehend aus     6,3    Teilen     krist.     Kupfersulfat, 25 Teilen Wasser und 18,5 Tei  len 24  ,-'o     iger        Ammoniaklösung    versetzt.

       Man     lässt etwa 6 Stunden bei     90-951        rühren.    Der  ausgefallene     Farbstoff    wird     abfiltriert,    mit  Wasser nachgewaschen und zur     Überführung     in die kupferfreie Verbindung in 100 Teilen  ,Wasser und 30 Teilen 30      'oiger    Salzsäure    6 Stunden gekocht.     Nachl>m        Abfiltrieren          und        Nachwaschen        wird'        ,er        in        üblicher;

  Weise     durch Umsetzen     zeit    Soda oder Natronlauge  in das     Natriumsalz    übergeführt.

Claims

Claim: Process for the preparation of a dye of the -triazole series, characterized in that the dye of the formula EMI0002.0031 treated with oxidizing agents until the triazole is formed.

When dry, the dye obtained is a reddish powder that dissolves in concentrated sulfuric acid with a bluish red color, in water with a brownish red color and dyes cotton made of Glauber salts in a bath in brownish-red shades, which become light and washfast when treated with copper salts.
