Description

  

      Zusatzpatent    zum Hauptpatent Nr. 217235.    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Farbstoffes der     Stilbenr        eihe.       Es wurde gefunden, dass ein neuer Farb  stoff der     Stilbenreihe    hergestellt werden kann,  wenn man den Farbstoff, der durch vorsich  tige Reduktion von 4,4'-Dinitrostilben-2,2'-         disulfonsäure    unter Verknüpfung zweier Mole  küle erhalten wird, mit 1     Mol    des Farbstoffes  der Formel:

    kondensiert.

    Der neue Farbstoff stellt in     trockenem     Zustande ein dunkles Pulver dar, das sich  in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit blauer,  in     _N,#'asser    mit oranger Farbe löst und Baum  wolle aus     glaubersalzhaltigem    Bade in orangen    Tönen färbt, die beim     Behandeln    mit Kupfer  salzen noch etwas röter und sehr gut wasch  echt werden.  



  Der dem Verfahren als     Ausgangsstoff     dienende     Stilbenfarbstoff    ist als ein Gemisch  der Produkte der Formeln

    aufzufassen.  Die Kondensation kann beispielsweise  durch Erhitzen der Komponenten in alkali  schem, vorzugsweise     ätzalkalischem    Medium,  offen oder unter Druck, durchgeführt werden.

    <I>Beispiel:</I>  6 Teile des     Farbstoffes,    der erhalten wird,  wenn man 45 Teile     4,4'-dinitrostilben-2,2'-          disulfonsaures    Natrium mit 7 Teilen Trauben  zucker und 60 Teilen 30      /oiger    Natronlauge,  in etwa 400 Teilen Wasser gelöst, bei 70  bis<B>80'</B> reduziert und den Farbstoff in be  kannter Weise durch Neutralisieren und Zu  gabe von     Natriumehlorid    abscheidet, und  5,6 Teile des     Natriumsalzes    des Farbstoffes  aus     diazotierter    4-Amino-4'-oxy-1,1'-azobenzol-         3'-carbonsäure    und     1-(3'-Amino-5'-carboxy-4'-          oxyphenyl)

  -3-methyl-.5-pyrazolon        (sodaalkali-          scheKupplung)    werden in 100 Teilen heissem  Wasser gelöst und nach Zugabe von 16 Tei  len 30      %oiger    Natronlauge 20 Stunden unter       Rückflusskühlung"'gekocht.    Man lässt erkalten  filtriert den ausgeschiedenen     Farbstoff    ab und  löst ihn aus verdünnter Natronlauge um.

Claims

PATENT CLAIM: A process for the production of a dye of the stilbene series, characterized in that one mole of the dye which is obtained by careful reduction of 4,4'-dinitro-stilbene-2,2'-disulfonic acid by linking two molecules and which is a mixture of the following compounds: EMI0002.0025 with 1 mole of the dye of the formula: EMI0002.0028 condensed.
