Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Kondensationsproduktes.    Es wurde gefunden, dass man zu. einem  neuen Kondensationsprodukt gelangt, wenn  man     2-Oxy-5-chlormethyl-benzoesäure    in  Gegenwart     eines    Lösungsmittels mit     Thio-          harnstoff    umsetzt.  



  Als Lösungsmittel verwendet man zweck  mässig     Aceton.     



  Das neue Kondensationsprodukt ist eine       hallbfeste    Masse, die in Wasser leicht löslich  ist. Es kann als     Textilhilfsstoff    verwendet  werden.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  Die aus 27,5     Gew.Teilen        Sa;licylsäure     in     bekannter    Weise erhältliche     2-Oxy-5-chlor-          methyl-benzoesäure        wird    in 100     Vol.-Teilen     Aceton gelöst, worauf unter Rühren bei     ge-          wöhmli        cher        Temperatur    17     Gew.-Teile    fein  pulverisierter     Thioharnstoff    anteilweise zu-    gegeben werden.

   Nach     einstündigem    Rühren  wird das     Aceton    unter schwachem Erwär  men im Vakuum     abdestilliert.    Das Konden  sationsprodukt bleibt als     halbfeste    Masse zu  rück, die in Wasser leicht löslich ist.

   After stirring for one hour, the acetone is distilled off in vacuo with gentle warming. The condensation product remains as a semi-solid mass that is easily soluble in water.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Kondensationsproduktes, dadurch gekenn zeichnet, dass man 2-Oxy-S-chlormethyl- benzoesäure in Gegenwart eines Lösungs mittels mit Thioharnstoff umsetzt. Das neue Kondensationsprodukt ist eine halbfeste Masse, die in Wasser leicht löslich ist. Es kann als Textilhilfsstoff verwendet werden.
