Abstract

dispositivo de purgação descartável e método para conectar cânulas a um dispositivo de suporte circulatório cardíaco. a presente invenção refere-se a aparelho e método para conectar um tubo médico ou qualquer outro tipo de conduto de circuito fluídico (por exemplo, cânulas (712, 714, 1700, 1720)) a um dispositivo de auxílio ventricular ("vad") (602, 702, 1000) ou qualquer outro dispositivo de bombeamento utilizado para bombear sangue durante o suporte circulatório cardíaco para cirurgia vascular. o aparelho e o método impedem a entrada de bolhas de ar no sistema de suporte circulatório cardíaco, quando da conexão de cânulas (712, 714, 1700, 1720) a um vad (602, 702, 1000), cujas bolhas podem entrar subsequentemente na corrente sanguínea de um paciente durante a cirurgia cardíaca, bem como proveem a purgação de quaisquer bolhas de ar que possam ter entrado no sistema de suporte circulatório cardíaco durante a conexão de uma cânula-vad.
