Abstract

COMPOSIçãO PARA ALIMENTO ANIMAL. A presente invenção se refere a uma nova composição alimentícia para animais, por exemplo aves domésticas, compreendendo como ingrediente ativo ácido benzóico, derivados ou metabólitos do mesmo, em combinação com uma mistura de pelo menos dois compostos ativos selecionados do grupo consistindo em timol, eugenol e piperina. Os inventores verificaram que além da função bem conhecida do ácido benzóico, esse composto pode ser empregado como um promotor do crescimento em potencial quando for combinado com uma mistura de pelo menos dois compostos ativos selecionados do grupo consistindo em timol, eugenol e piperina. Especificamente, os inventores foram capazes de demonstrar que uma mistura desses compostos químicos presente em diferentes partes de plantas, usada em sinergia e em combinação com uma quantidade apropriada de ácido benzóico, exibe, de modo totalmente inesperado, os efeitos buscados pela presente invenção no aperfeiçoamento da capacidade de digestão dos alimentos pelas aves domésticas, isto é, aperfeiçoando a taxa de conversão de alimento e/ou ganho de peso diário do animal.
