Abstract

SìNTESE BIOQUìMICA DE 1,4-BUTANODIAMINA. A invenção é relacionada a um processo de síntese bioquímica de 1,4-butanodiamina em um microrganismo que apresenta um elevado nível de atividade de ornitina decarboxilase (atividade ODC aumentada) quando comparada aos níveis nativos de atividade ornitina decarboxilase, onde a atividade aumentada de ODC é obtida através da super expressão de um gene codificante para ornitina decarboxilase com eficiência de transcrição e/ou tradução aumentadas e onde a 1,4-butanodiamina produzida no microrganismo é excretada num caldo de fermentação, e é envolto do mesmo. Em incorporações preferidas também um aumento na atividade enzimática é obtida pela super expressão de tanto (i) um gene speA codificante para arginina decarboxilase e um gene speB codificante para agmatinase; ou (ii)um gene speA codificante para arginina decarboxilase e um gene águA codificante para agmatina iminohidrolase, e um gene aguB codificante para N-carbamilputrescina amidohidrolase, e opcionalmente também um gene speB codificante para agmatinase. A invenção também se relaciona aos vetores, plasmídeos e hospedeiros que carreiam, níveis de atividade aumentados de um ou mais atividades enzimáticas mencionadas.
