Abstract
"MéTODO E APARELHO PARA PRODUZIR FERRO METáLICO". Um método para produzir ferro metálico que compreende aquecer um pó misturado de um pó contendo óxido de ferro e um pó contendo agente redutor carbonáceo em um estado sendo depositado em um cadinho deste modo conduzindo redução e fusão. Ferro reduzido com quantidade extremamente baixa de intrusão de ingredientes de escória e uma alta pureza de Fe podem ser obtidos mesmo usando uma fonte de óxido de ferro de qualidade de ferro bruto. Nenhuma moldagem preliminar do pó de material inicial em grumos ou pellets é requerida.
