Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>''EMPREGO DE AGENTES DE CONTRASTE INTRAVENOSOS PARA A MAMOGRAFIA DE PROJEçãO''<D>. A invenção refere-se ao emprego de agentes de contraste intravenosos para a mamografia de projeção bem como novos dispositivos para a mamografia de projeção. A invenção refere-se, por conseguinte, ao emprego de agentes de contraste intravenosos para a preparação de um agente diagnóstico para a mamografia de projeção. Pela administração de agente de contraste intravenoso adicional a mamografia de projeção alcança uma sensibilidade comparável com os mais modernos processos tais como da tomografia de ressonância magnética (MRT) com capacidade de aplicação nitidamente mais vasta e evitando os custos da MRT. O novo processo é simples e efetuado sem incómodo das pacientes e fornece um aperfeiçoamento essencial a) da sensitividade para a comprovação de lesões focais na mama e b) informações adicionais sobre o caráter das lesões reconhecidas anteriormente.
