Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B>"DISPOSITIVOS PARA A MAMOGRAFIA DE PROJEçãO''<D>. A invenção refere-se ao emprego de agentes de contraste intravenosos para a mamografia de projeção, bem como a novos dispositivos para a mamografia de projeção. A invenção refere-se, por conseguinte, ao emprego de agentes de contraste intravenosos para a preparação de um agente diagnóstico para a mamografia de projeção. Pela administração intravenosa adicional dos agentes de contraste a mamografia de projeção alcança uma sensibilidade comparável com os mais modernos processos, tais como da tomografia de ressonância magnética (TRM) com capacidade de aplicação nitidamente mais vasta e evitando os custos da TRM. O novo procsso é efetuado simples e sem incómodo particular para as pacientes e fornece um aperfeiçoamento essencial a) da sensitividade para a comprovação de lesões focais na mama e b) informações adicionais sobre o caráter das lesões reconhecidas anteriormente.
