Abstract

Patente de Invenção: "<B>"AGENTES DE BRANQUEAMENTO FLUORESCENTES"<D>. A presente invenção proporciona novos compostos tendo a fórmula: na qual X é O ou, preferivelmente, NH; M é hidrogênio, um átomo de metal alcalino, amónio ou um cátion formado a partir de uma amina; cada R~ 1~, independentemente, é um resíduo de aminoácido a partir do qual um átomo de hidrogênio sobre o grupo amino foi removido; n é 1 ou 2; e cada R~ 2~, independentemente, é hidrogênio, C~ 1~-C~ 3~ alquila, halogênio, ciano, COOR, em que R é hidrogênio ou C~ 1~-C~ 3~ alquila, CONH-R, em que R tem seu significado anterior, SO~ 2~NH-R, em que R tem seu significado anterior, NH-COR, em que R tem seu significado anterior, SO~ 3~M, em que M tem seu significado anterior ou, quando n for 1, R~ 2~ pode também ser CO-R~ 3~, em que R~ 3~ é C~ 1~-C~ 3~ alquila ou fenila; desde que esses compostos sejam excluídos, nos quais a) X é NH, n é 1 e R~ 2~ é SO~ 3~M, em que M tem seu significado anterior; ou b) X é NH, n é 2 e um R~ 2~ é SO~ 3~M, em que M tem seu significado anterior, e o outro R~ 2~ é hidrogênio, metila ou halogênio; ou c) X é NH, n é 1, R~ 1~ é glicina e R~ 2~ é H ou CO~ 2~H; ou d) X é NH, n é 2, cada R~ 2~ é SO~ 3~M, em que M tem seu significado anterior e os grupos SO~ 3~M estão nas posições 2,5 no anel de fenila e R~ 1~ é D, L-alanina, L-valina, L-leucina, L-isoleucina, L-treonina, ácido L-aspártico, ácido L-glutâmico, L-fenilalanina, L-prolina, D, L-metionina ou glicina. A maior parte da nova classe de compostos de ácido 4,4'-diaminoestibeno-2,2'-dissulfónico é útil como agentes de branqueamento fluorescentes, especialmente para o papel.
