veículo a constante elástica de cada uma de quatro molas de suspensão e a carga compartilhada sobre cada uma de quatro rodas são ajustadas para que a frequência de ressonância elástica (ômega) fr correspondente às duas rodas dianteiras 12fr e 12fl e a frequência de ressonância elástica (ômega)rr correspondente às duas rodas traseiras 12rr e 12rl difiram uma da outra. de quatro amortecedores 32, só dois amortecedores 32rr e 32rl, que são dispostos em associação às duas rodas com menor frequência de ressonância elástica dentre as duas rodas dianteiras 12fr e 12fl e as duas rodas traseiras 12rr e 12rl, possuem, respectivamente, mecanismos de modificação do coeficiente de amortecimento, os quais modificam o coeficiente de amortecimento que serve como referência para a grandeza da força de amortecimento gerada pelos dois amortecedores. o comportamento do corpo do veículo como um todo pode ser efetivamente contido controlando-se a força de amortecimento exercida sobre o movimento comparativamente grande das seções elásticas correspondentes às duas rodas 12rr e 12rl. sendo assim, um veículo com melhor estabilidade de direção e melhor qualidade de percurso pode ser configurado de uma maneira comparativamente econômica.
