Abstract

COMPOSTO DE MAGNÉSIO E PROCESSO PARA PREPARAR O COMPOSTO DE MAGNÉSIO. Composto de magnésio esférico compreende um produto de reação de pelo menos os seguintes componentes: (a) um haleto de magnésio representado pela fórmula geral MgX2-nRn, na qual X é, independentemente, cloreto ou brometo, R é um grupo alquila de C1-C14, arila de C6-C14, alcoxi de C1-C14, ou ariloxi de C6-C14, e n é 0 ou 1; (b) um álcool; e (c) um epóxi representado pela fórmula geral na qual R2 e R3 são, independentemente, hidrogênio, um grupo alquila linear ou ramificado de C1-C5, ou um grupo haloalquila linear ou ramificado de C1-C5. O composto de magnésio tem curva de DSC e configuração de difração de raios-X características, e pode ser usado como transportador para catalisador de polimerização olefínica com estereorregularidade de polímero tendo elevado índice de fusão, e baixo teor de finos de polímero.
