Abstract
"RECONHECIMENTO DE OBJETO ESCONDIDO". A presente invenção refere-se a um método para a visualização de um primeiro objeto que está obstruído por um segundo objeto. Em um método como esse, o primeiro objeto tem uma cor contrastante com o segundo objeto, e o segundo objeto é construído de um material que permite que a luz visível passe através dele. A quantidade de luz visível que passa através do segundo objeto não é suficiente para que o primeiro objeto seja visível para o olho humano. O método envolve tomar uma imagem digital do primeiro e do segundo objetos usando-se um sensor de luz visível, tal como um sensor de câmera de CCD. Os dados de imagem digital que são recebidos em um sistema de computador contêm ambos dados de primeiro objeto e dados de segundo objeto. Deve ser compreendido que os dados de primeiro objeto e os dados de segundo objeto incluem informação de cor. A quantidade de contraste entre o primeiro e o segundo objetos deve ser de aproximadamente 10% da escala total, de modo que em uma escala de 256 cores, a diferença seja de aproximadamente 25 níveis. O sistema de computador substancialmente filtra os dados de segundo objeto e, então, os valores associados aos dados de primeiro objeto são aumentados até os dados poderem ser visivelmente exibidos.
