Abstract

"DISPOSITIVO DE ATIVAçãO PARA DISPOSITIVO DE PROTEçãO DE OCUPANTE E MéTODO DE CONTROLE PARA O MESMO". O dispositivo de ativação (20) para um dispositivo de proteção de ocupante inclui um primeiro dispositivo de detecção de desaceleração (22) para detectar uma primeira desaceleração G na direção dianteira/traseira do veículo e um dispositivo de avaliação de ativação (37) para avaliar se a ativação do dispositivo de proteção de ocupante é necessária ou não comparando a primeira desaceleração G detectada pelo primeiro dispositivo de detecção de desaceleração (22) com um primeiro valor limite. O dispositivo ainda inclui um segundo dispositivo de detecção de desaceleração (24, 26) para detectar uma desaceleração LG, RG em uma posição no lado mais dianteiro do veículo que a posição que detecta a primeira desaceleração, um dispositivo de detecção de condição de colisão (35) para detectar uma condição de colisão de veículo baseada em um segundo valor limite pela desaceleração LG e RG e um primeiro dispositivo de mudança de limite (36) para mudar o primeiro valor limite de um dispositivo de avaliação de ativação (37) baseado no resultado detectado do dispositivo de detecção de condição de colisão (35).
