Abstract
<B>REATOR PARA OXIDAçãO CATALìTICA DE FASE GASOSA<D> A distribuição de temperatura do meio de aquecimento no reator é permitida e a ocorrência de pontos quentes é reprimida. Em um reator do tipo carcaça e tubos provido com chicanas do tipo toroidal e de disco, os tubos de reação são dispostos nos orifícios formados pelas chicanas do tipo toroidal e um espaço vazio isento de uma configuração de tubos de reação é formado no centro da carcaça. De acordo com esta invenção, ácido (met) acrílico e/ou (met) acroleína pode ser produzida em baixa energia por oxidação catalítica de fase gasosa de gás contendo propileno ou isobutileno.
