Abstract
<B>SISTEMA DE MULTIPLEXAçãO POR DIVISãO DE COMPRIMENTO DE ONDA<D> Uma rede de fibra óptica de alta capacidade {100, 200} inclui multiplexação por divisão de comprimento de onda (WDM) dentro da região de comprimento de onda de 1,4 mícron (<109>m) (isto é, 1.335-1.435 nm). Tal sistema inclui a fibra óptica [130], cuja perda máxima na região de 1,4 <109>m é menor do que a sua perda a 1.310 nm.
