Abstract

Le nouvel antibiotique antitumoral depsipeptiodique cyclique sandramycine (I) est produit par fermentation d'un nouveau micro-organisme, à savoir Nocardioides sp. souche C 49.009,ATCC 39419. La sandramycine a une activité antibactérienne et inhibe la croissance de certaines tumeurs chez les animaux d'expérience. Le nouvel antibiotique se prete aux applications thérapeutiques par administration suivant les voies habituelles.
