Abstract

Un método para facilitar la producción del Virus del Síndrome Reproductor y Respiratorio Porcino (PRRSV) a partir de un cultivo de células de vertebrados que comprende los pasos de: (a) proveer una célula recombinante de vertebrados transfectada con un polinucleótido exógeno que codifica un polipéptido que tiene un dominio de transmembrana y al menos 85% de identidad de secuencia con la SEQ ID Nº 2, tal que la expresión del polipéptido en dicha célula se incrementa; (b) poner en contacto un cultivo de dicha célula con virus PRRSV bajo condiciones que permiten la infección de las células y el crecimiento del virus; y (c) recuperar el virus de dicho cultivo.
