Abstract
Materiales para el almacenamiento de oxidos de nitrogeno y métodos para fabricar materiales para el almacenamiento de oxidos de nitrogeno. Los materiales para el almacenamiento de oxidos de nitrogeno se pueden utilizar para fabricar trampas catalíticas dispuestas en un conducto de escape de un motor de combustion interna que se hace operar periodicamente entre condiciones pobre y estequiométrica o rica, para la reduccion de NOx en una corriente de gases de escape que es generada por el motor. En una forma de realizacion, el material para almacenamiento de oxidos de nitrogeno comprende material alcalino térreo soportado sobre partículas de ceria con cristales con un tamano de entre aproximadamente 10 y 20 nm y donde el tamano de los cristales del oxido de alcalino térreo es de entre aproximadamente 20-40 nm.
