Abstract

Procedimiento de funcionamiento de un motor diesel o de un motor que funciona en mezcla pobre equipado con un sistema de escape en el cual va montado un filtro de partículas, caracterizado por que se alimenta el motor con un carburante que comprende un aditivo capaz de bajar la temperatura de combustión de las partículas de hollines retenidas por el filtro de partículas y constituido esencialmente por un compuesto de hierro o esencialmente por un compuesto de hierro y un compuesto de cerio, estando este aditivo en forma de una dispersión coloidal orgánica en la cual el compuesto de hierro o el compuesto de cerio es un óxido, un hidróxido o un oxihidróxido de hierro o de cerio, y por que se utiliza como filtro de partículas, a través del cual se hacen pasar los gases de escape producidos por la combustión del carburante en el motor, un filtro catalizado cuyo catalizador consiste en un catalizador de ayuda a la combustión de las partículas de hollines.
