Abstract

Un proceso para fabricar una espuma flexible mediante la reacción de un prepolímero que posee un valor de NCO de 3-15% por peso, que es el productode reacción obtenido mediante la reacción de una cantidad excesiva de un poliisocianato conun poliol de poliéter o una mezcla de tales polioles, dichopoliol o mezcla posee una funcionalidad nominal promedio de hidróxilo de desde 2 a 6, un peso equivalente de hidróxilo promedio de desde 500 a 5000 y uncontenido de oxietileno de por lo menos 50% por peso, con agua, siendo la cantidad de agua de 15-500 partes por peso por 100 partes por peso deprepolímero, en el inicio de la reacción la temperatura del prepolímero es de 10-50°C y la temperatura del agua es de 10-50°C mayor que la temperatura delprepolímero y un proceso para preparar una espuma flexible mediante la reacción del prepolímero antes mencionado con agua en la presencia de un polímerosuperabsorbente.
