Abstract
クロロプレン重合体と、ロジン酸、ロジン酸ナトリウム及びロジン酸カリウムからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種と、水酸化ナトリウム及び水酸化カリウムからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種と、を含み、前記クロロプレン重合体のトルエン不溶分が10質量%以下であり、トルエン可溶分の重量平均分子量が5,000~200,000である、クロロプレン重合体ラテックス。
Description
本発明は、クロロプレン重合体ラテックス及びその製造方法、並びに、浸漬成形体に関する。本発明の一態様は、クロロプレンと2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンとの共重合体を含むクロロプレン重合体ラテックス及びその製造方法、並びに、当該クロロプレン重合体ラテックスを用いた浸漬成形体に関する。
クロロプレン重合体は、医療用手術手袋、検査手袋、工業用手袋、風船、カテーテル、ゴム長靴等の浸漬成形製品の材料として知られている。
クロロプレン重合体の柔軟性改良又は浸漬成形製品用のクロロプレン重合体に関する技術は種々提案されている。下記特許文献1には、防振ゴム用途に向け、数平均分子量500~50,000の範囲の低分子量クロロプレン重合体を混合させることで、減衰性能が向上することが記載されている。下記特許文献2には、浸漬成形製品用途に向け、クロロプレンとメタクリル酸を共重合させて得られる変性ポリクロロプレン100質量部と、水90~150質量部と、乳化剤1~5質量部と、カリウムイオン0.5~2.5質量部を含有する、pH7~14のポリクロロプレンラテックスが記載されている。下記特許文献3には、浸漬成形製品用途に向け、クロロプレンと2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンとを共重合させ、ポリクロロプレンの13C-固体NMRスペクトルにおいて、126.2~127.6ppmのピーク面積(A)、122.0~126.2ppmのピーク面積(B)、129.9~130.3ppmのピーク面積(C)が下記一般式(I)で示される範囲であるメルカプタン変性ポリクロロプレンラテックスが記載されている。下記特許文献4には、浸漬成形製品用途に向け、高分子量体と低分子量体を含むことにより、浸漬成形により作製された加硫ゴムにおいて優れた柔軟性と力学物性を両立できるクロロプレン重合体ラテックスが記載されている。
浸漬成形製品としてクロロプレン重合体浸漬成形被膜は、硫黄、加硫促進剤等の架橋剤を添加することで一般的に機械的強度に優れており、クロロプレン重合体ラテックスは、手袋、風船、長靴、カテーテル等の浸漬成形被膜におけるゴムラテックス原料として用いられてきた。一方で、天然ゴム又はポリイソプレンを用いて得られる浸漬成形被膜と同様に高い柔軟性が求められる傾向があり、特に手袋用途においては、装着感又は被膜の風合いに直結する柔軟性に関する物性を改善したクロロプレン重合体ラテックスが望まれている。
そこで、本発明は、ベースポリマーがクロロプレン重合体であるクロロプレン重合体ラテックスと混合することで、優れた柔軟性を有するクロロプレン重合体浸漬成形被膜を得ることが可能なクロロプレン重合体ラテックスを提供することを主目的とする。
すなわち、本発明は、クロロプレン重合体と、ロジン酸、ロジン酸ナトリウム及びロジン酸カリウムからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種と、水酸化ナトリウム及び水酸化カリウムからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種と、を含み、前記クロロプレン重合体のトルエン不溶分が10質量%以下であり、トルエン可溶分の重量平均分子量が5,000~200,000である、クロロプレン重合体ラテックスに関する。
このようなクロロプレン重合体ラテックスは、当該クロロプレン重合体ラテックス20質量部と、クロロプレン及び2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンの合計100質量%に対して2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンが5~30質量%共重合されているベースポリマーを含有し、且つ、トルエン不溶分が75質量%以上であるクロロプレン重合体ラテックス80質量部と、を混合することにより得られる混合ラテックス組成物を130℃で4時間加硫することにより得られる浸漬成形被膜が、JIS K 6251に準拠して測定したときに、100%伸長時モジュラス0.40~0.70MPa、及び、破断強度17MPa以上を与える、クロロプレン重合体ラテックスであってよい。
また、本発明は、上記クロロプレン重合体ラテックスを用いた、浸漬成形体に関する。このような浸漬成形体は、手袋、風船、カテーテル又は長靴であってもよい。
また、本発明は、上記クロロプレン重合体ラテックスを得るための製造方法であって、連鎖移動剤の存在下で、クロロプレン及び2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種を重合温度5~55℃、重合転化率50~95%で乳化重合する重合工程を含み、前記重合工程において、前記クロロプレン及び前記2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンの合計100質量部に対して、前記連鎖移動剤の配合量が0.50質量部以上15質量部未満であり、前記2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンの配合量が50質量部以下である、クロロプレン重合体ラテックスの製造方法に関する。
本発明によれば、ベースポリマーがクロロプレン重合体であるクロロプレン重合体ラテックスと混合することで、優れた柔軟性を有するクロロプレン重合体浸漬成形被膜を得ることが可能なクロロプレン重合体ラテックスを提供することができる。このようなクロロプレン重合体ラテックスでは、トルエン可溶分の重量平均分子量が比較的低分子量の200,000以下であること等により、低分子量ポリマーの可塑効果によって非常に優れた柔軟性を得ることができる。
以下、本発明を実施するための形態について詳細に説明する。なお、本発明は、以下に説明する実施形態に限定されるものではない。
本明細書において、数値範囲の「A以上」とは、A、及び、Aを超える範囲を意味する。数値範囲の「A以下」とは、A、及び、A未満の範囲を意味する。本明細書に段階的に記載されている数値範囲において、ある段階の数値範囲の上限値又は下限値は、他の段階の数値範囲の上限値又は下限値と任意に組み合わせることができる。本明細書に記載されている数値範囲において、その数値範囲の上限値又は下限値は、実施例に示されている値に置き換えてよい。「A又はB」とは、A及びBのどちらか一方を含んでいればよく、両方とも含んでいてよい。本明細書に例示する材料は、特に断らない限り、1種を単独で又は2種以上を組み合わせて用いることができる。組成物中の各成分の含有量は、組成物中に各成分に該当する物質が複数存在する場合、特に断らない限り、組成物中に存在する当該複数の物質の合計量を意味する。「(メタ)アクリル酸」とは、アクリル酸、及び、それに対応するメタクリル酸の少なくとも一方を意味し、「(メタ)アクリレート」等の他の類似の表現においても同様である。「トルエン可溶分」及び「トルエン不溶分」の測定においては、室温23℃のトルエンを用いることができる。
<クロロプレン重合体ラテックス>
まず、本発明の第一の実施形態に係るクロロプレン重合体ラテックスについて説明する。

(クロロプレン重合体)
本実施形態に係るクロロプレン重合体ラテックスは、クロロプレン重合体を含む。クロロプレン重合体は、クロロプレン(2-クロロ-1,3-ブタジエン)を単量体単位として有する重合体であり、クロロプレンの単独重合体、又は、クロロプレンと他の単量体との共重合体(クロロプレンと2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンとの共重合体等)であってよい。
本実施形態に係るクロロプレン重合体ラテックスは、クロロプレン重合体を含む。クロロプレン重合体は、クロロプレン(2-クロロ-1,3-ブタジエン)を単量体単位として有する重合体であり、クロロプレンの単独重合体、又は、クロロプレンと他の単量体との共重合体(クロロプレンと2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンとの共重合体等)であってよい。
クロロプレンと2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンとの共重合体は、クロロプレン及び2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンを単量体単位として有する重合体であり、クロロプレンと2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンとを含む単量体組成物を重合させることにより得ることができる。
クロロプレンと2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンとの共重合体は、クロロプレン及び2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエン以外の他の単量体の単量体単位を有してよい。このような単量体としては、(メタ)アクリル酸のエステル類((メタ)アクリル酸メチル、(メタ)アクリル酸ブチル、(メタ)アクリル酸2-エチルヘキシル等)、ヒドロキシアルキル(メタ)アクリレート(2-ヒドロキシメチル(メタ)アクリレート、2-ヒドロキシエチル(メタ)アクリレート、2-ヒドロキシプロピル(メタ)アクリレート等)、(メタ)アクリル酸、1-クロロ-1,3-ブタジエン、ブタジエン、イソプレン、エチレン、スチレン、(メタ)アクリロニトリルなどが挙げられる。一方で、クロロプレンと2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンとの共重合体は、クロロプレン及び2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエン以外の他の単量体の単量体単位を有していなくてもよく、実質的にクロロプレンの単量体単位及び2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンの単量体単位からなる共重合体であってよい。
クロロプレン重合体を得るために使用する連鎖移動剤の種類は、特に限定されるものではない。例えば、メルカプタン系連鎖移動剤では、n-ドデシルメルカプタン(1-ドデシルメルカプタン)及びtert-ドデシルメルカプタン等の長鎖アルキルメルカプタン類、キサントゲン系連鎖移動剤では、ジイソプロピルキサントゲンジスルフィド及びジエチルキサントゲンジスルフィド等のジアルキルキサントゲンジスルフィド類のように、クロロプレンの乳化重合に一般的に使用されている公知の連鎖移動剤を使用することができる。
本実施形態に係るクロロプレン重合体ラテックスは、ロジン酸、ロジン酸ナトリウム及びロジン酸カリウムからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種と、水酸化ナトリウム及び水酸化カリウムからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種とを含む。本実施形態に係るクロロプレン重合体ラテックスの乳化系は、ブレンドしたときにゴム固形分の凝集、pH変動等を防ぐため、ベースラテックスと合わせることが望ましい。
(トルエン不溶分)
クロロプレン重合体のトルエン不溶分は、クロロプレン重合体ラテックスを凍結乾燥させて得られるクロロプレン重合体をトルエンで溶解した後に遠心分離を行い、さらに、200メッシュ金網を用いて不溶分(ゲル分)を分離した後に乾燥させて得られる乾燥物の質量を測定することで求められる。
クロロプレン重合体のトルエン不溶分は、クロロプレン重合体ラテックスを凍結乾燥させて得られるクロロプレン重合体をトルエンで溶解した後に遠心分離を行い、さらに、200メッシュ金網を用いて不溶分(ゲル分)を分離した後に乾燥させて得られる乾燥物の質量を測定することで求められる。
本実施形態に係るクロロプレン重合体ラテックスのクロロプレン重合体のトルエン不溶分(ゲル分)は、クロロプレン重合体100質量%に対して10質量%以下である。トルエン不溶分が10質量%以下であれば、混合クロロプレン重合体ラテックス組成物を用いて得られる浸漬成形被膜の柔軟性の指標である100%伸長時のモジュラス値が低くなりやすく、優れた柔軟性を得やすい。
トルエン不溶分は、優れた柔軟性を得やすい観点から、8質量%以下、6質量%以下、5質量%以下、5質量%未満、4質量%以下、3質量%以下、2.5質量%以下、2質量%以下、1.5質量%以下、1.2質量%以下、1質量%以下、1質量%未満、又は、0.8質量%以下であってよい。トルエン不溶分は、0質量%以上、0質量%超、0.5質量%以上、0.8質量%以上、1質量%以上、1質量%超、1.2質量%以上、1.5質量%以上、2質量%以上、2.5質量%以上、3質量%以上、4質量%以上、5質量%以上、又は、6質量%以上であってよい。これらの観点から、トルエン不溶分は、0質量%超10質量%以下、0.5~10質量%、0.8~10質量%、1~10質量%、0質量%超6質量%以下、0.5~6質量%、0.8~6質量%、1~6質量%、0質量%超3質量%以下、0.5~3質量%、0.8~3質量%、又は、1~3質量%であってよい。
(トルエン可溶分の重量平均分子量)
本実施形態に係るクロロプレン重合体ラテックスにおけるトルエン可溶分(トルエン可溶なゾル分)の重量平均分子量は、5,000~200,000である。重量平均分子量が200,000以下であると、低分子量ポリマーの可塑効果により、優れた柔軟性を示す浸漬成形被膜が得られる。重量平均分子量が5000以上であると、浸漬成形被膜を好適に得ることができる。
本実施形態に係るクロロプレン重合体ラテックスにおけるトルエン可溶分(トルエン可溶なゾル分)の重量平均分子量は、5,000~200,000である。重量平均分子量が200,000以下であると、低分子量ポリマーの可塑効果により、優れた柔軟性を示す浸漬成形被膜が得られる。重量平均分子量が5000以上であると、浸漬成形被膜を好適に得ることができる。
トルエン可溶分の重量平均分子量は、優れた柔軟性及び破断強度を両立しやすい観点から、下記の範囲であってよい。トルエン可溶分の重量平均分子量は、6,000以上、7,000以上、8,000以上、10,000以上、12,000以上、15,000以上、18,000以上、20,000以上、25,000以上、50,000以上、又は、100,000以上であってよい。トルエン可溶分の重量平均分子量は、180,000以下、160,000以下、100,000以下、50,000以下、25,000以下、20,000以下、18,000以下、15,000以下、12,000以下、10,000以下、8,000以下、又は、7,000以下であってよい。これらの観点から、トルエン可溶分の重量平均分子量は、5,000~180,000、6,000~180,000、6,000~160,000、6,000~100,000、6,000~50,000、7,000~25,000、7,000~20,000、7,000~15,000、10,000~160,000、10,000~100,000、10,000~50,000、10,000~25,000、10,000~20,000、又は、10,000~15,000であってよい。
トルエン可溶分の重量平均分子量は、本実施形態に係るクロロプレン重合体ラテックスをトルエンに溶解させ、ゲル浸透クロマトグラフィー(GPC)で溶出分(ゾル分)の重量平均分子量を測定することにより得ることができる。重量平均分子量の測定値は、連鎖移動剤の配合量(仕込み量)等によって変化する。

下記の条件でGPC測定を行う。分子量の算出はポリスチレン換算で求める。

(クロロプレン共重合量)
本実施形態に係るクロロプレン重合体ラテックスに含まれるクロロプレン重合体がクロロプレンと他の単量体との共重合体である場合、クロロプレン重合体におけるクロロプレン共重合量(クロロプレンの単量体単位の含有量;以下において同様)は、優れた柔軟性を得やすい観点から、クロロプレン重合体中の単量体単位の全量100質量%、又は、クロロプレン重合体中のクロロプレン共重合量及び2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエン共重合量(2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンの単量体単位の含有量;以下において同様)の合計100質量%に対して、下記の範囲であってよい。クロロプレン共重合量は、100質量%以下、100質量%未満、95質量%以下、90質量%以下、85質量%以下、80質量%以下、75質量%以下、又は、70質量%以下であってよい。クロロプレン共重合量は、50質量%以上、55質量%以上、60質量%以上、65質量%以上、70質量%以上、75質量%以上、80質量%以上、85質量%以上、又は、90質量%以上であってよい。これらの観点から、クロロプレン共重合量は、50質量%以上100質量%未満、70質量%以上100質量%未満、80質量%以上100質量%未満、85質量%以上100質量%未満、90質量%以上100質量%未満、50~90質量%、70~90質量%、80~90質量%、又は、85~90質量%であってよい。
本実施形態に係るクロロプレン重合体ラテックスに含まれるクロロプレン重合体がクロロプレンと他の単量体との共重合体である場合、クロロプレン重合体におけるクロロプレン共重合量(クロロプレンの単量体単位の含有量;以下において同様)は、優れた柔軟性を得やすい観点から、クロロプレン重合体中の単量体単位の全量100質量%、又は、クロロプレン重合体中のクロロプレン共重合量及び2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエン共重合量(2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンの単量体単位の含有量;以下において同様)の合計100質量%に対して、下記の範囲であってよい。クロロプレン共重合量は、100質量%以下、100質量%未満、95質量%以下、90質量%以下、85質量%以下、80質量%以下、75質量%以下、又は、70質量%以下であってよい。クロロプレン共重合量は、50質量%以上、55質量%以上、60質量%以上、65質量%以上、70質量%以上、75質量%以上、80質量%以上、85質量%以上、又は、90質量%以上であってよい。これらの観点から、クロロプレン共重合量は、50質量%以上100質量%未満、70質量%以上100質量%未満、80質量%以上100質量%未満、85質量%以上100質量%未満、90質量%以上100質量%未満、50~90質量%、70~90質量%、80~90質量%、又は、85~90質量%であってよい。
(2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエン共重合量)
本実施形態に係るクロロプレン重合体ラテックスに含まれるクロロプレン重合体がクロロプレンと他の単量体との共重合体である場合、クロロプレン重合体における2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエン共重合量は、優れた柔軟性を得やすい観点から、クロロプレン重合体中の単量体単位の全量100質量%、又は、クロロプレン重合体中のクロロプレン共重合量及び2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエン共重合量の合計100質量%に対して、下記の範囲であってよい。2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエン共重合量は、50質量%以下、45質量%以下、40質量%以下、35質量%以下、30質量%以下、25質量%以下、20質量%以下、15質量%以下、又は、10質量%以下であってよい。2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエン共重合量は、0質量%以上、0質量%超、5質量%以上、10質量%以上、15質量%以上、20質量%以上、25質量%以上、又は、30質量%以上であってよい。これらの観点から、2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエン共重合量は、0質量%超50質量%以下、0質量%超30質量%以下、0質量%超20質量%以下、0質量%超15質量%以下、0質量%超10質量%以下、10~50質量%、10~30質量%、10~20質量%、又は、10~15質量%であってよい。
本実施形態に係るクロロプレン重合体ラテックスに含まれるクロロプレン重合体がクロロプレンと他の単量体との共重合体である場合、クロロプレン重合体における2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエン共重合量は、優れた柔軟性を得やすい観点から、クロロプレン重合体中の単量体単位の全量100質量%、又は、クロロプレン重合体中のクロロプレン共重合量及び2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエン共重合量の合計100質量%に対して、下記の範囲であってよい。2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエン共重合量は、50質量%以下、45質量%以下、40質量%以下、35質量%以下、30質量%以下、25質量%以下、20質量%以下、15質量%以下、又は、10質量%以下であってよい。2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエン共重合量は、0質量%以上、0質量%超、5質量%以上、10質量%以上、15質量%以上、20質量%以上、25質量%以上、又は、30質量%以上であってよい。これらの観点から、2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエン共重合量は、0質量%超50質量%以下、0質量%超30質量%以下、0質量%超20質量%以下、0質量%超15質量%以下、0質量%超10質量%以下、10~50質量%、10~30質量%、10~20質量%、又は、10~15質量%であってよい。
2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエン共重合量は、クロロプレン重合体ラテックスを凍結乾燥させて得られるクロロプレン重合体の熱分解ガスクロマトグラフを測定することで求められる。

熱分解ガスクロマトグラフは以下の測定条件で実施できる。
・使用カラム:DB-5 0.25mmφ×30m(膜厚1.0μm)
・カラム温度:50℃→10℃/min→120℃→25℃/min→300℃
・注入口温度:270℃
・検出器温度:280℃
・試料量:0.05mg
熱分解ガスクロマトグラフは以下の測定条件で実施できる。
・使用カラム:DB-5 0.25mmφ×30m(膜厚1.0μm)
・カラム温度:50℃→10℃/min→120℃→25℃/min→300℃

(クロロプレン重合体ラテックスにより得られる効果)
本実施形態に係るクロロプレン重合体ラテックスの柔軟性、破断強度及び破断伸びを測定するために混合するクロロプレン重合体ラテックスとしては、クロロプレン及び2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンの合計100質量%に対して2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンが5~30質量%共重合されているベースポリマーを含有し、且つ、トルエン不溶分が75質量%以上であるものを用いることが可能であり、デンカ株式会社製のデンカクロロプレンLV-60A(高ゲルタイプ、結晶化速度:非常に遅い)を採用することができる。固形分比率で、本実施形態に係るクロロプレン重合体ラテックスであるクロロプレン重合体ラテックスA(低分子量のクロロプレン重合体ラテックス)と、当該クロロプレン重合体ラテックスAと混合するクロロプレン重合体ラテックスBとの合計100質量部に対し、20質量部のクロロプレン重合体ラテックスAと、80質量部のクロロプレン重合体ラテックスBとを攪拌混合させることにより混合ラテックス組成物を調製する。
本実施形態に係るクロロプレン重合体ラテックスの柔軟性、破断強度及び破断伸びを測定するために混合するクロロプレン重合体ラテックスとしては、クロロプレン及び2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンの合計100質量%に対して2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンが5~30質量%共重合されているベースポリマーを含有し、且つ、トルエン不溶分が75質量%以上であるものを用いることが可能であり、デンカ株式会社製のデンカクロロプレンLV-60A(高ゲルタイプ、結晶化速度:非常に遅い)を採用することができる。固形分比率で、本実施形態に係るクロロプレン重合体ラテックスであるクロロプレン重合体ラテックスA(低分子量のクロロプレン重合体ラテックス)と、当該クロロプレン重合体ラテックスAと混合するクロロプレン重合体ラテックスBとの合計100質量部に対し、20質量部のクロロプレン重合体ラテックスAと、80質量部のクロロプレン重合体ラテックスBとを攪拌混合させることにより混合ラテックス組成物を調製する。
本実施形態に係るクロロプレン重合体ラテックスによれば、ベースポリマーがクロロプレン重合体であるクロロプレン重合体ラテックスと混合することで、優れた柔軟性を有するクロロプレン重合体浸漬成形被膜を得ることができる。具体的には、本実施形態に係るクロロプレン重合体ラテックス20質量部(固形分比率)と、クロロプレン及び2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンの合計100質量%に対して2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンが5~30質量%共重合されているベースポリマーを含有し、且つ、トルエン不溶分が75質量%以上であるクロロプレン重合体ラテックス(デンカ株式会社製のデンカクロロプレンLV-60A)80質量部(固形分比率)と、を混合することにより得られる混合ラテックス組成物を130℃で4時間加硫することにより得られる浸漬成形被膜が、JIS K 6251に準拠して測定したときに、100%伸長時モジュラス0.40~0.70MPa、及び、破断強度17MPa以上を与える。特に、手術用手袋用途におけるASTM規格「D3577」において、破断強度は17MPa以上と規定されている。当該浸漬成形被膜は、非常に優れた柔軟性を備えつつ、十分な機械的強度を有している。なお、「JIS」とは、日本工業規格(Japanese Industrial Standards)を意味する。
従来のクロロプレン重合体は、一般的に機械的強度は優れるものの、天然ゴム又はポリイソプレンを用いて得られる浸漬成形被膜と同様の高い柔軟性が求められる傾向があり、特に手袋用途においては装着感又は被膜の風合いに直結する柔軟性に関する物性を改善したクロロプレン重合体ラテックス(クロロプレン重合体ラテックス組成物)が望まれている。
本実施形態に係るクロロプレン重合体ラテックスを高ゲルタイプのクロロプレン重合体ラテックスにブレンドさせて得られる混合ラテックス組成物から得られる浸漬成形被膜は、高い破断強度を維持しつつ、柔軟性の指標とした100%伸長時モジュラスの値が低く、柔軟性に非常に優れている。特に、手術用手袋用途におけるASTM規格「D3577」を参照すると、非常に優れた柔軟性を備えつつ十分な機械的強度を有しているのが分かる。このため、本実施形態に係るクロロプレン重合体ラテックスは、浸漬成形体の原料として好適に用いられる。
<浸漬成形体>
次に、本発明の第二の実施形態に係る浸漬成形体について説明する。本実施形態に係る浸漬成形体は、前述した第一の実施形態のクロロプレン重合体ラテックスを用いた浸漬成形体であり、例えば、第一の実施形態のクロロプレン重合体ラテックスと、トルエン不溶分が75質量%以上である他のクロロプレン重合体ラテックスとをブレンドした後に浸漬成形したものである。すなわち、本実施形態に係る浸漬成形体は、例えば、第一の実施形態のクロロプレン重合体ラテックスと、トルエン不溶分が75質量%以上であるクロロプレン重合体ラテックスとを混合して得られる混合ラテックス組成物の浸漬成形体であってよい。本実施形態に係る浸漬成形体は、100%伸長時のモジュラスが低く柔軟であり、且つ、強度、伸び等の機械的特性に優れている。本実施形態に係る浸漬成形体は、手袋、風船、カテーテル又は長靴であってよい。
次に、本発明の第二の実施形態に係る浸漬成形体について説明する。本実施形態に係る浸漬成形体は、前述した第一の実施形態のクロロプレン重合体ラテックスを用いた浸漬成形体であり、例えば、第一の実施形態のクロロプレン重合体ラテックスと、トルエン不溶分が75質量%以上である他のクロロプレン重合体ラテックスとをブレンドした後に浸漬成形したものである。すなわち、本実施形態に係る浸漬成形体は、例えば、第一の実施形態のクロロプレン重合体ラテックスと、トルエン不溶分が75質量%以上であるクロロプレン重合体ラテックスとを混合して得られる混合ラテックス組成物の浸漬成形体であってよい。本実施形態に係る浸漬成形体は、100%伸長時のモジュラスが低く柔軟であり、且つ、強度、伸び等の機械的特性に優れている。本実施形態に係る浸漬成形体は、手袋、風船、カテーテル又は長靴であってよい。
本実施形態に係る浸漬成形体の製造方法(成形方法)としては、例えば凝固液浸漬法が挙げられるが、これに限定されるものではなく、常法に従って成形すればよい。
本実施形態に係る浸漬成形体は、加硫剤及び加硫促進剤からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種を含まなくてよく、加硫剤及び加硫促進剤からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種を含んでもよい。すなわち、本実施形態に係る浸漬成形体は、加硫剤を含み加硫促進剤を含まない態様、加硫剤を含まず加硫促進剤を含む態様、加硫剤及び加硫促進剤を含む態様、並びに、加硫剤及び加硫促進剤を含まない態様を包含する。加硫剤及び加硫促進剤を配合するか否かは、目的とする浸漬成形体に応じて決定すればよい。
加硫剤としては、硫黄、酸化亜鉛、酸化マグネシウム等が挙げられるが、これらに限定されるものではない。
加硫促進剤は、原料ゴムの加硫に際して、加硫剤と作用して加硫速度を増大させ加硫時間の短縮、加硫温度の低下、加硫剤の減量、加硫ゴムの物性向上等を目的として添加する薬剤である。加硫促進剤は、通常は硫黄加硫反応を促進する薬剤を指す。
クロロプレン重合体ラテックスの加硫に一般的に用いられる加硫促進剤としては、チウラム系、ジチオカルバミン酸塩系、チオウレア系、グアニジン系、キサントゲン酸塩系、チアゾール系等が挙げられるが、これらに限定されるものではない。加硫促進剤は、単独で、又は、必要に応じ2種以上組み合わせて用いられる。
チウラム系の加硫促進剤としては、テトラメチルチウラムジスルフィド、テトラエチルチウラムジスルフィド、テトラブチルチウラムジスルフィド、テトラキス(2-エチルヘキシル)チウラムジスルフィド、テトラメチルチウラムモノスルフィド、ジペンタメチレンチウラムテトラスルフィド等が挙げられる。
ジチオカルバミン酸塩系の加硫促進剤としては、ジブチルジチオカルバミン酸ナトリウム、ジメチルジチオカルバミン酸亜鉛、ジエチルジチオカルバミン酸亜鉛、ジブチルジチオカルバミン酸亜鉛、N-エチル-N-フェニルジチオカルバミン酸亜鉛、N-ペンタメチレンジチオカルバミン酸亜鉛、ジメチルジチオカルバミン酸銅、ジメチルジチオカルバミン酸第二鉄、ジエチルジチオカルバミン酸テルル等が挙げられ、特にジブチルジチオカルバミン酸亜鉛が好適に用いられる。
チオウレア系の加硫促進剤としては、エチレンチオウレア、N,N’-ジエチルチオウレア、トリメチルチオウレア、N,N’-ジフェニルチオウレア等が挙げられる。
グアニジン系の加硫促進剤としては、1,3-ジフェニルグアニジン、1,3-ジ-o-トリルグアニジン、1-o-トリルビグアニド、ジカテコールボレートのジ-o-トリルグアニジン塩等が挙げられる。
キサントゲン酸塩系の加硫促進剤としては、ブチルキサントゲン酸亜鉛、イソプロピルキサントゲン酸亜鉛等が挙げられる。
チアゾール系の加硫促進剤としては、2-メルカプトベンゾチアゾール、ジ-2-ベンゾチアゾリルジスルフィド、2-メルカプトベンゾチアゾール亜鉛塩、2-メルカプトベンゾチアゾールのシクロヘキシルアミン塩、2-(4’-モルホリノジチオ)ベンゾチアゾール等が挙げられる。
<クロロプレン重合体ラテックスの製造方法>
次に、本発明の第三の実施形態に係るクロロプレン重合体ラテックスの製造方法について説明する。

本実施形態に係るクロロプレン重合体ラテックスの製造方法は、クロロプレン及び2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種を乳化重合する重合工程を含む。重合工程は、クロロプレンと、2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンと、アルキルメルカプタンとを乳化重合させてクロロプレン重合体ラテックスを得る工程であってよい。
クロロプレン重合体ラテックスに含まれるクロロプレン重合体の2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエン共重合量は、前述の通り、クロロプレン重合体に含まれるクロロプレン及び2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンの合計100質量%に対して50質量%以下(0~50質量%)の範囲であってよい。重合工程(乳化重合開始前)における2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンの配合量(仕込み量)は、クロロプレン及び2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンの合計100質量部に対して、50質量部以下、又は、30質量部以下であってよい。重合工程における2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンの配合量は、0質量部であってよく、0質量部を超え50質量部以下、0~50質量部、又は、0~30質量部であってよい。重合工程における2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンの配合量の数値範囲としては、本実施形態に係るクロロプレン重合体ラテックスに含まれるクロロプレン重合体における2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエン共重合量に関して上述した数値範囲を用いてよい。
前述の通り、乳化重合に際して用いる連鎖移動剤の種類は、特に限定されるものではない。連鎖移動剤としては、例えば、n-ドデシルメルカプタン(1-ドデシルメルカプタン)、tert-ドデシルメルカプタン等の長鎖アルキルメルカプタン類、ジイソプロピルキサントゲンジスルフィド、ジエチルキサントゲンジスルフィド等のジアルキルキサントゲンジスルフィド類などのように、クロロプレンの乳化重合に一般的に使用されている公知の連鎖移動剤を使用することができる。
クロロプレン重合体ラテックスにおいて、乳化重合開始前の連鎖移動剤の配合量(仕込み量)で重量平均分子量を調整することができる。例えば、連鎖移動剤の配合量(例えば、メルカプタン系連鎖移動剤(n-ドデシルメルカプタン等)又はキサントゲン系連鎖移動剤の配合量)は、クロロプレン及び2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンの合計100質量部に対して0.50質量部以上15質量部未満であってよい。これにより、トルエン可溶分の重量平均分子量を5,000~200,000に調整しやすく、本実施形態に係るクロロプレン重合体ラテックスと、高ゲルタイプのクロロプレン重合体ラテックスとの混合物である混合ラテックス組成物を用いて得られる浸漬成形被膜の柔軟性が向上しやすい。
連鎖移動剤の配合量は、浸漬成形被膜の柔軟性を調整する観点から、クロロプレン及び2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンの合計100質量部に対して下記の範囲であってよい。連鎖移動剤の配合量は、0.50質量部以上、0.80質量部以上、1.0質量部以上、2.0質量部以上、3.0質量部以上、5.0質量部以上、6.0質量部以上、又は、10質量部以上であってよい。連鎖移動剤の配合量は、10質量部以下、6.0質量部以下、5.0質量部以下、3.0質量部以下、2.0質量部以下、1.0質量部以下、又は、0.80質量部以下であってよい。これらの観点から、連鎖移動剤の配合量は、0.50~10質量部、0.80~10質量部、1.0~10質量部、2.0~10質量部、3.0~10質量部、0.50~5.0質量部、0.80~5.0質量部、1.0~5.0質量部、2.0~5.0質量部、又は、3.0~5.0質量部であってよい。
重合工程では、連鎖移動剤の存在下で、クロロプレン及び2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種を乳化重合してよく、連鎖移動剤の配合量は、クロロプレン及び2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンの合計100質量部に対して0.50質量部以上15質量部未満であってよい。また、混合ラテックス組成物を用いて得られる浸漬成形被膜の柔軟性と破断強度の両立の観点から、後述の実施例より、トルエン可溶分の重量平均分子量は、7,000~25,000の範囲であることが好ましい。
乳化重合に用いる乳化剤は、ロジン酸類が好適である。共役樹脂酸成分を含むロジン酸、又は、それらの成分を不均化処理によって除去したロジン酸又はロジン酸金属塩を用いることで、ベースラテックスとブレンドしたときにゴム固形分の凝集、pH変動等を防ぐことができる。
また、一般的に用いられるその他の乳化剤、脂肪酸類等を用いることもできる。その他の乳化剤としては、芳香族スルホン酸ホルマリン縮合物の金属塩(例えばβ-ナフタレンスルホン酸ホルマリン縮合物のナトリウム塩)、ドデシルベンゼンスルホン酸ナトリウム、ドデシルベンゼンスルホン酸カリウム、アルキルジフェニルエーテルスルホン酸ナトリウム、アルキルジフェニルエーテルスルホン酸カリウム、ポリオキシエチレンアルキルエーテルスルホン酸ナトリウム、ポリオキシプロピレンアルキルエーテルスルホン酸ナトリウム、ポリオキシエチレンアルキルエーテルスルホン酸カリウム、ポリオキシプロピレンアルキルエーテルスルホン酸カリウム等が挙げられる。
ロジン酸を除く陰イオン界面活性剤の含有量は、クロロプレン重合体ラテックスに含まれるクロロプレン重合体100質量%に対して0.2~1.0質量%が好ましい。このため、乳化重合開始前のロジン酸を除く陰イオン界面活性剤の配合量(仕込み量)を、クロロプレン及び2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンの合計100質量部に対して0.2~0.9質量部の範囲内とすることが好ましい。
乳化重合開始時の水性乳化液のpHは10.5~13.5であることが好ましい。水性乳化液とは、乳化重合開始前のアルキルメルカプタン、クロロプレン、2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエン等の混合液を指すが、各成分を後添加したり、分割添加したりすることにより、その組成が変わる場合も包含される。乳化重合開始時の水性乳化液のpHが10.5以上であると、より安定的に重合反応を制御することができる。pHが13.5以下であると、重合中の過度な粘度上昇が抑制されて、より安定的に重合反応を制御することができる。
乳化重合の重合温度は、5~55℃の範囲内であってよい。重合温度が5℃以上であると、乳化液が凍結しづらい。同様の観点から、重合温度は、10℃以上、15℃以上、20℃以上、25℃以上、30℃以上、35℃以上、40℃以上、又は、45℃以上であってよい。重合温度が55℃以下であると、クロロプレンモノマーの蒸散及び沸騰を抑制しやすい。同様の観点から、重合温度は、50℃以下、45℃以下、40℃以下、35℃以下、30℃以下、25℃以下、20℃以下、15℃以下、又は、10℃以下であってよい。これらの観点から、重合温度は、10~50℃、15~50℃、30~50℃、10~40℃、15~40℃、又は、30~40℃であってよい。
重合開始剤としては、通常のラジカル重合で用いられる過硫酸カリウム、過酸化ベンゾイル、過硫酸アンモニウム、過酸化水素等を用いればよい。
重合転化率は、50~95%の範囲であってよい。重合工程では、重合温度5~55℃、重合転化率50~95%で乳化重合を行うことができる。重合反応は、重合禁止剤を加えることにより停止させることができる。重合転化率が50%以上であると、生産コストが有利である。同様の観点から、重合転化率は、60%以上、70%以上、75%以上、80%以上、85%以上、又は、90%以上であってよい。重合転化率が95%以下であると、未反応モノマーの減少による重合反応性の低下を回避し、生産性の低下を避けられる。同様の観点から、重合転化率は、90%以下、85%以下、80%以下、又は、75%以下であってよい。これらの観点から、重合転化率は、60~90%、60~85%、60~80%、75~90%、75~85%、又は、75~80%であってよい。
重合禁止剤としては、ジエチルヒドロキシルアミン、チオジフェニルアミン、4-tert-ブチルカテコール、2,2’-メチレンビス-4-メチル-6-tert-ブチルフェノール等が挙げられる。乳化重合終了後の未反応単量体は、常法の減圧蒸留等の方法で除去することができる。
また、本実施形態に係るクロロプレン重合体ラテックスの製造方法により得られるクロロプレン重合体ラテックスには、重合後に、凍結安定剤、乳化安定剤、粘度調整剤、老化防止剤、酸化防止剤、防腐剤等を任意に添加することができる。
以下、実施例、比較例及び参考例に基づいて本発明をより詳細に説明するが、本発明はこれらの実施例に限定されるものではない。
<実施例1>
(クロロプレン重合体ラテックスの作製)
内容積40リットルの重合缶に、クロロプレン単量体90質量部、2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエン単量体10質量部、1-ドデシルメルカプタン3.0質量部、純水90質量部、ロジン酸カリウム塩(商品名「ロンヂスK-25」、荒川化学工業株式会社製)4.8質量部、水酸化カリウム0.75質量部、及び、β-ナフタレンスルホン酸ホルマリン縮合物のナトリウム塩(商品名「デモールN」、花王株式会社製)0.40質量部を添加した。重合開始前の水性乳化液のpHは12.9であった。重合開始剤として過硫酸カリウム0.1質量部を添加し、重合温度35℃にて窒素気流下で重合を行った。重合転化率80%となった時点で、重合禁止剤であるジエチルヒドロキシルアミンを0.01質量部加えて重合を停止させ、ラテックスを得た。
(クロロプレン重合体ラテックスの作製)
内容積40リットルの重合缶に、クロロプレン単量体90質量部、2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエン単量体10質量部、1-ドデシルメルカプタン3.0質量部、純水90質量部、ロジン酸カリウム塩(商品名「ロンヂスK-25」、荒川化学工業株式会社製)4.8質量部、水酸化カリウム0.75質量部、及び、β-ナフタレンスルホン酸ホルマリン縮合物のナトリウム塩(商品名「デモールN」、花王株式会社製)0.40質量部を添加した。重合開始前の水性乳化液のpHは12.9であった。重合開始剤として過硫酸カリウム0.1質量部を添加し、重合温度35℃にて窒素気流下で重合を行った。重合転化率80%となった時点で、重合禁止剤であるジエチルヒドロキシルアミンを0.01質量部加えて重合を停止させ、ラテックスを得た。
上記ラテックスを減圧蒸留して未反応の単量体と水分を除去することで、固形分60%のクロロプレン重合体ラテックスA(メルカプタン変性クロロプレン重合体ラテックス)を得た。
(2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエン共重合量の測定)
上記クロロプレン重合体ラテックスAを凍結乾燥させて得られるクロロプレン重合体を0.05mgの試験片に裁断し、熱分解ガスクロマトグラフにて測定を実施した。この熱分解ガスクロマトグラフにて測定したクロロプレン重合体ラテックスAの2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエン共重合量は、クロロプレン重合体中のクロロプレン及び2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンの合計100質量%に対して10.3質量%であった。本分析値より、クロロプレン重合体中の2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエン共重合量は、2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンの配合量(仕込み量)と概ね相関を示すことが確認された。
上記クロロプレン重合体ラテックスAを凍結乾燥させて得られるクロロプレン重合体を0.05mgの試験片に裁断し、熱分解ガスクロマトグラフにて測定を実施した。この熱分解ガスクロマトグラフにて測定したクロロプレン重合体ラテックスAの2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエン共重合量は、クロロプレン重合体中のクロロプレン及び2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンの合計100質量%に対して10.3質量%であった。本分析値より、クロロプレン重合体中の2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエン共重合量は、2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンの配合量(仕込み量)と概ね相関を示すことが確認された。
(トルエン不溶分の測定)
上記クロロプレン重合体ラテックスAを凍結乾燥させて得られるクロロプレン重合体1gを2mm角に裁断することにより小片を得た後、この小片をコニカルビーカーに入れてトルエンで16時間溶解した。その後、遠心分離し、200メッシュ金網を用いてゲル分を分離し乾燥させて得られる乾燥物の質量を測定することによりトルエン不溶分を算出した。クロロプレン重合体ラテックスAのトルエン不溶分は0.8質量%であった。
上記クロロプレン重合体ラテックスAを凍結乾燥させて得られるクロロプレン重合体1gを2mm角に裁断することにより小片を得た後、この小片をコニカルビーカーに入れてトルエンで16時間溶解した。その後、遠心分離し、200メッシュ金網を用いてゲル分を分離し乾燥させて得られる乾燥物の質量を測定することによりトルエン不溶分を算出した。クロロプレン重合体ラテックスAのトルエン不溶分は0.8質量%であった。
(重量平均分子量の測定)
上記クロロプレン重合体ラテックスAをトルエンに溶解させた際の溶出分(ゾル分)について、ゲル浸透クロマトグラフィーによる重量平均分子量をポリスチレン換算で測定したところ、24,000であった。

(評価サンプルの作製)
クロロプレン及び2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンの合計100質量%に対して2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンが5~30質量%共重合されているベースポリマーを含有し、且つ、トルエン不溶分が75質量%以上であるクロロプレン重合体ラテックスBとして、デンカ株式会社製のデンカクロロプレン「LV-60A」を準備した。上記クロロプレン重合体ラテックスAとクロロプレン重合体ラテックスBとの合計を100質量部とした際に、クロロプレン重合体ラテックスAを20質量部及びクロロプレン重合体ラテックスBを80質量部の比率(固形分比率)で攪拌混合することでクロロプレン重合体ラテックス組成物C(混合ラテックス組成物)を得た。
クロロプレン及び2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンの合計100質量%に対して2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンが5~30質量%共重合されているベースポリマーを含有し、且つ、トルエン不溶分が75質量%以上であるクロロプレン重合体ラテックスBとして、デンカ株式会社製のデンカクロロプレン「LV-60A」を準備した。上記クロロプレン重合体ラテックスAとクロロプレン重合体ラテックスBとの合計を100質量部とした際に、クロロプレン重合体ラテックスAを20質量部及びクロロプレン重合体ラテックスBを80質量部の比率(固形分比率)で攪拌混合することでクロロプレン重合体ラテックス組成物C(混合ラテックス組成物)を得た。
クロロプレン重合体ラテックス組成物Cの固形分100質量部に、水分散液7.1質量部を混合した後に水を加えて配合物の全体の固形分濃度を30質量%に調整して、加硫剤、加硫促進剤及び老化防止剤を含むクロロプレン重合体ラテックス組成物Dを作製した。上記水分散液は、硫黄(加硫剤)1質量部、酸化亜鉛(加硫剤、商品名「酸化亜鉛2種」、堺化学工業株式会社製)2質量部、ジ-n-ブチル-ジチオカルバミン酸亜鉛(加硫促進剤、商品名「ノクセラーBZ」、大内新興化学工業株式会社製)2質量部、p-クレゾールとジシクロペンタジエンのブチル化反応生成物(老化防止剤、商品名「ノクラックPBK」、大内新興化学工業株式会社製)2質量部、β-ナフタレンスルホン酸ホルマリン縮合物のナトリウム塩(商品名「デモールN」、花王株式会社製)0.1質量部、及び、水11質量部を、陶器製ボールミルを用いて、20℃で16時間混合し、調製した。
外径50mmのセラミック製の筒(株式会社シンコー製)を、水62質量部、硝酸カリウム四水和物35質量部、及び、炭酸カルシウム3質量部を混合した凝固液に1秒間浸した後に筒を取り出した。室温23℃にて3分間乾燥させた後、上記筒を上記クロロプレン重合体ラテックス組成物Dに10秒間浸した。その後、45℃の流水で1分間洗浄した後、130℃で4時間加硫して、評価サンプルとして加硫フィルム(浸漬成形被膜。加硫剤、加硫促進剤及び老化防止剤を含む加硫フィルム)を作製した。加硫フィルムを筒の外周面から剥離して評価を行った。
(評価サンプルの評価)

<実施例2~7及び比較例1~3>
表1に示した条件によりクロロプレン重合体ラテックスAを重合し、実施例1と同様に加硫フィルムを作製及び評価した。

実施例1~7及び比較例1~3の結果を表1に示す。

表1から明らかなように、実施例1~7のクロロプレン重合体ラテックスAとデンカクロロプレンLV-60A(クロロプレン重合体ラテックスB)との混合物である混合ラテックス組成物(クロロプレン重合体ラテックス組成物C)を用いて得られる浸漬成形被膜について、100%伸長時モジュラスの値が低く柔軟であり、且つ、破断強度及び破断伸びの機械的特性に優れていた。また、実施例1、4、6、7によれば、クロロプレン重合体ラテックスAの重量平均分子量が7,000~25,000の範囲であれば、100%伸長時モジュラスの値が更に低く柔軟であり、且つ、破断強度が高いことが分かる。
比較例1は、クロロプレン重合体ラテックスAの重量平均分子量が200,000を超えており、混合ラテックス組成物を用いて得られる浸漬成形被膜の100%伸長時モジュラスの値が高く、柔軟性が劣っていた。
比較例2は、クロロプレン重合体ラテックスAの重量平均分子量が5,000未満であり、混合ラテックス組成物を用いて浸漬成形被膜の作製を試みると、クロロプレン重合体ラテックスAの低分子量クロロプレン重合体がブリードし(染み出し)、べとつきが酷くなってしまい浸漬成形被膜が作製できなかった。
比較例3は、クロロプレン重合体ラテックスAの重量平均分子量が200,000を超えており、混合ラテックス組成物を用いて得られる浸漬成形被膜の100%伸長時モジュラスの値が高く、柔軟性が劣っていた。
<参考例1~2>
参考例1として、上記クロロプレン重合体ラテックスBと混合することなく実施例1の上記クロロプレン重合体ラテックスAのみを用いて、上記と同様に浸漬成形被膜(加硫フィルム)の作製を試みたが、べとつきが酷くなってしまい浸漬成形被膜が作製できなかった。
参考例1として、上記クロロプレン重合体ラテックスBと混合することなく実施例1の上記クロロプレン重合体ラテックスAのみを用いて、上記と同様に浸漬成形被膜(加硫フィルム)の作製を試みたが、べとつきが酷くなってしまい浸漬成形被膜が作製できなかった。
参考例2として、上記クロロプレン重合体ラテックスAと混合することなく上記クロロプレン重合体ラテックスB(デンカ株式会社製のデンカクロロプレン「LV-60A」)のみを用いて、上記と同様に浸漬成形被膜(加硫フィルム)を作製及び評価したところ、100%伸長時モジュラスは0.82MPaであり、破断強度は21.2MPaであり、破断伸びは1050%であった。破断強度は優れるが、100%伸長時モジュラスの値が高く、柔軟性が劣っていた。
これらのことから、本発明のクロロプレン重合体ラテックスを、ベースポリマーがクロロプレン重合体であるクロロプレン重合体ラテックスと混合することで、柔軟性に優れる浸漬成形被膜が得られることが分かる。
Claims (5)
- クロロプレン重合体と、ロジン酸、ロジン酸ナトリウム及びロジン酸カリウムからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種と、水酸化ナトリウム及び水酸化カリウムからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種と、を含み、
前記クロロプレン重合体のトルエン不溶分が10質量%以下であり、
トルエン可溶分の重量平均分子量が5,000~200,000である、クロロプレン重合体ラテックス。 - 請求項1に記載のクロロプレン重合体ラテックスであって、
当該クロロプレン重合体ラテックス20質量部と、
クロロプレン及び2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンの合計100質量%に対して2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンが5~30質量%共重合されているベースポリマーを含有し、且つ、トルエン不溶分が75質量%以上であるクロロプレン重合体ラテックス80質量部と、
を混合することにより得られる混合ラテックス組成物を130℃で4時間加硫することにより得られる浸漬成形被膜が、JIS K 6251に準拠して測定したときに、100%伸長時モジュラス0.40~0.70MPa、及び、破断強度17MPa以上を与える、クロロプレン重合体ラテックス。 - 請求項1又は2に記載のクロロプレン重合体ラテックスを用いた、浸漬成形体。
- 手袋、風船、カテーテル又は長靴である、請求項3に記載の浸漬成形体。
- 請求項1に記載のクロロプレン重合体ラテックスを得るための製造方法であって、
連鎖移動剤の存在下で、クロロプレン及び2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種を重合温度5~55℃、重合転化率50~95%で乳化重合する重合工程を含み、
前記重合工程において、前記クロロプレン及び前記2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンの合計100質量部に対して、前記連鎖移動剤の配合量が0.50質量部以上15質量部未満であり、前記2,3-ジクロロ-1,3-ブタジエンの配合量が50質量部以下である、クロロプレン重合体ラテックスの製造方法。
