Abstract
Description
(a)0.5質量%以上のサリチル酸;
(b)有機変性粘土鉱物;
(c)ソルビタン脂肪酸エステル;及び
(d)色材、を含有することを特徴とする油中水型乳化組成物、を提供する。
サリチル酸は比較的軽度のニキビの治癒に有効であることが知られ、従来から化粧料に配合されている既知の成分である。
従来の化粧料にあっては、サリチル酸は少量しか配合されていなかったが、本発明の組成物は、少なくとも0.5質量%のサリチル酸を安定に配合可能である点にも特徴がある。本発明の組成物におけるサリチル酸の配合量は、0.5質量%以上であり、配合量の上限値は特に限定されないが、通常は20質量%以下、好ましくは10質量%以下程度である。
なお、本発明の組成物のサリチル酸を4-メトキシサリチル酸塩等のサリチル酸誘導体(アルコキシサリチル酸)に置換すると、経時で粘度が上昇して使用性が重くなる傾向があり好ましくない。従って、本発明における「サリチル酸」はサリチル酸及びその塩を含むが、アルコキシサリチル酸等のサリチル酸誘導体を含まないものとする。
本発明の組成物に用いる有機変性粘土鉱物としては、ベントナイトのような天然または合成のスメクタイトの粘土鉱物に第四級アンモニウム塩化合物をイオン交換反応により付加させたものが好適である。有機変性粘土鉱物は、製薬学上許容され得るものであれば特に限定されず、例えば、ジメチルアンモニウムヘクトライト、ベンジルジメチルステアリルアンモニウムヘクトライト、塩化ジステアリルジメチルアンモニウム処理ケイ酸アルミニウムマグネシウム等が挙げられる。好ましい市販品としては、エレメンティス社より「ベントン38VCG」の名称で販売されているジメチルジステアリルアンモニウムヘクトライト、エレメンティス社より「ベントン27VCG」の名称で販売されているベンジルジメチルステアリルアンモニウムヘクトライトなどが例示される。
本発明の組成物で用いるソルビタン脂肪酸エステルは、炭素数12~20の脂肪酸とソルビトールとのエステルである。炭素数12~20の脂肪酸としてはステアリン酸、イソステアリン酸、セスキイソステアリン酸等が挙げられる。具体例としては、モノイソステアリン酸ソルビタン、セスキイソステアリン酸ソルビタン等が挙げられるが、中でも、セスキイソステアリン酸ソルビタンが好ましく用いられる。市販品としては、「エステモール182V」(日清オイリオ(株)製)、「エマレックスSPIS-150」(日本エマルジョン(株)製)等が例示される。
本発明の組成物に配合される色材は、顔料及びパール顔料等の、メーキャップ化粧料に通常配合されるものを使用することができる。
具体的には、無機白色系顔料(二酸化チタン、酸化亜鉛)、無機赤色系顔料(酸化鉄(べンガラ)、チタン酸鉄)、無機褐色系顔料(γ-酸化鉄)、無機黄色系顔料(黄酸化鉄、黄土)、無機黒色系顔料(黒酸化鉄、カーボン、低次酸化チタン)、無機紫色系顔料(マンゴバイオレット、コバルトバイオレット)、無機緑色系顔料(酸化クロム、水酸化クロム、チタン酸コバルト)、無機青色系顔料(群青、紺青)、パール顔料(酸化チタン被覆マイカ、酸化チタン被覆オキシ塩化ビスマス、酸化チタン被覆タルク、着色酸化チタン被覆マイカ、オキシ塩化ビスマス、魚鱗箔)、金属粉末顔料(アルミニウムパウダー、カッパーパウダー)、有機顔料(赤色202号、赤色205号、赤色220号、赤色228号、赤色405号、橙色203号、橙色204号、黄色205号、黄色401号、青色404号)、ジルコニウム、バリウム、アルミニウムレーキの有機顔料(赤色3号、赤色104号、赤色227号、赤色401号、橙色205号、黄色4号、黄色202号、緑色3号、青色1号)、天然色素(クロロフィル、カルチノイド系(β-カロチン)、カルサミン、コチニール、カルコン、クルクミン、ベタニン、フラボノール、フラボン、アントシアニジン、アントラキノン、ナフトキノン)、機能性顔料(窒化ホウ素、フォトクロミック顔料、合成フッ素金雲母、鉄含有合成フッ素金雲母、微粒子複合粉体(ハイブリッドファインパウダー))の中からいずれか1種又は2種以上を選ぶことができるが、これに限定されない。
外相を構成する油分は、化粧料等に使用できる油分であれば特に限定されないが、シリコーン油を含有するのが好ましい。シリコーン油としては、揮発性シリコーン油、中でも、揮発性の直鎖状シリコーン油(1.5cs、2cs等)を用いるのが特に好ましい。本発明の組成物における油分の配合量は、1~30質量%程度である。
内相を構成する水は、アルコール(エタノール)等の親水性成分を保持しうる。本発明の組成物における水の配合量は、20~40質量%程度である。
本発明で好ましく使用されるのは、ポリシロキサン骨格にグラフトしたポリオキシアルキレン基を持つポリエーテル変性シリコーンであって、任意にアルキル共変性されていてもよい。ポリシロキサン骨格が直鎖状のポリエーテル変性シリコーン(直鎖型)、及びポリシロキサン骨格が分岐鎖状のポリエーテル変性シリコーン(分岐鎖型)が使用できるが、安定性向上の点で、分岐鎖型のポリエーテル変性シリコーンが好ましい。また、特に限定されないが、好ましくは6.0以下、より好ましくは5.0以下であり、好ましくは3.0以上のHLBを持つポリエーテル変性シリコーン、及びアルキル共変性されていないポリエーテル変性シリコーンが好ましく用いられる。
本発明で好ましく用いられるポリエチレングリコールは、平均分子量が1000~15000のポリエチレングリコールである。具体例としては、ポリエチレングリコール1000(INCI名:PEG-20)、ポリエチレングリコール1500(INCI名:PEG-6;PEG-32)、ポリエチレングリコール4000(INCI名:PEG-75)、ポリエチレングリコール6000(INCI名:PEG-150)、ポリエチレングリコール11000(INCI名:PEG-240)等が挙げられる。これらの中でもポリエチレングリコール-6000が好ましい。
各例の化粧料について、以下の方法及び基準に従って、離漿安定性、色縞、及び使用性(調製直後及び2週間後)を評価した。
各例の化粧料を、50℃で4週間静置した後、離漿(油浮き)の有無を目視により観察し、下記基準により評価した。
(評価基準)
A:変化無し(離漿なし)
B:表面に透明な液が少し認められた
C:透明な液が溜まった状態で認められた
各例の化粧料をポリエチレン容器で保存したときの化粧料バルクを目視により観察し、以下の基準で評価した。
(評価基準)
A:色縞なし
B:狭い範囲にぼやけた色縞があるが外観全体としては問題がない
C:広い範囲にぼやけた色縞がある
各例の化粧料の使用性を、調製直後(直後)及び室温で2週間静置後(経時)に、以下の基準で専門パネルが評価した。
(評価基準)
A:のびが軽い
B:ややのびが重い
C:とてものびが重い
Claims (6)
- (a)0.5質量%以上のサリチル酸;
(b)有機変性粘土鉱物;
(c)ソルビタン脂肪酸エステル;及び
(d)色材、を含有することを特徴とする油中水型乳化組成物。 - 前記(b)有機変性粘土鉱物の配合量が、組成物全量に対して0.1~5.0質量%である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- ポリエーテル変性シリコーンを更に含有する、請求項1又は2に記載の組成物。
- ポリエチレングリコールを更に含有する、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 前記(c)ソルビタン脂肪酸エステルが、セスキイソステアリン酸ソルビタンである、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の組成物からなるメーキャップ化粧料。
