この油性基剤においては、耐水性や化粧もちをさらに向上させる目的で、トリメチルシロキシケイ酸等の油溶性被膜剤を配合することが行われている。この油溶性被膜剤を配合することにより化粧塗膜が強化されるので、耐水性が高まるとともに、接触(こすれ)によるはがれ落ちが抑制されるという効果がある。
しかしながら、油溶性被膜剤は上記効果を発揮する反面、化粧料に高配合すると、被膜感が強くなり、特に目元や口唇用の化粧料にあっては皮膚の動きに対する追随性が損なわれ、使用性が劣ることが懸念される。また、油溶性被膜剤を高配合した化粧料は、通常の洗浄料や石鹸で簡単に落とすことができず、専用クレンジング剤を用いなければならないといった問題が生じる場合もある。
その他の化粧効果を維持する技術として、(A)紫外線防御剤と、(B)常温で固形の脂肪酸とを含有し、前記脂肪酸の中和率が51%以下であって、(A)紫外線防御剤と(B)脂肪酸との配合量比率((A)/(B))を0.1以上10.0未満の範囲内とすることによって、水や汗等の水分と接触した後に膜厚が均一化され、紫外線防御効果が顕著に向上するという特性を有する水中油型乳化化粧料が提案されている(特許文献1)。
上記技術によれば紫外線防御効果の高い水中油型乳化化粧料が得られるが、化粧もちについては十分に検討されていない。
本発明は、耐水性に優れ、化粧もちに優れる口唇化粧料を提供することを目的とする。
発明者等は、前記の課題を解決すべく鋭意検討を重ねた結果、マイクロクリスタリンワックス、キャンデリラロウおよびカルナウバロウから選択される少なくとも1種のワックスと、パルミチン酸、ミリスチン酸およびステアリン酸から選択される少なくとも1種の脂肪酸を1質量%以上と、液状炭化水素油とを配合することによって、塗布膜が水や汗等の水分と接触した後に膜厚が増大することを見出し、本発明を完成するに至った。
すなわち、本発明は、
(A)マイクロクリスタリンワックス、キャンデリラロウおよびカルナウバロウから選択される少なくとも1種と、
(B)ミリスチン酸、パルミチン酸およびステアリン酸から選択される少なくとも1種を1質量%以上と、
(C)液状炭化水素油と
を含むことを特徴とする、口唇化粧料を提供する。
(A)マイクロクリスタリンワックス、キャンデリラロウおよびカルナウバロウから選択される少なくとも1種と、
(B)ミリスチン酸、パルミチン酸およびステアリン酸から選択される少なくとも1種を1質量%以上と、
(C)液状炭化水素油と
を含むことを特徴とする、口唇化粧料を提供する。
本発明は、上記構成とすることにより、化粧塗布膜が水や汗等の水分と接触した後に膜厚が増大する。よって、本発明によって化粧もちが向上した口唇化粧料を得ることができる。また、本発明の口唇化粧料は適度な硬度を有するので、皮膚への塗り広がりが良く、均一な塗布膜を得ることができる。本発明によれば、油溶性被膜剤を実質的に配合しなくとも化粧もちに優れる化粧料を実現することができる。さらに、本発明の口唇化粧料に紫外線防御剤を配合した場合には、水や汗等の水分との接触により紫外線防御剤が有する紫外線防御能を向上させることができる。また、驚くべきことに、本発明においては、化粧塗布膜と水や汗等の水分との接触のみならず、化粧塗布膜が一定の湿度条件下に晒されることによっても、膜厚を増大させる効果および紫外線防御能を向上させる効果が発揮される。
本発明に係る口唇化粧料は、(A)マイクロクリスタリンワックス、キャンデリラロウおよびカルナウバロウから選択される少なくとも1種、(B)ミリスチン酸、パルミチン酸およびステアリン酸から選択される少なくとも1種、および(C)液状炭化水素油を含むことを特徴とする。また、本発明に係る口唇化粧料は油性化粧料や油中水型ないしは水中油型の乳化化粧料に調製することもできる。以下、本発明の口唇化粧料を構成する各成分について詳述する。
<(A)マイクロクリスタリンワックス、キャンデリラロウおよびカルナウバロウから選択される少なくとも1種>
本発明の(A)マイクロクリスタリンワックス、キャンデリラロウおよびカルナウバロウから選択される少なくとも1種(以下、単に「(A)成分」と称する場合がある)とは、マイクロクリスタリンワックス、キャンデリラロウおよびカルナウバロウから選択される1種を単独で用いてもよいし、2種あるいは3種を組み合わせて用いてもよいことを指す。
本発明の(A)マイクロクリスタリンワックス、キャンデリラロウおよびカルナウバロウから選択される少なくとも1種(以下、単に「(A)成分」と称する場合がある)とは、マイクロクリスタリンワックス、キャンデリラロウおよびカルナウバロウから選択される1種を単独で用いてもよいし、2種あるいは3種を組み合わせて用いてもよいことを指す。
マイクロクリスタリンワックスとは、イソパラフィンを主成分とする常温(25℃)で固形の炭化水素であり、化粧料に一般的に配合可能なものであれば特に限定されず用いることが可能であり、マイクロクリスタリンワックスに加え、水添マイクロクリスタリンワックスも含まれる。マイクロクリスタリンワックスとして市販品を使用することもでき、市販品の例として、マイクロクリスタリンワックスP(日興リカ社製)が挙げられる。
キャンデリラロウとは、キャンデリラワックスともいい、トウダイグサ科植物キャンデリラ草(学名:Euphorbia antisyphilitica)の茎から抽出・精製して得られる、常温で固形の植物性固体ロウであり、化粧料に一般的に配合可能なものであれば特に限定されず用いることが可能である。キャンデリラロウとして市販品を使用することもでき、市販品の例として、TOWAX-4F3(東亜化成社製)が挙げられる。
カルナウバロウとは、カルナバワックスともいい、ヤシ科植物カルナウバヤシ(学名:Copernicia Cerifera)の葉の細孔および葉柄の分泌物から得られる、常温で固形の植物性固体ロウであり、化粧料に一般的に配合可能なものであれば特に限定されず用いることが可能である。カルナウバロウとして市販品を使用することもでき、市販品の例として、カルナバワックス(セラリカNODA社製)が挙げられる。
(A)成分の配合量は、化粧料に一般的に配合される量であれば特に限定されず、目的の化粧料の形態および硬度に応じて適宜決定される。例として、下限値は化粧料全量に対して1質量%以上、2質量%以上、3質量%以上、4質量%以上または5質量%以上が挙げられ、上限値は45質量%以下、44質量%以下、43質量%以下、42質量%以下、41質量%以下または40質量%以下が挙げられる。よって、配合量範囲として、例えば1~45質量%、3~42質量%、5~40質量%が挙げられる。配合量が少なすぎると本発明の効果が十分に得られにくく、45質量%を超えると硬くなりすぎて使用性が悪くなる傾向がある。
本発明に係る口唇化粧料は、スティック状、ペースト状、クリーム状等に調製することができる。様々な剤形の口唇化粧料を調製するに際して、使用性および使用感触を向上する観点から、本発明の(A)成分であるマイクロクリスタリンワックス、キャンデリラロウおよびカルナウバロウそれぞれの好ましい配合量は異なる場合がある。例えば、ペースト状に調製する場合には、マイクロクリスタリンワックスの配合量を化粧料全量に対して25~40質量%、キャンデリラロウおよびカルナウバロウの配合量を化粧料全量に対して15質量%以下とするなどして、使用性および使用感触を向上することができる。しかしながら、それぞれのワックスの配合量は、所望の剤形に応じて、適宜決定されるべきものである。
<(B)ミリスチン酸、パルミチン酸およびステアリン酸から選択される少なくとも1種>
本発明の(B)ミリスチン酸、パルミチン酸およびステアリン酸から選択される少なくとも1種(以下、単に「(B)成分」と称する場合がある)とは、ミリスチン酸、パルミチン酸およびステアリン酸から選択される1種を単独で用いてもよいし、2種あるいは3種を組み合わせて用いてもよいことを指す。
本発明の(B)ミリスチン酸、パルミチン酸およびステアリン酸から選択される少なくとも1種(以下、単に「(B)成分」と称する場合がある)とは、ミリスチン酸、パルミチン酸およびステアリン酸から選択される1種を単独で用いてもよいし、2種あるいは3種を組み合わせて用いてもよいことを指す。
ミリスチン酸、パルミチン酸およびステアリン酸としてはそれぞれ、化粧料に一般的に配合可能なものであれば特に限定されないが、常温(25℃)で固形のものを使用することができる。
(B)成分の配合量は、化粧料全量に対して0.9質量%以上であり、好ましくは1質量%以上である。上限値は、化粧料に通常配合される量であれば限定されないが、例えば10質量%以下、9質量%以下、8質量%以下、7質量%以下、6質量%以下または5質量%以下が挙げられる。よって、配合量範囲は、例えば0.9~10質量%、1~9質量%、1~8質量%等が挙げられる。(B)成分の配合量が0.8質量%以下の場合には塗布膜厚の増大効果が得られない。
(B)成分としてステアリン酸を用いた場合、あるいは、(B)成分の配合量を化粧料全量に対して10質量%以上とした場合には、塗布膜に脂肪酸が固形物として析出する状態(いわゆる「ブツ」)が生じやすく、使用性が劣る傾向がある。
よって、使用性を向上する観点から、(B)成分としてはミリスチン酸およびパルミチン酸から選択される少なくとも1種を用い、かつ、配合量を1~7質量%、さらには1~5質量%とするのが好ましい。(B)成分をこの範囲とすると、塗布膜厚を増大させる効果を発揮するとともに、使用性に優れた化粧料を得ることができる。
よって、使用性を向上する観点から、(B)成分としてはミリスチン酸およびパルミチン酸から選択される少なくとも1種を用い、かつ、配合量を1~7質量%、さらには1~5質量%とするのが好ましい。(B)成分をこの範囲とすると、塗布膜厚を増大させる効果を発揮するとともに、使用性に優れた化粧料を得ることができる。
<(C)液状炭化水素油>
本発明の(C)液状炭化水素油(以下、単に「(C)成分」と称する場合がある)は、化粧料に通常配合される常温(25℃)で液状の炭化水素から選択することができる。
(C)液状炭化水素油の具体例としては、流動パラフィン、水添ポリデセン、スクワラン、プリスタン、スクワレン、α-オレフィンオリゴマー、重質イソパラフィン等が挙げられる。なかでも、使用性を向上する観点から、(C)成分として、水添ポリデセンを用いることが好ましい。
本発明の(C)液状炭化水素油(以下、単に「(C)成分」と称する場合がある)は、化粧料に通常配合される常温(25℃)で液状の炭化水素から選択することができる。
(C)液状炭化水素油の具体例としては、流動パラフィン、水添ポリデセン、スクワラン、プリスタン、スクワレン、α-オレフィンオリゴマー、重質イソパラフィン等が挙げられる。なかでも、使用性を向上する観点から、(C)成分として、水添ポリデセンを用いることが好ましい。
(C)成分の配合量は特に制限されず、目的とする化粧料の形態や硬度等に応じて適宜決定されるが、化粧料全量に対して、例えば、下限値は10質量%以上、15質量%以上、20質量%以上、25質量%以上または30質量%以上が挙げられ、上限値は、98質量%以下、97質量%以下、94質量%以下、90質量%以下、85質量%以下または80質量%以下が挙げられる。よって、配合量範囲として、例えば15~98質量%、20~98質量%、25~97質量%、30~94質量%が挙げられる。
本発明に係る口唇化粧料は、水や汗に触れたり、唇を舐めたり、飲み物を飲む等の動作によって塗布膜が水分と接触することにより、膜厚が増大するという効果を発揮する。実際に、白色電子顕微鏡による観察により、本発明の口唇化粧料の塗布直後と比較して水分に接触させた後の方が、塗布膜厚が増大していることが確認された(図1)。
さらに、驚くべきことには、水分と接触させることのみならず、一定の湿度条件下に晒された場合であっても塗布膜厚が増大するという効果が発揮される。よって、ユーザーがマスクを着用するなどして、化粧料が一定の湿度条件下に置かれると、本発明の効果が発揮され、口唇化粧料の化粧もちが向上する。
本発明において前記効果を発揮させるための湿度条件は、温度約30℃で75%以上である。この湿度条件は大気温度下で達成されうる。あるいは、マスクを着用するなどして口唇化粧料の塗布面が布等に覆われることによって前記湿度条件が達成されてもよい。
本発明において、湿度条件により塗布膜厚が増大する効果が十分に発揮されるためには、本発明の(A)成分の配合量を化粧料全量に対して25~40質量%とすることが好ましい。

本発明においては、前記(A)、(B)および(C)成分に加え、本発明の効果を阻害しない範囲内で、他の任意成分を配合して、無水または水を少量(例えば1.5質量%以下)含む油性化粧料や、油中水型ないしは水中油型等の乳化化粧料に調製することができる。剤形としては、油性化粧料の場合には固形(スティック、ペースト)状、クリーム状、ジェル状といった剤型が可能であり、乳化化粧料の場合にはペースト状、クリーム状、ジェル状、液状といった剤形が可能である。
他の任意成分としては、限定されないが、紫外線防御剤、前記(A)成分以外の固形または半固形の油分、前記(C)成分以外の液状油分、粉末成分、ゲル化剤、界面活性剤、水溶性増粘剤、保湿剤、防腐剤、酸化防止剤、高分子、色素、染料、消泡剤(シメチコン等)、各種薬剤(トコフェロール等)、低級アルコール(炭素数6未満)、溶剤、香料などが例示される。
本発明に係る化粧料に紫外線防御剤を配合した場合には、水や汗等の水分との接触によってあるいは一定の湿度条件下に晒されることによって、塗布膜厚の増大に起因した化粧もち向上効果が得られるとともに、化粧塗布膜に含まれる紫外線防御剤が有する紫外線防御能の向上効果も得ることができる。
紫外線防御剤は、化粧料に通常配合される紫外線吸収剤および紫外線散乱剤から選択される1種以上を使用することができる。
紫外線吸収剤の具体例としては、日焼け止め化粧料に通常配合されるものを使用することができ、特に限定されないが、具体例としては、メトキシケイヒ酸エチルヘキシル、オクトクリレン、ジメチコジエチルベンザルマロネート、ポリシリコーン-15、t-ブチルメトキシジベンゾイルメタン、エチルヘキシルトリアゾン、ジエチルアミノヒドロキシベンゾイル安息香酸ヘキシル、ビスエチルヘキシルオキシフェノールメトキシフェニルトリアジン、オキシベンゾン-3、メチレンビスベンゾトリアゾリルテトラメチルブチルフェノール、フェニルベンズイミダゾールスルホン酸、ホモサレート、サリチル酸エチルへキシル、テレフタリリデンジカンフルスルホン酸、ドロメトリゾールトリシロキサン等の有機紫外線吸収剤を挙げることができる。
紫外線吸収剤の具体例としては、日焼け止め化粧料に通常配合されるものを使用することができ、特に限定されないが、具体例としては、メトキシケイヒ酸エチルヘキシル、オクトクリレン、ジメチコジエチルベンザルマロネート、ポリシリコーン-15、t-ブチルメトキシジベンゾイルメタン、エチルヘキシルトリアゾン、ジエチルアミノヒドロキシベンゾイル安息香酸ヘキシル、ビスエチルヘキシルオキシフェノールメトキシフェニルトリアジン、オキシベンゾン-3、メチレンビスベンゾトリアゾリルテトラメチルブチルフェノール、フェニルベンズイミダゾールスルホン酸、ホモサレート、サリチル酸エチルへキシル、テレフタリリデンジカンフルスルホン酸、ドロメトリゾールトリシロキサン等の有機紫外線吸収剤を挙げることができる。
紫外線散乱剤の具体例としては、特に限定されるものではないが、具体例としては、微粒子状の金属酸化物、例えば、酸化亜鉛、酸化チタン、酸化鉄、酸化セリウム、酸化タングステン等を挙げることができる。紫外線散乱剤は、表面処理していないものでも各種疎水化表面処理したものでもよいが、疎水化表面処理をしたものが好ましく用いられる。表面処理剤としては、化粧料分野で汎用されているもの、例えば、ジメチコン、アルキル変性シリコーン等のシリコーン、オクチルトリエトキシシランなどのアルコキシシラン、パルミチン酸デキストリンなどのデキストリン脂肪酸エステル、ステアリン酸などの脂肪酸を用いることができる。
紫外線防御剤の合計配合量は特に限定されないが、通常は化粧料全量に対して5質量%以上、例えば5~40質量%、好ましくは6~40質量%、より好ましくは7~35質量%である。紫外線防御剤の合計配合量が5質量%未満では十分な紫外線防御効果が得られにくく、40質量%を超えて配合しても配合量に見合った紫外線防御効果の増加を期待できず、安定性が悪くなるなどの点から好ましくない。
また、塗布膜厚が増大する効果を十分に発揮させる観点から、紫外線防御剤として紫外線散乱剤を用いる場合には、後述する粉末成分と合わせた合計配合量を、化粧料全量に対して5質量%を超えないように調整することが好ましい。

本発明に係る化粧料に前記(A)成分以外の固形または半固形の油分が配合されてよい。
前記(A)成分以外の固形または半固形の油分としては、化粧料に配合可能なものであれば特に限定されないが、カカオ脂、ヤシ油、硬化ヤシ油、パーム油、シア脂等の固体油脂、ミツロウ、ラノリン、ホホバロウ等のロウ類、ヘキサヒドロキシステアリン酸ジペンタエリスリチル、マカデミアナッツ脂肪酸フィトステリル、テトラ(ベヘン酸/安息香酸/エチルヘキサン酸)ペンタエリスチリル、ダイマージリノイル酸(フィトステリル/ベヘニル)、マカデミアナッツ油ポリグリセリル-6エステルズベヘネート等の半固形のエステル油、ワセリン、ポリオレフィンワックス、オゾケライト、固形パラフィン、合成ワックス等の固形または半固形の炭化水素油が挙げられる。
前記(A)成分以外の固形または半固形の油分としては、化粧料に配合可能なものであれば特に限定されないが、カカオ脂、ヤシ油、硬化ヤシ油、パーム油、シア脂等の固体油脂、ミツロウ、ラノリン、ホホバロウ等のロウ類、ヘキサヒドロキシステアリン酸ジペンタエリスリチル、マカデミアナッツ脂肪酸フィトステリル、テトラ(ベヘン酸/安息香酸/エチルヘキサン酸)ペンタエリスチリル、ダイマージリノイル酸(フィトステリル/ベヘニル)、マカデミアナッツ油ポリグリセリル-6エステルズベヘネート等の半固形のエステル油、ワセリン、ポリオレフィンワックス、オゾケライト、固形パラフィン、合成ワックス等の固形または半固形の炭化水素油が挙げられる。
前記(A)成分以外の固形または半固形の油分の配合量は特に限定されないが、本発明の(A)成分と(A)成分以外の固形または半固形の油分との配合比率(質量比)が、10:0~5:5、好ましくは10:0~7:3である。(A)成分以外の固形または半固形の油分の配合量が多くなると本発明の効果が十分に得られない場合がある。
本発明に係る化粧料に前記(C)成分以外の液状油分が配合されてよい。前記(C)成分以外の液状油分の具体例としては、テトラエチルヘキサン酸ペンタエリスリチル、エチルヘキサン酸セチル、ホホバ油、ラウロイルグルタミン酸ジ(フィトステリル/オクチルドデシル)、トリイソステアリン、ジイソステアリン酸グリセリル、トリエチルヘキサノイン、ダイマージリノール酸(フィトステリル/イソステアリル/セチル/ステアリル/ベヘニル)、パルミチン酸イソプロピル、パルミチン酸エチルヘキシル、ミリスチン酸ミリスチル、ミリスチン酸イソプロピル、ジピバリン酸トリプロピレングリコール、セバシン酸ジイソプロピル、ネオペンタン酸イソデシル等のエステル油、ジメチルポリシロキサン、メチルフェニルポリシロキサン、メチルハイドロジェンポリシロキサン等の鎖状シリコーン油、オクタメチルシクロテトラシロキサン、デカメチルシクロペンタシロキサン、ドデカメチルシクロヘキサシロキサン等の環状シリコーン油、アマニ油、ツバキ油、マカダミアナッツ油、トウモロコシ油、ミンク油、オリーブ油、アボカド油、サザンカ油、ヒマシ油、サフラワー油、ナタネ油、大豆油、落花生油、トリグリセリン、トリオクタン酸グリセリン、トリイソパルミチン酸グリセリン等の液体油脂等が挙げられる。
前記(C)成分以外の液状油分の合計配合量は特に制限されず、目的とする化粧料の形態や硬度等に応じて適宜決定されるが、例えば、化粧料全量に対して0~40質量%または0~55質量%の範囲である。
本発明に係る化粧料に通常化粧料に配合される各種粉末成分が配合されてよい。粉末成分は、使用性の改善および着色等の目的で配合される。
粉末成分としては、例えば、フロキシン(赤色104号)、リソールルビンB(赤色201号)、リソールルビンBCA(赤色202号)、レーキレッドC(赤色203号)、レーキレッドCBA(赤色204号)、リソールレッド(赤色205号)、リソールレッドCA(赤色206号)、リソールレッドBA(赤色207号)、リソールレッドSR(赤色208号)、テトラクロロテトラブロムフルオレッセン(赤色218号)、ブリリアントレーキレッドR(赤色219号)、ディープマルーン(赤色220号)、トルイジンレッド(赤色221号)、テトラブロムフルオレッセン(赤色223号)、パーマトンレッド(赤色228号)、ジブロムフルオレセイン(だいだい色201号)、パーマネントオレンジ(だいだい色203号)、ベンチジンオレンジG(だいだい色204号)、ベンチジンイエローG(黄色205号)、ブリリアントファストスカーレット(赤色404号)、パーマネントレッドF5R(赤色405号)、ハンサオレンジ(だいだい色401号)、タートラジン(黄色4号)、サンセットイエロー(黄色5号)、ハンザイエロー(黄色401号)、ブリリアントブルーFCF(青色1号)、フタロシアニンブルー(青色404号)等の有機顔料、マイカ、セリサイト、タルク、カオリンなどの粘土鉱物の粉砕品、シリカ(無水ケイ酸)、酸化セリウム、シリカ、ステアリン酸亜鉛、合成タルク、硫酸バリウム、オキシ塩化ビスマス、アルミナ、炭酸マグネシウム等の体質顔料、酸化鉄(ベンガラ)、チタン酸鉄、γ-酸化鉄、黄酸化鉄、黄土、黒酸化鉄、カーボン、低次酸化チタン、マンゴバイオレット、コバルトバイオレット、酸化クロム、水酸化クロム、チタン酸コバルト、群青、紺青等の着色顔料、二酸化チタン、酸化亜鉛等の白色顔料、二酸化チタン被覆雲母(雲母チタン)、酸化鉄被覆雲母チタン等の真珠光沢顔料(パール剤)、ポリエチレンテレフタレート・アルミニウム・エポキシ積層末、ポリエチレンテレフタレート・アルミニウム積層末等のラメ剤、鉄含有合成フッ素金雲母、微粒子複合粉体等の機能性顔料が挙げられる。本発明においては、これらのうち1種または2種以上の粉末成分を用いることができ、上記粉末成分は表面処理されていてもよい。
粉末成分としては、例えば、フロキシン(赤色104号)、リソールルビンB(赤色201号)、リソールルビンBCA(赤色202号)、レーキレッドC(赤色203号)、レーキレッドCBA(赤色204号)、リソールレッド(赤色205号)、リソールレッドCA(赤色206号)、リソールレッドBA(赤色207号)、リソールレッドSR(赤色208号)、テトラクロロテトラブロムフルオレッセン(赤色218号)、ブリリアントレーキレッドR(赤色219号)、ディープマルーン(赤色220号)、トルイジンレッド(赤色221号)、テトラブロムフルオレッセン(赤色223号)、パーマトンレッド(赤色228号)、ジブロムフルオレセイン(だいだい色201号)、パーマネントオレンジ(だいだい色203号)、ベンチジンオレンジG(だいだい色204号)、ベンチジンイエローG(黄色205号)、ブリリアントファストスカーレット(赤色404号)、パーマネントレッドF5R(赤色405号)、ハンサオレンジ(だいだい色401号)、タートラジン(黄色4号)、サンセットイエロー(黄色5号)、ハンザイエロー(黄色401号)、ブリリアントブルーFCF(青色1号)、フタロシアニンブルー(青色404号)等の有機顔料、マイカ、セリサイト、タルク、カオリンなどの粘土鉱物の粉砕品、シリカ(無水ケイ酸)、酸化セリウム、シリカ、ステアリン酸亜鉛、合成タルク、硫酸バリウム、オキシ塩化ビスマス、アルミナ、炭酸マグネシウム等の体質顔料、酸化鉄(ベンガラ)、チタン酸鉄、γ-酸化鉄、黄酸化鉄、黄土、黒酸化鉄、カーボン、低次酸化チタン、マンゴバイオレット、コバルトバイオレット、酸化クロム、水酸化クロム、チタン酸コバルト、群青、紺青等の着色顔料、二酸化チタン、酸化亜鉛等の白色顔料、二酸化チタン被覆雲母(雲母チタン)、酸化鉄被覆雲母チタン等の真珠光沢顔料(パール剤)、ポリエチレンテレフタレート・アルミニウム・エポキシ積層末、ポリエチレンテレフタレート・アルミニウム積層末等のラメ剤、鉄含有合成フッ素金雲母、微粒子複合粉体等の機能性顔料が挙げられる。本発明においては、これらのうち1種または2種以上の粉末成分を用いることができ、上記粉末成分は表面処理されていてもよい。
粉末成分の合計配合量は特に限定されない。本発明の効果を十分に発揮させる観点から、合計配合量を、化粧料全量に対して5質量%以下とすることが好ましい。
本発明に係る化粧料に、目的の剤形に応じて適宜ゲル化剤が配合されてよい。ただし、ゲル化剤としてパルミチン酸デキストリンを用いる場合には、本発明の効果を最大限得るために、配合量を、化粧料全量に対して1質量%以下とするのが望ましい。
本発明に係る化粧料を乳化化粧料として調製する場合には界面活性剤が配合されうる。界面活性剤は特に限定されず、油中水型、水中油型等の所望の乳化化粧料に応じて、親油性のものないしは親水性のものが適宜選択される。親油性界面活性剤としては、HLBが7未満の非イオン性界面活性剤を用いるのが好ましく、親水性界面活性剤としては、HLBが7以上の非イオン性界面活性剤を用いるのが好ましい。
HLBが7未満の非イオン性界面活性剤の例としては、モノイソステアリン酸グリセリル、セスキイソステアリン酸グリセリル、モノオレイン酸グリセリル、ジオレイン酸グリセリル、セスキオレイン酸グリセリル等のグリセリン脂肪酸エステル;ジイソステアリン酸ポリグリセリル-2、トリイソステアリン酸ポリグリセリル、ペンタイソステアリン酸デカグリセリル、ペンタオレイン酸デカグリセリル、モノイソステアリン酸ジグリセリル、ジイソステアリン酸ジグリセリル、ジオレイン酸ジグリセリル等のポリグリセリン脂肪酸エステル;モノオレイン酸ソルビタン、モノステアリン酸ソルビタン、トリステアリン酸ソルビタン、トリオレイン酸ソルビタン、イソステアリン酸ソルビタン、セスキイソステアリン酸ソルビタン、セスキオレイン酸ソルビタン等のソルビタン脂肪酸エステル等が挙げられる。
HLBが7以上の非イオン性界面活性剤の例としては、PEG-10水添ヒマシ油等のポリオキシエチレン水添ヒマシ油;モノイソステアリン酸PEG-3グリセリル、モノイソステアリン酸PEG-8グリセリル等のポリオキシエチレン多価アルコール脂肪酸エステル;ジイソステアリン酸ポリグリセリル等のポリグリセリン脂肪酸エステル;モノステアリン酸POE(20)ソルビタン(化粧品成分表示名称:ポリソルベート60)等のポリオキシエチレンソルビタン脂肪酸エステル等が挙げられる。
HLBが7未満の非イオン性界面活性剤の例としては、モノイソステアリン酸グリセリル、セスキイソステアリン酸グリセリル、モノオレイン酸グリセリル、ジオレイン酸グリセリル、セスキオレイン酸グリセリル等のグリセリン脂肪酸エステル;ジイソステアリン酸ポリグリセリル-2、トリイソステアリン酸ポリグリセリル、ペンタイソステアリン酸デカグリセリル、ペンタオレイン酸デカグリセリル、モノイソステアリン酸ジグリセリル、ジイソステアリン酸ジグリセリル、ジオレイン酸ジグリセリル等のポリグリセリン脂肪酸エステル;モノオレイン酸ソルビタン、モノステアリン酸ソルビタン、トリステアリン酸ソルビタン、トリオレイン酸ソルビタン、イソステアリン酸ソルビタン、セスキイソステアリン酸ソルビタン、セスキオレイン酸ソルビタン等のソルビタン脂肪酸エステル等が挙げられる。
HLBが7以上の非イオン性界面活性剤の例としては、PEG-10水添ヒマシ油等のポリオキシエチレン水添ヒマシ油;モノイソステアリン酸PEG-3グリセリル、モノイソステアリン酸PEG-8グリセリル等のポリオキシエチレン多価アルコール脂肪酸エステル;ジイソステアリン酸ポリグリセリル等のポリグリセリン脂肪酸エステル;モノステアリン酸POE(20)ソルビタン(化粧品成分表示名称:ポリソルベート60)等のポリオキシエチレンソルビタン脂肪酸エステル等が挙げられる。
本発明に係る化粧料を水中油型乳化化粧料として調製する場合には、水溶性増粘剤が配合されうる。水溶性増粘剤としては、化粧料に通常使用可能なものであって、特に限定されない。例として、アラビアガム、トラガガントガム、ガラクタン、グアガム、カラギーナン、ペクチン、クインスシード(マルメロ)抽出物、褐藻粉末およびカンテン等の植物系高分子;ヒアルロン酸、ヒアルロン酸ナトリウム、キサンタンガム、デキストランおよびプルラン等の微生物系高分子;デンプン、カルボキシメチルデンプンおよびメチルヒドロキシデンプン等のデンプン類;メチルセルロース、ニトロセルロース、エチルセルロース、メチルヒドロキシプロピルセルロース、ヒドロキシエチルセルロース、セルロース硫酸塩、ヒドロキシプロピルセルロース、カルボキシメチルセルロース、結晶セルロースおよびセルロース末等のセルロース類;ポリビニルアルコール、ポリビニルメチルエーテル、ポリビニルピロリドンおよびカルボキシビニルポリマー等のビニル系高分子;ポリアクリル酸およびその塩およびポリアクリルイミド等のアクリル系高分子;(ジメチルアクリルアミド/アクリロイルジメチルタウリンナトリウム)クロスポリマー、(アクリロイルジメチルタウリンアンモニウム/ビニルピロリドン)コポリマー等のタウレート系高分子;アクリレーツ/ステアレス-20メタクリレート共重合体等のアクリル酸・メタクリル酸アルキル共重合体、アクリレーツ/アクリル酸アルキル(C10-30)クロスポリマー等のアクリレーツ/アクリル酸アルキルクロスポリマー等のアクリレート系高分子;PEG-240/デシルテトラデセス-20/ヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート共重合体等の疎水変性ポリエーテルウレタン;グリチルリチン酸やアルギン酸およびその塩等が挙げられる。
本発明によれば、油溶性被膜剤を配合しなくとも化粧もちに優れる化粧料が得られる。よって、本発明に係る化粧料においては、トリメチルシロキシケイ酸等の油溶性被膜剤の配合量を1質量%以下にすることができる。よって、本発明の化粧料の態様としては、油溶性被膜剤の配合量が1質量%以下である態様、および、油溶性被膜剤を実質的に配合しない態様が含まれる。
本発明の化粧料は、メーキャップ化粧料のみならず各種口唇化粧料として調製することが可能であり、紫外線防御剤を配合した場合には日焼け止め等のスキンケア化粧料として調製することができる。なかでも、本発明の化粧料は、水分と接触することによって、あるいは、一定の湿度条件に晒されることによって膜厚が増大するという効果を発揮するので、リップクリーム、口紅、リップグロス等に調製するのに特に適する。
以下に実施例を挙げて本発明をさらに詳述するが、本発明はこれらにより何ら限定されるものではない。配合量は特記しない限り、その成分が配合される系に対する質量%で示す。
1.白色干渉顕微鏡観察に基づく膜厚評価
下記の組成を有するリップクリームを調製した後、前記リップクリームを試料として、Sプレート(5×5cmのV溝PMMA板、SPFMASTER-PA01)に2mg/cm2の量で計量し、60秒間指で塗布し、15分間乾燥した後、走査型白色干渉法を用いた3次元表面構造解析顕微鏡(走査型白色干渉顕微鏡、zygo社製)にて、膜厚を解析した。

また、前記手順により膜厚を解析したプレートを硬度50~500の水に十分に浸し、30分間そのまま水中で撹拌した(3-1モーターで300rpm)(水浴)。その後、表面の水滴がなくなるまで15~30分程度乾燥させ、再び前記白色干渉顕微鏡にて、膜厚を解析した。
図1に示されるように、試料の塗布膜が水浴前と比較して水浴後に増大していることが確認できた。
下記の組成を有するリップクリームを調製した後、前記リップクリームを試料として、Sプレート(5×5cmのV溝PMMA板、SPFMASTER-PA01)に2mg/cm2の量で計量し、60秒間指で塗布し、15分間乾燥した後、走査型白色干渉法を用いた3次元表面構造解析顕微鏡(走査型白色干渉顕微鏡、zygo社製)にて、膜厚を解析した。

また、前記手順により膜厚を解析したプレートを硬度50~500の水に十分に浸し、30分間そのまま水中で撹拌した(3-1モーターで300rpm)(水浴)。その後、表面の水滴がなくなるまで15~30分程度乾燥させ、再び前記白色干渉顕微鏡にて、膜厚を解析した。
図1に示されるように、試料の塗布膜が水浴前と比較して水浴後に増大していることが確認できた。
2.吸光度測定に基づく膜厚評価
水との接触による塗布膜厚の変化は、紫外線吸収剤が有する紫外線吸収能を指標として用いることにより評価した。具体的には、表1~4および6に示す組成を有するリップクリームを調製した後、前記リップクリームを試料として各試料に対して7質量%のメトキシケイヒ酸エチルヘキシルを添加し、以下に示す方法により吸光度(Abs)変化率を求め、Abs変化率が100%を超える、つまり塗膜における紫外線吸収率が水との接触(水浴)後に増加した場合に、膜厚が増大したものと定義した。
水との接触による塗布膜厚の変化は、紫外線吸収剤が有する紫外線吸収能を指標として用いることにより評価した。具体的には、表1~4および6に示す組成を有するリップクリームを調製した後、前記リップクリームを試料として各試料に対して7質量%のメトキシケイヒ酸エチルヘキシルを添加し、以下に示す方法により吸光度(Abs)変化率を求め、Abs変化率が100%を超える、つまり塗膜における紫外線吸収率が水との接触(水浴)後に増加した場合に、膜厚が増大したものと定義した。
メトキシケイヒ酸エチルヘキシルを配合した各試料(2mg/cm2)を、測定プレート(Sプレート)(5×5cmのV溝PMMA板、SPFMASTER-PA01)に、60秒間指で塗布し、15分間乾燥させた後、その吸光度を日立製作所製U-3500型自記録分光光度計にて測定した。紫外線吸収のないグリセリンをコントロールとし、吸光度(Abs)を以下の式で算出した。この吸光度を水浴前のAbs積算値とした。

3.使用性(ブツの発生)の評価
表3に示す組成を有するリップクリームを試料として、専門パネラーの内腕に塗布し、塗布直後の塗布膜の様子を以下の基準に基づいて評価した。結果は表3に示す。ここで、「ブツ」とは塗布膜に固形物が析出して生じる粒状の塊であり、ブツの発生により使用性が劣る傾向がある。
A:ブツなし
B:わずかにブツあり
C:ブツあり
表3に示す組成を有するリップクリームを試料として、専門パネラーの内腕に塗布し、塗布直後の塗布膜の様子を以下の基準に基づいて評価した。結果は表3に示す。ここで、「ブツ」とは塗布膜に固形物が析出して生じる粒状の塊であり、ブツの発生により使用性が劣る傾向がある。
A:ブツなし
B:わずかにブツあり
C:ブツあり
4.紫外線防御能向上効果の測定
表5に示す組成を有するリップクリームを調製した後、前記リップクリームを試料として各試料(2mg/cm2)を、測定プレート(Sプレート)(5×5cmのV溝PMMA板、SPFMASTER-PA01)に、60秒間指で塗布し、15分間乾燥させた後、その吸光度を日立製作所製U-3500型自記録分光光度計にて測定した。紫外線吸収のないグリセリンをコントロールとし、吸光度(Abs)を以下の式で算出した。この吸光度を水浴前のAbs積算値とした。

<実施例、比較例>
以下、本発明に係る実施例および比較例を挙げる。
下記の表1~5に掲げた組成を有するリップクリーム(以下、化粧料ともいう)を、各例の組成に含まれる油性成分を加熱しながら混合し、得られた混合物を容器に充填して冷却することによって調製した。調製した化粧料についてAbs変化率を求めた。表3については使用性(ブツの発生)も評価した。
以下、本発明に係る実施例および比較例を挙げる。
下記の表1~5に掲げた組成を有するリップクリーム(以下、化粧料ともいう)を、各例の組成に含まれる油性成分を加熱しながら混合し、得られた混合物を容器に充填して冷却することによって調製した。調製した化粧料についてAbs変化率を求めた。表3については使用性(ブツの発生)も評価した。
表1に示されるように、固形油分のなかでも、(A)成分のマイクロクリスタリンワックス、キャンデリラロウおよびカルナウバロウを用いた場合に、Abs変化率が100%を超え、塗布膜厚が増大したことが示された。
表2では、固形油分の配合量が異なるリップクリームを調製した。表2に示されるように、(A)マイクロクリスタリンワックス、キャンデリラロウおよびカルナウバロウの配合量が異なるいずれの化粧料もAbs変化率が100%を超え、塗布膜厚が増大したことが示された。また、表1において本発明の効果を奏さなかった固形油分を組み合わせて配合しても塗布膜厚の増大が得られることが確認できた。
表3では、種々の脂肪酸を配合したリップクリームを調製した。表3に示されるように、脂肪酸のなかでも、(B)ミリスチン酸、パルミチン酸およびステアリン酸を一定量用いた場合に、Abs変化率が100%を超え、塗布膜厚が増大したことが示された。また、脂肪酸を配合しなかった化粧料(比較例6)では膜厚の増大は示さなかった。
一方、脂肪酸の配合量を10質量%以上とした化粧料(実施例27および実施例31)、あるいは、ステアリン酸を用いた化粧料(実施例32)では、塗布膜厚が増大する効果が得られるものの、経時的に固形物が析出した状態(ブツ)が発生し、使用性が劣った。
一方、脂肪酸の配合量を10質量%以上とした化粧料(実施例27および実施例31)、あるいは、ステアリン酸を用いた化粧料(実施例32)では、塗布膜厚が増大する効果が得られるものの、経時的に固形物が析出した状態(ブツ)が発生し、使用性が劣った。
表4では、油分を変えたリップクリームを調製した。表4に示されるように、(C)液状炭化水素油を配合していない化粧料(比較例11および比較例12)では塗布膜厚の増大は見られなかった。一方、液状炭化水素油を配合した化粧料、および、液状炭化水素油に加え他の油分を配合した化粧料のいずれにおいてもAbs変化率が100%を超え、塗布膜厚の増大が得られたことが示された。
表5に示されるように、紫外線吸収剤を配合して調製したリップクリームにおいて、紫外線防御能の向上効果も見られた。
表6では、常法により、本発明の化粧料を油中水型乳化化粧料に調製したリップクリーム(実施例40)と、水中油型乳化化粧料に調製したリップクリーム(実施例41)を示す。いずれの化粧料においてもAbs変化率が100%を超え、塗布膜厚の増大が得られたことが示された。
Claims (6)
- (A)マイクロクリスタリンワックス、キャンデリラロウおよびカルナウバロウから選択される少なくとも1種と、
(B)ミリスチン酸、パルミチン酸およびステアリン酸から選択される少なくとも1種を1質量%以上と、
(C)液状炭化水素油と
を含む、口唇化粧料。 - 前記(A)成分の配合量が、化粧料全量に対して1~45質量%である、請求項1に記載の口唇化粧料。
- 前記(B)成分が、ミリスチン酸およびパルミチン酸から選択される少なくとも1種である、請求項1または2に記載の口唇化粧料。
- 前記(A)成分と前記(A)成分以外の固形または半固形の油分の配合比率(質量比)が、10:0~5:5である、請求項1に記載の口唇化粧料。
- 油性化粧料、水中油型乳化化粧料、または油中水型乳化化粧料である、請求項1に記載の口唇化粧料。
- さらに、紫外線防御剤を含む、請求項1に記載の口唇化粧料。
