本発明の冷却シート製造用粘着剤層組成物の製造方法(以下、場合により単に「粘着剤層組成物の製造方法」という)は、支持体層、粘着剤層、及びライナー層を備える冷却シート製造のための粘着剤層組成物の製造方法であり、
水、ミョウバン、エデト酸ナトリウム、ポリアクリル酸、及びポリアクリル酸中和物を含有する被混合組成物を、混合温度が5~23℃となるように混合して粘着剤層組成物を得る工程を含み、
前記被混合組成物において、
前記水の含有量が前記被混合組成物の全質量に対して69~98.24質量%であり、
前記ミョウバンの含有量が前記被混合組成物の全質量に対して0.18~0.42質量%であり、

本発明に係る支持体層としては、前記粘着剤層を支持し得るものであればよく、例えば、冷却シートの支持体層として公知のものが挙げられる。前記支持体層の厚みとしては、特に制限されるものではないが、冷却シートを貼付する際の作業容易性及び製造容易性の観点からは、5~1,500μmの範囲内であることが好ましく、5~1,000μmの範囲内であることがより好ましい。
本発明に係るライナー層としては、前記粘着剤層を使用時まで保護し得るものであればよく、特に制限されず、例えば、冷却シートのライナー層(「剥離ライナー」ともいう)として公知のものが挙げられる。本発明に係るライナー層としては、例えば、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン等のポリオレフィン;エチレン-酢酸ビニル共重合体、酢酸ビニル-塩化ビニル共重合体、ポリ塩化ビニル等;ナイロン等のポリアミド;ポリエチレンテレフタレート等のポリエステル;セルロース誘導体;ポリウレタン等の合成樹脂や、アルミ、紙等の材質からなるフィルムやシート及びこれらの積層体が挙げられる。このようなライナー層としては、前記粘着剤層から容易に剥離できるように前記粘着剤層と接触する側の面に含シリコーン化合物コートや含フッ素化合物コート等の離型処理が施されたものであることが好ましい。
本発明の粘着剤層組成物の製造方法における被混合組成物は、水、ミョウバン、エデト酸ナトリウム、ポリアクリル酸、及びポリアクリル酸中和物を含有する。
本発明に係る水としては、特に制限されないが、イオン交換、蒸留、濾過等の精製を施された水であることが好ましく、例えば、日本薬局方(第十七改正日本薬局方)に記載の「精製水」を好適に用いることができる。
本発明に係る被混合組成物は、ミョウバンを含有することが必要である。本発明において「ミョウバン」は、1価の陽イオンの硫酸塩と3価の金属イオンの硫酸塩との複塩の総称を示す。前記ミョウバンとしては、カリウムミョウバン、アンモニウムミョウバン、鉄ミョウバンが挙げられ、これらのうちの1種を単独であっても2種以上の混合物であってもよい。これらの中でも、カリウムミョウバンが好ましく、前記カリウムミョウバンとしては、硫酸アルミニウムカリウムが挙げられる。前記硫酸アルミニウムカリウムは、通常、アルミニウムを水酸化カリウムに溶かし、硫酸を加えて生成されるものであり、結晶水の有無によって、単にミョウバンや焼ミョウバンとも呼称される。
本発明に係る被混合組成物は、エデト酸ナトリウムを含有することが必要である。エデト酸ナトリウムは、エチレンジアミン四酢酸二ナトリウム、EDTAナトリウムとも称される。本発明に係る被混合組成物におけるエデト酸ナトリウムの含有量としては、前記被混合組成物の全質量に対して、0.08~0.18質量%であることが必要である。前記エデト酸ナトリウムの含有量が前記下限未満では、得られる粘着剤層において展延ムラが発生したり十分な粘着力が得られにくくなり、他方、前記上限を超えると、得られる粘着剤層において染み出しが発生しやすくなる。また、同様の観点から、前記エデト酸ナトリウムの含有量は前記被混合組成物の全質量に対して0.1~0.17質量%であることがより好ましい。
本発明に係る被混合組成物は、第1の水溶性ポリマーとして、ポリアクリル酸を含有する。本発明に係る被混合組成物におけるポリアクリル酸の含有量としては、前記被混合組成物の全質量に対して、0.5~5質量%であることが好ましく、1~3質量%であることがより好ましい。前記ポリアクリル酸の含有量が前記下限未満では、得られる粘着剤層の硬度が高くなって十分な粘着力が得られなかったりライナーズレが発生しやすくなったりする傾向にあり、他方、前記上限を超えると、得られる粘着剤層の成形性及び保形性の維持によるライナーズレの抑制効果や染み出し発生の抑制効果が低下する傾向にある。
本発明に係る被混合組成物としては、本発明の効果を阻害しない範囲内で、前記以外の他の成分をさらに含有していてもよい。このような他の成分としては、例えば、界面活性剤、防腐剤、清涼化剤、湿潤剤(保湿剤)、充填剤(賦形剤)、着色剤、有機酸(例えば、酒石酸)が挙げられ、これらのうちの1種を単独であっても2種以上の混合物であってもよい。
本発明の粘着剤層組成物の製造方法においては、前記被混合組成物を、混合温度が5~23℃となるように混合して粘着剤層組成物を得る。
本発明の冷却シートの製造方法は、本発明の粘着剤層組成物の製造方法で得られた粘着剤層組成物を用いて冷却シートを得る方法であり、
本発明の粘着剤層組成物の製造方法で粘着剤層組成物を得る工程;

各実施例及び各比較例において、被混合組成物を混合直後(混合機を停止して5分以内)の温度(粘着剤層組成物の温度)を、温度計(半固形物・液体一般用温度センサ、安立計器株式会社製、AP-400K)を用いて測定し、混合温度(℃)とした。
各実施例及び各比較例において得られた冷却シートのライナー層を剥離して粘着剤層の性状(均一性)を目視にて確認し、以下の評価スコア:
0:粘着剤層の全面(面積:95%以上)において表面及び厚さが均一で展延ムラがない
1:粘着剤層の一部(面積:5%を超えて50%未満)において表面及び/又は厚さが均一でなく、展延ムラが確認される
2:粘着剤層の大部分又は全面(面積:50%以上)において表面及び/又は厚さが均一でなく、展延ムラが確認される
に準拠して評価した。評価は、それぞれ3枚の冷却シートについて同様に行い、スコアの平均値を評価結果とし、スコア(平均値)が0を許容と判定した。

先ず、ポリビニルアルコール4.00質量部、ポリアクリル酸1.92質量部、ポリアクリル酸ナトリウム部分中和物4.58質量部、濃グリセリン15.00質量部、カルボキシメチルセルロースナトリウム1.00質量部、硫酸アルミニウムカリウム0.24質量部、エデト酸ナトリウム0.15質量部、モノオレイン酸ポリエチレングリコール(エチレンオキシ基平均付加モル数:6(6EO))0.30質量部、精製水72.3775質量部、及びその他の成分(酒石酸、l-メントール、パラオキシ安息香酸メチル、パラオキシ安息香酸プロピル、青色1号)0.4325質量部をそれぞれ秤取し、被混合組成物とした。混合機を用いて、混合温度が23℃以下となるように冷却しながら、前記被混合組成物を均一になるまで混合し、表1に記載の組成の粘着剤層組成物を得た。ライナー層(剥離処理されたポリエステル製フィルム)の面上に、単位面積あたり質量が1,900g/m2となるように得られた粘着剤層組成物を展延して粘着剤層を形成した後、前記粘着剤層のライナー層と反対の面上に支持体層(ポリエチレンテレフタレート製不織布、目付:100g/m2)を貼り合わせ、5cm×11cmの大きさに裁断して冷却シートを得た。
硫酸アルミニウムカリウムに代えて、架橋剤として、メタケイ酸アルミン酸マグネシウム(比較例1)、ジヒドロキシアルミニウムアミノアセテート(比較例2)、又はケイ酸アルミニウム(比較例3)をそれぞれ用いたこと以外は実施例1と同様にして、各冷却シートを得た。
硫酸アルミニウムカリウム及びエデト酸ナトリウムの含有量を変更し、各被混合組成物の組成をそれぞれ下記の表2~表3に示す組成としたこと以外は実施例1と同様にして、各冷却シートを得た。
各被混合組成物の組成及び混合温度をそれぞれ下記の表4に示す組成及び温度となるようにしたこと以外は実施例1と同様にして、各冷却シートを得た。
ポリアクリル酸ナトリウム部分中和物の量を変更し、各被混合組成物の組成をそれぞれ下記の表5に示す組成としたこと以外は実施例1と同様にして、各冷却シートを得た。
ポリアクリル酸又はポリアクリル酸ナトリウム部分中和物に代えて、ゼラチン(比較例12、14)又はキサンタンガム(比較例13、15)をそれぞれ用いたこと以外は実施例1と同様にして、各冷却シートを得た。
Claims (10)
- 支持体層、粘着剤層、及びライナー層を備える冷却シート製造のための粘着剤層組成物の製造方法であり、
水、ミョウバン、エデト酸ナトリウム、ポリアクリル酸、及びポリアクリル酸中和物を含有する被混合組成物を、混合温度が5~23℃となるように混合して粘着剤層組成物を得る工程を含み、
前記被混合組成物において、
前記水の含有量が前記被混合組成物の全質量に対して69~98.24質量%であり、
前記ミョウバンの含有量が前記被混合組成物の全質量に対して0.18~0.42質量%であり、
前記エデト酸ナトリウムの含有量が前記被混合組成物の全質量に対して0.08~0.18質量%であり、かつ、
前記ミョウバンの含有量と前記エデト酸ナトリウムの含有量との質量比(ミョウバンの含有量:エデト酸ナトリウムの含有量)が1:1~5.25:1である、
冷却シート製造用粘着剤層組成物の製造方法。 - 前記被混合組成物がポリビニルアルコールをさらに含有する、請求項1に記載の冷却シート製造用粘着剤層組成物の製造方法。
- 前記被混合組成物がカルボキシメチルセルロースナトリウムをさらに含有する、請求項1又は2に記載の冷却シート製造用粘着剤層組成物の製造方法。
- 前記被混合組成物において、前記ポリアクリル酸中和物の含有量が前記被混合組成物の全質量に対して1~10質量%である、請求項1~3のうちのいずれか一項に記載の冷却シート製造用粘着剤層組成物の製造方法。
- 支持体層、粘着剤層、及びライナー層を備える冷却シートの製造方法であり、
請求項1~4のうちのいずれか一項に記載の製造方法で粘着剤層組成物を得る工程;
前記粘着剤層組成物を成形して前記粘着剤層を得る工程;
を含み、
前記粘着剤層が、水、ミョウバン、エデト酸ナトリウム、ポリアクリル酸、及びポリアクリル酸中和物を含有しており、
前記粘着剤層において、
前記水の含有量が前記粘着剤層の全質量に対して69~98.24質量%であり、
前記ミョウバンの含有量が前記粘着剤層の全質量に対して0.18~0.42質量%であり、
前記エデト酸ナトリウムの含有量が前記粘着剤層の全質量に対して0.08~0.18質量%であり、かつ、
前記ミョウバンの含有量と前記エデト酸ナトリウムの含有量との質量比(ミョウバンの含有量:エデト酸ナトリウムの含有量)が1:1~5.25:1である、
冷却シートの製造方法。 - 前記粘着剤層の質量が1,500~2,300g/m2である、請求項5に記載の冷却シートの製造方法。
- 支持体層、粘着剤層、及びライナー層を備える冷却シートであり、
前記粘着剤層が、水、ミョウバン、エデト酸ナトリウム、ポリアクリル酸、及びポリアクリル酸中和物を含有しており、
前記粘着剤層において、
前記水の含有量が前記粘着剤層の全質量に対して69~98.24質量%であり、
前記ミョウバンの含有量が前記粘着剤層の全質量に対して0.18~0.42質量%であり、
前記エデト酸ナトリウムの含有量が前記粘着剤層の全質量に対して0.08~0.18質量%であり、かつ、
前記ミョウバンの含有量と前記エデト酸ナトリウムの含有量との質量比(ミョウバンの含有量:エデト酸ナトリウムの含有量)が1:1~5.25:1であり、
前記粘着剤層を形成した粘着剤層組成物の混合温度が5~23℃である、
冷却シート。 - 前記粘着剤層がポリビニルアルコールをさらに含有する、請求項7に記載の冷却シート。
- 前記粘着剤層がカルボキシメチルセルロースナトリウムをさらに含有する、請求項7又は8に記載の冷却シート。
- 前記粘着剤層の質量が1,500~2,300g/m2である、請求項7~9のうちのいずれか一項に記載の冷却シート。
