Definitions
- the present invention relates to a composite structural panel for use in furniture manufacturing that is formed from stiffeners and plastic sheets.
- Solid wood panels and curved wood panels are commonly used materials in the furniture manufacturing industry, such as seat panels and backrests for tables and chairs, horizontal and vertical partitions for bookshelves or cabinets, and drawer panels.
- seat panels and backrests for tables and chairs such as seat panels and backrests for tables and chairs, horizontal and vertical partitions for bookshelves or cabinets, and drawer panels.
- the use of these materials consumes a large amount of wood, and the use and service life are also limited.
- Plastic sheets can be produced by injection molding or blow molding. Injection molded plastic sheets typically have only limited strength. Although the blow molded plastic sheet has a simple appearance and is easy to clean, the formed blow molded sheet is relatively thick. Especially for larger furniture products, the blow molding plate has a long production cycle and low production efficiency. In addition, larger blown panels also require very large molds and blow molding machines for performing complex production processes. Therefore, the production cost of blown plastic sheets is relatively high. Directly machined metal sheets are also used in the manufacture of furniture. However, the surface of the machined metal sheet has a single color and texture, and has limitations in use.
- the inventor of the present application disclosed in its Chinese invention patent CN 102987726B a desktop board comprising a three-layer structure, which in turn is a panel, a reinforcing plate and a reinforcing frame disposed therebetween, wherein the reinforcing frame
- the pipe is bent by a square cross section, and is supported by an annular cavity formed at the periphery of the panel and the reinforcing plate, and overlaps with the panel, the reinforcing plate and the upper and lower flanges formed on the both sides. Match to achieve the limit.
- Such a composite panel requires bending the perimeter of the panel and the reinforcing panel separately to thereby form an annular cavity therebetween, and then inserting the reinforcing frame into the cavity, thereby requiring the cooperation of three different components.
- the processing process is complicated and costly, and the combination of these three components needs to be further enhanced in strength.
- the present invention provides a composite structural panel comprising: a panel having a body portion substantially in the same plane and a peripheral portion bent downwardly from the body portion to surround the body portion, the panel An upper surface and a lower surface; a substantially uniform distribution of integrally formed plurality of raised bottom plates, a lower surface of the panel attached and supported on a top surface of the protrusion; and a peripheral portion of the panel
- the bottom plate is fixedly coupled to the reinforcing member, wherein at least a portion of the reinforcing member is fixedly coupled to the bottom plate, and at least another portion of the reinforcing member is fixedly coupled to at least a portion of a lower surface of the peripheral portion of the panel .
- the composite structural panel for use in furniture comprises an integral plastic sheet, the reinforcement member is formed from at least one sheet metal sheet, and the plastic panel and the bottom panel and the reinforcement member can be joined by an adhesive or other process after molding. Together.
