Abstract
本発明は、熱時接着強度が高く、且つ、耐久性に優れる、反応性ホットメルト接着剤の提供を目的とする。本発明は、ポリオールとポリイソシアネートとで形成されるウレタンプレポリマーと、熱可塑性ポリ(メタ)アクリル樹脂とを含有し、上記ポリオールが、ポリプロピレングリコール及びポリエチレングリコールを含む2官能ポリオール、3官能ポリオール、並びに、ガラス転移温度が20~60℃であるポリエステルポリオールを含む、反応性ホットメルト接着剤である。
Description
本発明は反応性ホットメルト接着剤に関する。
従来、建築物、自動車などの組み立てにおいて、部材を接着させるために、反応性ホットメルト接着剤が使用されている。
反応性ホットメルト接着剤は、反応性及びホットメルト性(熱で溶融する性質)を有する接着剤である。反応性ホットメルト接着剤は、反応性を有することによって、反応性ホットメルト接着剤自体が硬化する、及び/又は、基材と反応若しくは相互作用することができる。
これまでに、種々の反応性ホットメルト接着剤が提案されている(例えば、特許文献1、2)。
反応性ホットメルト接着剤は、反応性及びホットメルト性(熱で溶融する性質)を有する接着剤である。反応性ホットメルト接着剤は、反応性を有することによって、反応性ホットメルト接着剤自体が硬化する、及び/又は、基材と反応若しくは相互作用することができる。
これまでに、種々の反応性ホットメルト接着剤が提案されている(例えば、特許文献1、2)。
このようななか、本発明者は特許文献1又は2を参考にして、ポリエステルポリオール又は3官能ポリオールを用いずに製造されたウレタンプレポリマーを含有する反応性ホットメルト接着剤を調製した。また、上記反応性ホットメルト接着剤について、熱時接着強度(高温条件下における接着強度)、及び、耐久性(長期間外気にさらされることを想定した、高温又は水に対する耐久試験後の接着性)を評価した。
その結果、上記のような反応性ホットメルト接着剤は、昨今要求されている、熱時接着強度及び耐久性のレベルを満足しない場合があることが明らかとなった(比較例1~3)。
そこで、本発明は、熱時接着強度が高く、且つ、耐久性に優れる反応性ホットメルト接着剤を提供することを目的とする。
その結果、上記のような反応性ホットメルト接着剤は、昨今要求されている、熱時接着強度及び耐久性のレベルを満足しない場合があることが明らかとなった(比較例1~3)。
そこで、本発明は、熱時接着強度が高く、且つ、耐久性に優れる反応性ホットメルト接着剤を提供することを目的とする。
本発明者は、上記課題を解決すべく鋭意研究した結果、反応性ホットメルト接着剤が、ポリオールとポリイソシアネートとで形成されるウレタンプレポリマーと、熱可塑性ポリ(メタ)アクリル樹脂とを含有し、上記ポリオールが、ポリプロピレングリコール及びポリエチレングリコールを含む2官能ポリオール、3官能ポリオール、並びに、ガラス転移温度が20~60℃であるポリエステルポリオールを含むことによって、所望の効果が得られることを見出し、本発明に至った。
本発明は上記知見等に基づくものであり、具体的には以下の構成により上記課題を解決するものである。

1. ポリオールとポリイソシアネートとで形成されるウレタンプレポリマーと、
熱可塑性ポリ(メタ)アクリル樹脂とを含有し、
上記ポリオールが、ポリプロピレングリコール及びポリエチレングリコールを含む2官能ポリオール、
3官能ポリオール、並びに、
ガラス転移温度が20~60℃であるポリエステルポリオールを含む、反応性ホットメルト接着剤。
2. 上記2官能ポリオールが、さらに、ポリテトラメチレングリコールを含む、上記1に記載の反応性ホットメルト接着剤。
3. 上記熱可塑性ポリ(メタ)アクリル樹脂のガラス転移温度が、40~80℃であり、
上記熱可塑性ポリ(メタ)アクリル樹脂の重量平均分子量が、2万~10万である、上記1又は2に記載の反応性ホットメルト接着剤。
4. さらに、反応触媒を含有する、上記1~3のいずれかに記載の反応性ホットメルト接着剤。
5. 上記ウレタンプレポリマーを形成する上記3官能ポリオールの量が、上記ウレタンプレポリマー100質量部に対して、5~40質量部である、上記1~4のいずれかに記載の反応性ホットメルト接着剤。
6. 上記熱可塑性ポリ(メタ)アクリル樹脂の含有量が、上記ウレタンプレポリマー100質量部に対して、5~30質量部である、上記1~5のいずれかに記載の反応性ホットメルト接着剤。
熱可塑性ポリ(メタ)アクリル樹脂とを含有し、
上記ポリオールが、ポリプロピレングリコール及びポリエチレングリコールを含む2官能ポリオール、
3官能ポリオール、並びに、
ガラス転移温度が20~60℃であるポリエステルポリオールを含む、反応性ホットメルト接着剤。

3. 上記熱可塑性ポリ(メタ)アクリル樹脂のガラス転移温度が、40~80℃であり、
上記熱可塑性ポリ(メタ)アクリル樹脂の重量平均分子量が、2万~10万である、上記1又は2に記載の反応性ホットメルト接着剤。
4. さらに、反応触媒を含有する、上記1~3のいずれかに記載の反応性ホットメルト接着剤。
5. 上記ウレタンプレポリマーを形成する上記3官能ポリオールの量が、上記ウレタンプレポリマー100質量部に対して、5~40質量部である、上記1~4のいずれかに記載の反応性ホットメルト接着剤。
6. 上記熱可塑性ポリ(メタ)アクリル樹脂の含有量が、上記ウレタンプレポリマー100質量部に対して、5~30質量部である、上記1~5のいずれかに記載の反応性ホットメルト接着剤。
本発明の反応性ホットメルト接着剤は、熱時接着強度が高く、且つ、耐久性に優れる。
本発明について以下詳細に説明する。
なお、本明細書において、(メタ)アクリレートはアクリレートまたはメタクリレートを表し、(メタ)アクリロイルはアクリロイルまたはメタクリロイルを表し、(メタ)アクリルはアクリルまたはメタクリルを表す。
また、本明細書において「~」を用いて表される数値範囲は、「~」の前後に記載される数値を下限値および上限値として含む範囲を意味する。
本明細書において、特に断りのない限り、各成分はその成分に該当する物質をそれぞれ単独でまたは2種以上を組み合わせて使用することができる。成分が2種以上の物質を含む場合、成分の含有量は、2種以上の物質の合計の含有量を意味する。
本明細書において、使用される各成分はその製造方法について特に制限されない。例えば、従来公知のものが挙げられる。
本発明において、2官能ポリオール、3官能ポリオール、ガラス転移温度が20~60℃であるポリエステルポリオール、又は、熱可塑性ポリ(メタ)アクリル樹脂の重量平均分子量は、テトラヒドロフラン(THF)を溶媒とするゲルパーミエーションクロマトグラフィー(GPC)による測定値をもとにした標準ポリスチレン換算値である。
本発明において、ガラス転移温度が20~60℃であるポリエステルポリオール、又は、熱可塑性ポリ(メタ)アクリル樹脂のガラス転移温度は、JIS K7121-1987「プラスチックの転移温度測定方法」(示差走査熱量測定(DSC))に準じて測定された。
なお、本明細書において、(メタ)アクリレートはアクリレートまたはメタクリレートを表し、(メタ)アクリロイルはアクリロイルまたはメタクリロイルを表し、(メタ)アクリルはアクリルまたはメタクリルを表す。
また、本明細書において「~」を用いて表される数値範囲は、「~」の前後に記載される数値を下限値および上限値として含む範囲を意味する。
本明細書において、特に断りのない限り、各成分はその成分に該当する物質をそれぞれ単独でまたは2種以上を組み合わせて使用することができる。成分が2種以上の物質を含む場合、成分の含有量は、2種以上の物質の合計の含有量を意味する。
本明細書において、使用される各成分はその製造方法について特に制限されない。例えば、従来公知のものが挙げられる。
本発明において、2官能ポリオール、3官能ポリオール、ガラス転移温度が20~60℃であるポリエステルポリオール、又は、熱可塑性ポリ(メタ)アクリル樹脂の重量平均分子量は、テトラヒドロフラン(THF)を溶媒とするゲルパーミエーションクロマトグラフィー(GPC)による測定値をもとにした標準ポリスチレン換算値である。
本発明において、ガラス転移温度が20~60℃であるポリエステルポリオール、又は、熱可塑性ポリ(メタ)アクリル樹脂のガラス転移温度は、JIS K7121-1987「プラスチックの転移温度測定方法」(示差走査熱量測定(DSC))に準じて測定された。
[反応性ホットメルト接着剤]
本発明の反応性ホットメルト接着剤(本発明の接着剤)は、
ポリオールとポリイソシアネートとで形成されるウレタンプレポリマーと、
熱可塑性ポリ(メタ)アクリル樹脂とを含有し、
上記ポリオールが、ポリプロピレングリコール及びポリエチレングリコールを含む2官能ポリオール、
3官能ポリオール、並びに、
ガラス転移温度が20~60℃であるポリエステルポリオールを含む、反応性ホットメルト接着剤である。
本発明の反応性ホットメルト接着剤(本発明の接着剤)は、
ポリオールとポリイソシアネートとで形成されるウレタンプレポリマーと、
熱可塑性ポリ(メタ)アクリル樹脂とを含有し、
上記ポリオールが、ポリプロピレングリコール及びポリエチレングリコールを含む2官能ポリオール、
3官能ポリオール、並びに、
ガラス転移温度が20~60℃であるポリエステルポリオールを含む、反応性ホットメルト接着剤である。
本発明の接着剤はこのような構成をとるため、所望の効果が得られるものと考えられる。その理由は明らかではないが、およそ以下のとおりと推測される。
本発明に含有されるウレタンプレポリマーを形成するポリオールの1種として、所定の範囲のガラス転移温度を有するポリエステルポリオールを使用することによって、本発明の接着剤に粘り(柔軟性)が付与されると考えられる。
また、本発明に含有されるウレタンプレポリマーを形成するポリオールの1種として、3官能ポリオールを使用することによって、硬化後の本発明の接着剤に三次元の網目架橋が生じる。
本発明の接着剤は、上記粘り及び上記網目架橋の両方を兼ね備えるため、熱時接着強度が高く、且つ、耐久性(長期間、高温又は水が存在する条件下にさらされた後の接着性)に優れると考えられる。
以下、本発明の接着剤に含有される各成分について詳述する。
本発明に含有されるウレタンプレポリマーを形成するポリオールの1種として、所定の範囲のガラス転移温度を有するポリエステルポリオールを使用することによって、本発明の接着剤に粘り(柔軟性)が付与されると考えられる。
また、本発明に含有されるウレタンプレポリマーを形成するポリオールの1種として、3官能ポリオールを使用することによって、硬化後の本発明の接着剤に三次元の網目架橋が生じる。
本発明の接着剤は、上記粘り及び上記網目架橋の両方を兼ね備えるため、熱時接着強度が高く、且つ、耐久性(長期間、高温又は水が存在する条件下にさらされた後の接着性)に優れると考えられる。
以下、本発明の接着剤に含有される各成分について詳述する。
<<ウレタンプレポリマー>>
本発明の接着剤は、ポリプロピレングリコール及びポリエチレングリコールを含む2官能ポリオール、3官能ポリオール、並びに、ガラス転移温度が20~60℃であるポリエステルポリオールを含むポリオールと、ポリイソシアネートとで形成されるウレタンプレポリマーを含有する。ウレタンプレポリマーは、末端にイソシアネート基を有することができる。
本発明の接着剤は、ポリプロピレングリコール及びポリエチレングリコールを含む2官能ポリオール、3官能ポリオール、並びに、ガラス転移温度が20~60℃であるポリエステルポリオールを含むポリオールと、ポリイソシアネートとで形成されるウレタンプレポリマーを含有する。ウレタンプレポリマーは、末端にイソシアネート基を有することができる。
本発明において、2官能ポリオールは、1分子あたり、ヒドロキシ基を2個有する化合物を意味する。
3官能ポリオールは、1分子あたり、ヒドロキシ基を3個有する化合物を意味する。
ポリエステルポリオールは、複数のエステル結合及び複数のヒドロキシ基を有する化合物を意味する。
3官能ポリオールは、1分子あたり、ヒドロキシ基を3個有する化合物を意味する。
ポリエステルポリオールは、複数のエステル結合及び複数のヒドロキシ基を有する化合物を意味する。
<2官能ポリオール>
上記ウレタンプレポリマーを形成する2官能ポリオールは、少なくとも、ポリプロピレングリコール及びポリエチレングリコールを含む。

上記ウレタンプレポリマーを形成する上記3官能ポリオールの量は、作業性に優れる(具体的には例えば、初期粘度及び/又は老化後増粘率が低い。)という観点から、上記ウレタンプレポリマー100質量部に対して、5~40質量部が好ましく、15~35質量部がより好ましい。
なお、本発明において、上記ウレタンプレポリマーを形成するポリオールに含まれる各成分(ポリプロピレングリコール、ポリエチレングリコール、3官能ポリオール、ポリエステルポリオール等)の量は、ウレタンプレポリマーを製造する際に使用される各成分の量が反映されるものとする。上記ウレタンプレポリマーを形成するポリイソシアネートの量についても同様である。

上記ポリイソシアネートが有する上記イソシアネート基と上記ポリオールが有するヒドロキシ基との当量比(イソシアネート基/ヒドロキシル基)は、1.1~3.0が好ましく、1.2~2.0がより好ましい。
<<熱可塑性ポリ(メタ)アクリル樹脂>>
本発明の接着剤に含有される熱可塑性(メタ)アクリル樹脂は、熱可塑性であり、(メタ)アクリロイル基又は(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基を有するモノマーを少なくとも含む単量体を重合させることによって形成されるポリマーであれば、特に制限されない。
本発明の接着剤は熱可塑性(メタ)アクリル樹脂を含有することによって、初期段階において高い接着性を発現させることができる。
本発明の接着剤に含有される熱可塑性(メタ)アクリル樹脂は、熱可塑性であり、(メタ)アクリロイル基又は(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基を有するモノマーを少なくとも含む単量体を重合させることによって形成されるポリマーであれば、特に制限されない。
本発明の接着剤は熱可塑性(メタ)アクリル樹脂を含有することによって、初期段階において高い接着性を発現させることができる。
本発明において、熱可塑性(メタ)アクリル樹脂の熱可塑性は、室温条件下では固体であり、加熱によって軟化する性質を意味する。
熱可塑性(メタ)アクリル樹脂を形成しうる(メタ)アクリルモノマーとしては、例えば、(メタ)アクリレート系モノマー、酸官能基含有(メタ)アクリル系モノマー、第3級アミン含有(メタ)アクリル系モノマー、ヒドロキシ基含有(メタ)アクリル系モノマー、(メタ)アクリルアミド系モノマーが挙げられる。
上記(メタ)アクリルモノマー以外に使用できる、エチレン性不飽和結合を有する単量体は特に制限されない。例えば、スチレン等が挙げられる。
熱可塑性(メタ)アクリル樹脂は単独重合体、共重合体のいずれであってもよい。
熱可塑性(メタ)アクリル樹脂は熱可塑性ポリアクリル樹脂が好ましい態様の1つとして挙げられる。
上記(メタ)アクリルモノマー以外に使用できる、エチレン性不飽和結合を有する単量体は特に制限されない。例えば、スチレン等が挙げられる。

本発明の接着剤の製造方法は、特に限定されず、例えば、ウレタンプレポリマーを形成するためのポリオール及び熱可塑性(メタ)アクリル樹脂を120℃で減圧下で攪拌して、上記ポリオールと上記熱可塑性(メタ)アクリル樹脂との混合物を脱水し、次に、100~120℃(具体的には例えば120℃)の条件下で、脱水後の混合物に、ウレタンプレポリマーを形成するためのポリイソシアネートを添加し、反応させることによって、上記ポリオール及び上記ポリイソシアネートで形成されたウレタンプレポリマーと熱可塑性(メタ)アクリル樹脂とを含有する本発明の接着剤を製造できる。
上記本発明の接着剤に必要に応じて更に、反応触媒、添加剤を加えて混合してもよい。
本発明の接着剤の製造方法は、特に限定されず、例えば、ウレタンプレポリマーを形成するためのポリオール及び熱可塑性(メタ)アクリル樹脂を120℃で減圧下で攪拌して、上記ポリオールと上記熱可塑性(メタ)アクリル樹脂との混合物を脱水し、次に、100~120℃(具体的には例えば120℃)の条件下で、脱水後の混合物に、ウレタンプレポリマーを形成するためのポリイソシアネートを添加し、反応させることによって、上記ポリオール及び上記ポリイソシアネートで形成されたウレタンプレポリマーと熱可塑性(メタ)アクリル樹脂とを含有する本発明の接着剤を製造できる。
上記本発明の接着剤に必要に応じて更に、反応触媒、添加剤を加えて混合してもよい。

以下に実施例を示して本発明を具体的に説明する。ただし本発明はこれらに限定されない。
<反応性ホットメルト接着剤の製造>
(ウレタンプレポリマーの調製)
第1表のウレタンプレポリマーの欄に示す各成分(ポリイソシアネート、反応触媒を除く。)及び熱可塑性(メタ)アクリル樹脂を同表に示す量(質量部)で反応容器に仕込み、120℃で減圧下2時間攪拌して、ポリオールと熱可塑性(メタ)アクリル樹脂との混合物を脱水した。
次に、120℃の条件下で、脱水後の混合物に、第1表のウレタンプレポリマーの欄に示すポリイソシアネートを同表に示す量(質量部)で添加し、常圧下で1時間30分攪拌して(反応触媒を添加する場合は、ここで添加しさらに30分攪拌混合する)、ウレタンプレポリマーと熱可塑性(メタ)アクリル樹脂との混合物(反応性ホットメルト接着剤)を製造した。なお、上記ウレタンプレポリマーは、末端にイソシアネート基を有する。
<反応性ホットメルト接着剤の製造>
(ウレタンプレポリマーの調製)
第1表のウレタンプレポリマーの欄に示す各成分(ポリイソシアネート、反応触媒を除く。)及び熱可塑性(メタ)アクリル樹脂を同表に示す量(質量部)で反応容器に仕込み、120℃で減圧下2時間攪拌して、ポリオールと熱可塑性(メタ)アクリル樹脂との混合物を脱水した。
次に、120℃の条件下で、脱水後の混合物に、第1表のウレタンプレポリマーの欄に示すポリイソシアネートを同表に示す量(質量部)で添加し、常圧下で1時間30分攪拌して(反応触媒を添加する場合は、ここで添加しさらに30分攪拌混合する)、ウレタンプレポリマーと熱可塑性(メタ)アクリル樹脂との混合物(反応性ホットメルト接着剤)を製造した。なお、上記ウレタンプレポリマーは、末端にイソシアネート基を有する。
<評価>
上記のとおり製造された反応性ホットメルト接着剤を用いて以下の評価を行った。結果を第1表に示す。

・初期粘度@120℃
ブルックフィールド粘度計(ブルックスフィールド社製DV2T粘度計、No.27ローター、回転数2.5rpm)を用いて120℃の条件下で上記のとおり製造された各反応性ホットメルト接着剤の溶融粘度を測定した。
具体的には、各反応性ホットメルト接着剤を予め120℃に加温し、粘度計カップに11g秤量した。上記粘度計カップを粘度計にセットし120℃で15分加温後ローターをセットしさらに15分加温する。その後測定を開始し、2分後の数値を初期粘度とした。
ブルックフィールド粘度計(ブルックスフィールド社製DV2T粘度計、No.27ローター、回転数2.5rpm)を用いて120℃の条件下で上記のとおり製造された各反応性ホットメルト接着剤の溶融粘度を測定した。

(初期サンプルの調製)
上記のとおり製造された各反応性ホットメルト接着剤を120℃で溶融し、これを幅2.5cm、長さ5cm、厚さ2mmの、プラズマ処理されたポリプロピレンに塗布した。反応性ホットメルト接着剤が塗布されたポリプロピレンは、接着面積が幅2.5cm、長さ1cm、ラップ面での反応性ホットメルト接着剤の厚さ2mmとなるように幅2.5cm、長さ5cmのポリカーボネートと圧着し、試験片とした。
試験片を20℃、50%RHの条件下で1時間養生させ、初期サンプルとした。

上記のとおり製造された各反応性ホットメルト接着剤を120℃で溶融し、これを幅2.5cm、長さ5cm、厚さ2mmの、プラズマ処理されたポリプロピレンに塗布した。反応性ホットメルト接着剤が塗布されたポリプロピレンは、接着面積が幅2.5cm、長さ1cm、ラップ面での反応性ホットメルト接着剤の厚さ2mmとなるように幅2.5cm、長さ5cmのポリカーボネートと圧着し、試験片とした。
試験片を20℃、50%RHの条件下で1時間養生させ、初期サンプルとした。
(初期剪断強度の測定)
上記のとおり得られた各初期サンプルを用いて、引張速度50mm/分で、20℃の条件下で、各初期サンプルの初期剪断強度を測定した。
結果を「初期(20℃×1hr後)@20℃」の欄に示す。

結果を「初期(20℃×1hr後)@20℃」の欄に示す。
・養生後の剪断強度
(養生サンプルの調製)
上記のとおり得られた初期サンプルを20℃、55%RHの条件下に7日間養生させて、養生サンプルを得た。
(養生サンプルの剪断強度の測定)
上記養生サンプルを用いて、引張速度50mm/分で、20℃又は120℃の条件下で、各養生サンプルの剪断強度を測定した。
それぞれの結果を「養生(20℃×7日)後@20℃」及び「養生(20℃×7日)後@120℃」の欄に示す。
(養生サンプルの調製)
上記のとおり得られた初期サンプルを20℃、55%RHの条件下に7日間養生させて、養生サンプルを得た。
(養生サンプルの剪断強度の測定)
上記養生サンプルを用いて、引張速度50mm/分で、20℃又は120℃の条件下で、各養生サンプルの剪断強度を測定した。
それぞれの結果を「養生(20℃×7日)後@20℃」及び「養生(20℃×7日)後@120℃」の欄に示す。
・耐熱性試験後の剪断強度
上記のとおり得られた養生サンプルを120℃の条件下に7日間置く耐熱性試験を行った。試験後のサンプルを耐熱性評価用サンプルとする。
上記耐熱性評価用サンプルを用いて、引張速度50mm/分で、20℃の条件下で、各耐熱性評価用サンプルの剪断強度を測定した。
結果を「養生、耐熱試験後@20℃」の欄に示す。
上記のとおり得られた養生サンプルを120℃の条件下に7日間置く耐熱性試験を行った。試験後のサンプルを耐熱性評価用サンプルとする。
上記耐熱性評価用サンプルを用いて、引張速度50mm/分で、20℃の条件下で、各耐熱性評価用サンプルの剪断強度を測定した。
結果を「養生、耐熱試験後@20℃」の欄に示す。
・耐温水試験後の剪断強度
上記のとおり得られた養生サンプルを40℃の温水に7日間浸漬させる耐温水試験を行った。上記7日経過後、サンプルを温水から引き揚げて耐温水評価用サンプルを得た。
上記耐温水評価用サンプルを用いて、引張速度50mm/分で、20℃の条件下で、各耐温水評価用サンプルの剪断強度を測定した。
結果を「養生、耐温水試験後@20℃」の欄に示す。
上記のとおり得られた養生サンプルを40℃の温水に7日間浸漬させる耐温水試験を行った。上記7日経過後、サンプルを温水から引き揚げて耐温水評価用サンプルを得た。
上記耐温水評価用サンプルを用いて、引張速度50mm/分で、20℃の条件下で、各耐温水評価用サンプルの剪断強度を測定した。
結果を「養生、耐温水試験後@20℃」の欄に示す。
第2表中、「f」は、各化合物が1分子あたりに有するヒドロキシ基の数を意味する。Mwは重量平均分子量を、Tgはガラス転移温度を意味する。
第1表に示す結果から明らかなように、ポリオールとして所定のポリエステルポリオールを使用しないウレタンプレポリマーを含有する比較例1は、熱時接着強度(120℃条件下で測定された養生後の剪断強度)が低く、且つ、耐久試験(養生後の、耐熱試験又は耐温水試験)後の剪断強度が低く耐久性が劣った。
ポリオールとして所定のポリエステルポリオールを使用せず、代わりに、ガラス転移温度が所定の範囲を外れるポリエステルポリオールを使用するウレタンプレポリマーを含有する比較例2は、熱時接着強度が低く、且つ、耐久性が劣った。
ポリオールとして3官能ポリオールを使用しないウレタンプレポリマーを含有する比較例3は、熱時接着強度が低く、且つ、耐久性が劣った。
熱可塑性(メタ)アクリル樹脂を含有しない比較例4は、熱時接着強度が低く、且つ、耐久性が劣った。
ポリオールとして所定のポリエステルポリオールを使用せず、代わりに、ガラス転移温度が所定の範囲を外れるポリエステルポリオールを使用するウレタンプレポリマーを含有する比較例2は、熱時接着強度が低く、且つ、耐久性が劣った。
ポリオールとして3官能ポリオールを使用しないウレタンプレポリマーを含有する比較例3は、熱時接着強度が低く、且つ、耐久性が劣った。
熱可塑性(メタ)アクリル樹脂を含有しない比較例4は、熱時接着強度が低く、且つ、耐久性が劣った。
これに対して、本発明の接着剤は、熱時接着強度が高く、且つ、耐久性に優れた。
ウレタンプレポリマーを形成する2官能ポリオールが、さらに、ポリテトラメチレングリコールを含む実施例1~9は、ポリテトラメチレングリコールを含まない実施例10よりも、老化後増粘率が低く、作業性に優れた。
さらに反応触媒を含有する実施例1は、反応触媒を含有しない実施例7よりも、初期剪断強度が高かった。
ウレタンプレポリマーを形成する2官能ポリオールが、さらに、ポリテトラメチレングリコールを含む実施例1~9は、ポリテトラメチレングリコールを含まない実施例10よりも、老化後増粘率が低く、作業性に優れた。
さらに反応触媒を含有する実施例1は、反応触媒を含有しない実施例7よりも、初期剪断強度が高かった。
Claims (6)
- ポリオールとポリイソシアネートとで形成されるウレタンプレポリマーと、
熱可塑性ポリ(メタ)アクリル樹脂とを含有し、
前記ポリオールが、ポリプロピレングリコール及びポリエチレングリコールを含む2官能ポリオール、
3官能ポリオール、並びに、
ガラス転移温度が20~60℃であるポリエステルポリオールを含む、反応性ホットメルト接着剤。 - 前記2官能ポリオールが、さらに、ポリテトラメチレングリコールを含む、請求項1に記載の反応性ホットメルト接着剤。
- 前記熱可塑性ポリ(メタ)アクリル樹脂のガラス転移温度が、40~80℃であり、
前記熱可塑性ポリ(メタ)アクリル樹脂の重量平均分子量が、2万~10万である、請求項1又は2に記載の反応性ホットメルト接着剤。 - さらに、反応触媒を含有する、請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載の反応性ホットメルト接着剤。
- 前記ウレタンプレポリマーを形成する前記3官能ポリオールの量が、前記ウレタンプレポリマー100質量部に対して、5~40質量部である、請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載の反応性ホットメルト接着剤。
- 前記熱可塑性ポリ(メタ)アクリル樹脂の含有量が、前記ウレタンプレポリマー100質量部に対して、5~30質量部である、請求項1~5のいずれか1項に記載の反応性ホットメルト接着剤。
