Description
本発明は、炭化水素油の水素化脱硫触媒及び水素化脱硫触媒の製造方法に関する。
現在、環境保護の観点から燃料油の硫黄分の品質規制が強化されている。特に、軽油中の硫黄分は、厳しい規制の対象となっている。そのため、上記規制に対応できるよう高い脱硫性能を有する触媒の開発が進められている(例えば、特許文献1参照)。
本発明は、高い脱硫性能を発揮しつつ、当該脱硫性能を長期間安定して維持することができる水素化脱硫触媒、及びその製造方法を提供することを目的とする。
本発明は、Si、Ti及びAlを含む無機酸化物担体と、該無機酸化物担体に担持された、第6族元素、第8族元素、第9族元素及び第10族元素からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種の金属成分と、を含有し、無機酸化物担体におけるAlの含有量がAl2O3換算で50質量%以上、Siの含有量がSiO2換算で1.0~10質量%、Tiの含有量がTiO2換算で12~28質量%であり、無機酸化物担体の、紫外分光分析により測定されるTi由来の吸収ピークの吸収端波長が364nm以下である、炭化水素油の水素化脱硫触媒を提供する。
一側面において、本発明に係る水素化脱硫触媒は、比表面積(SA)が150m2/g以上であり、細孔容積(PV)が0.30ml/g以上である。
他の側面において、金属成分は、モリブデン、タングステン、コバルト及びニッケルからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種を含む。
さらに他の側面において、金属成分の含有量は、酸化物換算で1~35質量%である。
また、本発明は、上述した本発明に係る水素化脱硫触媒の製造方法であって、チタニウム鉱酸塩及び酸性アルミニウム塩を含む第一の水溶液と、塩基性アルミニウム塩を含む第二の水溶液とを混合して、pH6.5~9.5の混合液とし、混合液中に析出した担体前駆体を得る工程、担体前駆体を焼成して担体を得る工程、及び、担体に、第6族元素、第8族元素、第9族元素及び第10族元素からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種の金属成分を担持して水素化脱硫触媒を得る工程、を備え、第一の水溶液及び/又は第二の水溶液がケイ酸イオンを含む、方法を提供する。
一側面において、第一の水溶液は60℃以下で調製される。
他の側面において、チタニウム鉱酸塩と酸性アルミニウム塩とを混合してから、第一の水溶液と第二の水溶液とを混合するまでの時間は60分以内である。
本発明によれば、高い脱硫性能を発揮しつつ、当該脱硫性能を長期間安定して維持することができる水素化脱硫触媒、及びその製造方法を提供することができる。
以下、本発明の実施形態について詳細に説明する。
<水素化脱硫触媒>
本実施形態に係る水素化脱硫触媒は、無機酸化物担体と、無機酸化物担体に担持された金属成分とを含有する。

(無機酸化物担体)
無機酸化物担体は、Si、Ti及びAlを含む。無機酸化物担体におけるAl2O3換算でのAlの含有量は、無機酸化物担体の全量基準で50質量%以上である。また、無機酸化物担体におけるSiO2換算でのSiの含有量は、無機酸化物担体の全量基準で1.0~10質量%である。また、無機酸化物担体におけるTiO2換算でのTiの含有量は、無機酸化物担体の全量基準で12~28質量%である。
無機酸化物担体は、Si、Ti及びAlを含む。無機酸化物担体におけるAl2O3換算でのAlの含有量は、無機酸化物担体の全量基準で50質量%以上である。また、無機酸化物担体におけるSiO2換算でのSiの含有量は、無機酸化物担体の全量基準で1.0~10質量%である。また、無機酸化物担体におけるTiO2換算でのTiの含有量は、無機酸化物担体の全量基準で12~28質量%である。
上記Alの含有量は、50質量%以上であれば特に制限はないが、水素化脱硫触媒の脱硫活性をより高める観点から、60質量%以上であることが好ましく、70質量%以上であることがより好ましい。また、上記Alの含有量は、例えば85質量%以下であってよい。
上記Siの含有量は、1.0~10質量%であれば特に制限はないが、脱硫触媒の脱硫活性をより高める観点から、1.5質量%以上であることが好ましく、2.0質量%以上であることがより好ましい。また、無機酸化物担体における細孔径を均一化する観点から、上記Siの含有量は、7.0質量%以下であることが好ましく、5.0質量%以下であることがより好ましい。
上記Tiの含有量は、12~28質量%であれば特に制限はないが、脱硫触媒の脱硫活性をより高める観点から、15質量%以上であることが好ましく、18質量%以上であってもよい。また、TiO2の凝集を効果的に抑制する観点から、上記Tiの含有量は、25質量%以下であることが好ましく、23質量%以下であってもよい。
無機酸化物担体は、Si、Ti及びAlに加えて、さらに他の元素を含んでいてもよい。他の元素としては、例えば、P、B、Zr等が挙げられる。無機酸化物担体が他の元素を含む場合、これらの含有量は、無機酸化物担体全量を基準とし、各元素の酸化物換算で、例えば1.0質量%以上であってよく、20質量%以下であってよい。
無機酸化物担体において、紫外分光分析により測定されるTi由来の吸収ピークの吸収端波長は、364nm以下である。吸収端波長が364nm以下であれば、担体中のTiO2粒子の分散性を良好に保つことができ、高い脱硫性能を発揮しつつ、当該脱硫性能を長期間安定して維持することができる。このような観点から、吸収端波長は360nm以下であることが好ましい。一方、吸収端波長の下限は特に制限されないが、担体中のTiの含有量を充分に確保するとともに、脱硫活性を良好に保つ観点から、例えば330nm以上であってよく、335nm以上であってもよい。
なお、本明細書において、紫外分光分析により測定される吸収ピークの吸収端波長とは、紫外可視分光光度計により測定される紫外可視光拡散反射スペクトルの吸収端を示す波長のことをいい、より具体的には、吸収強度をクベルカ-ムンク関数(K-M関数)を用いてK-M変換を行った際の、スペクトル強度の値が0.3以上となる最大の波長を意味する。
無機酸化物担体において、BET法で測定される比表面積(SA)は、例えば280m2/g以上であってよく、好ましくは290m2/g以上である。上記比表面積(SA)が280m2/s以上であれば、後述する金属成分を高分散に担持することができ、脱硫性能の低下をより効果的に抑制できる。また、上記比表面積(SA)は、例えば450m2/g以下であってよく、好ましくは430m2/g以下である。上記比表面積(SA)が450m2/g以下であれば、触媒強度の低下をより効果的に抑制することができる。
無機酸化物担体において、水のポアフィリング法により測定される細孔容積(PV)は、例えば0.45ml/g以上であってよく、好ましくは0.50ml/g以上である。また、上記細孔容積(PV)は、例えば0.80ml/g以下であってよく、好ましくは0.70ml/g以下である。上記細孔容積(PV)が0.80ml/g以下であれば、触媒強度の低下をより効果的に抑制することができる。
(金属成分)
本実施形態において、上記無機酸化物担体に担持される金属成分は、第6族元素、第8族元素、第9族元素及び第10族元素からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種である。ここで、「第6族元素」、「第8族元素」、「第9族元素」及び「第10族元素」とは、IUPAC形式の長周期表(新周期表)に基づく名称である。なお、短周期表(旧周期表)に基づき、「第6族元素」は「第VIA族元素」と称されることもあり、「第8族元素」、「第9族元素」及び「第10族元素」は「第VIII族元素」と総称されることもある。第6族元素の金属成分としては、モリブデン(Mo)、タングステン(W)等が挙げられ、第8族元素、第9族元素及び第10族元素の金属成分としては、コバルト(Co)、ニッケル(Ni)等が挙げられる。これらの金属成分は、1種を単独で用いてもよく、2種以上を併用してもよい。
本実施形態において、上記無機酸化物担体に担持される金属成分は、第6族元素、第8族元素、第9族元素及び第10族元素からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種である。ここで、「第6族元素」、「第8族元素」、「第9族元素」及び「第10族元素」とは、IUPAC形式の長周期表(新周期表)に基づく名称である。なお、短周期表(旧周期表)に基づき、「第6族元素」は「第VIA族元素」と称されることもあり、「第8族元素」、「第9族元素」及び「第10族元素」は「第VIII族元素」と総称されることもある。第6族元素の金属成分としては、モリブデン(Mo)、タングステン(W)等が挙げられ、第8族元素、第9族元素及び第10族元素の金属成分としては、コバルト(Co)、ニッケル(Ni)等が挙げられる。これらの金属成分は、1種を単独で用いてもよく、2種以上を併用してもよい。
金属成分の含有量は、水素化脱硫触媒全量基準で、酸化物換算で1~35質量%であってよく、好ましくは15~30質量%である。特に、第6族元素の金属成分の含有量は、水素化脱硫触媒全量基準で、酸化物換算で10~30質量%であることが好ましく、13~24質量%であることがより好ましい。また、第8族元素、第9族元素及び第10族元素の含有量の合計は、酸化物換算で1~10質量%であることが好ましく、2~6質量%であることがより好ましい。
水素化脱硫触媒は、リンを含んでいてもよく、その場合リンの含有量は、水素化脱硫触媒全量基準で、酸化物(P2O5)換算で1~10質量%であることが好ましく、2~6質量%であることがより好ましい。
水素化脱硫触媒において、BET法で測定される比表面積(SA)は、例えば150m2/g以上であってよく、好ましくは170m2/g以上である。比表面積(SA)が150m2/s以上であれば、脱硫反応の活性点を維持することができ、脱硫性能の低下をより効果的に抑制できる。また、上記比表面積(SA)は、例えば250m2/g以下であってよく、好ましくは230m2/g以下である。比表面積(SA)が250m2/g以下であれば、触媒強度の低下をより効果的に抑制することができる。
水素化脱硫触媒において、水のポアフィリング法により測定される細孔容積(PV)は、例えば0.30ml/g以上であってよく、好ましくは0.35ml/g以上である。また、上記細孔容積(PV)は、例えば0.60ml/g以下であってよく、好ましくは0.50ml/g以下である。細孔容積(PV)が0.60ml/g以下であれば、触媒強度の低下をより効果的に抑制することができる。
本実施形態に係る水素化脱硫触媒は、炭化水素油、特に軽油留分の水素化処理に好適に使用される。本実施形態に係る水素化脱硫触媒を使用した水素化脱硫処理は、例えば、固定床反応装置に触媒を充填して、水素雰囲気下、高温高圧条件で行われる。
軽油留分としては、原油の常圧蒸留装置から得られる直留軽油、常圧蒸留装置から得られる直留重質油や残渣油を減圧蒸留装置で処理して得られる減圧軽油、減圧重質軽油或いは脱硫重油を接触分解して得られる接触分解軽油、減圧重質軽油或いは脱硫重油を水素化分解して得られる水素化分解軽油等が挙げられる。
反応圧力(水素分圧)は3~15MPaであることが好ましく、より好ましくは4~10MPaである。反応圧力が3MPa未満では脱硫及び脱窒素が著しく低下する傾向にあり、また、15MPaを超えると水素消費が大きくなり運転コストが増加するので好ましくない。
反応温度は300~420℃であることが好ましく、より好ましくは320~380℃である。反応温度が300℃未満では脱硫及び脱窒素活性が著しく低下する傾向にあり実用的でない。また、420℃を超えると触媒劣化が顕著になるとともに、反応装置の耐熱温度(通常約425℃)に近づくため好ましくない。
液空間速度は特に制限されないが、0.5~4.0h-1であることが好ましく、より好ましくは0.5~2.0h-1である。液空間速度が0.5h-1未満では処理量が低いので生産性が低くなり実用的ではない。また、液空間速度が4.0h-1を超えると反応温度が高くなり、触媒劣化が早くなるので好ましくない。
水素/油比は120~420ML/Lであることが好ましく、より好ましくは170~340NL/Lである。水素/油比が120NL/L未満では脱硫率が低下するので好ましくない。また、420NL/Lを超えても脱硫活性に大きな変化がなく、運転コストが増加するだけなので好ましくない。
<水素化脱硫触媒の製造方法>
上述した本実施形態に係る水素化脱硫触媒の製造方法について説明する。本実施形態に係る水素化脱硫触媒の製造方法は、チタニウム鉱酸塩及び酸性アルミニウム塩を含む第一の水溶液と、塩基性アルミニウム塩を含む第二の水溶液とを混合して、pH6.5~9.5の混合液とし、混合液中に析出した担体前駆体を得る工程(以下、「第1工程」ともいう)、担体前駆体を焼成して担体を得る工程(以下、「第2工程」ともいう)、及び、担体に、第6族元素、第8族元素、第9族元素及び第10族元素からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種の金属成分を担持して水素化脱硫触媒を得る工程(以下、「第3工程」ともいう)を備える。以下、それぞれの工程について説明する。
上述した本実施形態に係る水素化脱硫触媒の製造方法について説明する。本実施形態に係る水素化脱硫触媒の製造方法は、チタニウム鉱酸塩及び酸性アルミニウム塩を含む第一の水溶液と、塩基性アルミニウム塩を含む第二の水溶液とを混合して、pH6.5~9.5の混合液とし、混合液中に析出した担体前駆体を得る工程(以下、「第1工程」ともいう)、担体前駆体を焼成して担体を得る工程(以下、「第2工程」ともいう)、及び、担体に、第6族元素、第8族元素、第9族元素及び第10族元素からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種の金属成分を担持して水素化脱硫触媒を得る工程(以下、「第3工程」ともいう)を備える。以下、それぞれの工程について説明する。
(第1工程)
第1工程は、チタニウム鉱酸塩及び酸性アルミニウム塩を含む第一の水溶液と、塩基性アルミニウム塩を含む第二の水溶液とを混合して、pH6.5~9.5の混合液とし、混合液中に析出した担体前駆体を得る工程である。ここで、第一の水溶液は、通常、酸性の水溶液であり、第二の水溶液は、通常、塩基性の水溶液である。
第1工程は、チタニウム鉱酸塩及び酸性アルミニウム塩を含む第一の水溶液と、塩基性アルミニウム塩を含む第二の水溶液とを混合して、pH6.5~9.5の混合液とし、混合液中に析出した担体前駆体を得る工程である。ここで、第一の水溶液は、通常、酸性の水溶液であり、第二の水溶液は、通常、塩基性の水溶液である。
第一の水溶液に含まれるチタニウム鉱酸塩としては、例えば、四塩化チタン、三塩化チタン、硫酸チタン、硝酸チタン等が挙げられ、特に硫酸チタンは安価であるため好適に使用される。また、酸性アルミニウム塩としては、硫酸アルミニウム、塩化アルミニウム、硝酸アルミニウム等が挙げられる。また、第二の水溶液に含まれる塩基性アルミニウム塩としては、例えば、アルミン酸ナトリウム、アルミン酸カリウム等が挙げられる。
また、第1工程においては、第一の水溶液及び/又は第二の水溶液がケイ酸イオンを含むが、第一の水溶液及び/又は第二の水溶液にケイ酸イオン(ケイ酸化合物)を添加するタイミングは特に限定されない。例えば、チタニウム鉱酸塩、酸性アルミニウム塩及びケイ酸イオンを実質的に同時に添加・混合して第一の水溶液を作製してもよいし、チタニウム鉱酸塩及び酸性アルミニウム塩を含む水溶液を用意しておき、第二の水溶液と混合する直前に、ケイ酸イオンを添加・混合して第一の水溶液としてもよい。同様に、塩基性アルミニウム塩及びケイ酸イオンを実質的に同時に添加・混合して第二の水溶液を作製してもよいし、塩基性アルミニウム塩を含む水溶液を用意しておき、第一の水溶液と混合する直前に、ケイ酸イオンを添加・混合して第二の水溶液としてもよい。
第一の水溶液に含まれるチタニウム鉱酸塩及び酸性アルミニウム塩、第二の水溶液に含まれる塩基性アルミニウム塩、並びに、第一の水溶液及び/又は第二の水溶液に含まれるケイ酸イオンの含有量は、特に限定されず、後述する第2工程で得られる無機酸化物担体のAlの含有量がAl2O3換算で50質量%以上、Siの含有量がSiO2換算で1.0~10質量%、Tiの含有量がTiO2換算で12~28質量%となるように適宜調製することができる。
第一の水溶液がケイ酸イオンを含む場合、用いるケイ酸化合物としては、例えば、酸性又は中性のケイ酸化合物を用いてもよい。酸性のケイ酸化合物としては、例えば、ケイ酸等が挙げられる。一方、第二の水溶液がケイ酸イオンを含む場合、用いるケイ酸化合物としては、例えば、塩基性又は中性のケイ酸化合物を用いてもよい。塩基性のケイ酸化合物としては、例えば、ケイ酸ナトリウム等が挙げられる。
第一の水溶液を調製する際の条件は、特に限定されないが、第一の水溶液中でのチタニウム鉱酸塩の安定性を確保する観点から、例えば、調製時の温度を60℃以下とすることが好ましい。また、第一の水溶液を調製する際の温度は、チタニウム鉱酸塩を溶解させやすくする観点から、例えば室温(23℃)以上であってよく、30℃以上であることが好ましい。
第1工程において、第一の水溶液と第二の水溶液とを混合して得られる混合液のpHは、6.5~9.5である。混合液のpHを上記数値範囲内とすることで、混合液において担体前駆体を安定的に析出させることができる。混合液のpHは、6.5~8.5であることが好ましく、6.5~7.5であることがより好ましい。これにより、担体前駆体からの不純物の除去が容易になる。
第一の水溶液と第二の水溶液とを混合する方法は特に限定されず、例えば、第一の水溶液に第二の水溶液を添加して混合する方法、第二の水溶液に第一の水溶液を添加して混合する方法等を用いることができる。また、第一の水溶液と第二の水溶液とを一括して混合してもよいし、一方の水溶液を連続的に他方の水溶液に添加してもよい。連続的に添加する場合、添加開始から添加完了までの時間は特に制限されず、例えば5~20分であってよく、7~15分であってもよい。特に、第二の水溶液に第一の水溶液を添加して混合する場合、擬ベーマイトの他にバイヤライトやギブサイト等の結晶物の生成を充分に抑制し、得られる水素化精製触媒の比表面積をより効果的に確保する観点から、13分以下であることが好ましい。
第1工程においては、無機酸化物担体の吸収端波長をより効果的に調整する観点から、チタニウム鉱酸塩と酸性アルミニウム塩とを混合してから、第一の水溶液と第二の水溶液とを混合するまでの時間を、例えば、60分以内としてもよい。なお、第一の水溶液と第二の水溶液とを混合するまでの時間とは、一方の水溶液を連続的に他方の水溶液に添加する場合、添加完了までの時間を意味する。チタニウム鉱酸塩と酸性アルミニウム塩とを混合してから、第一の水溶液と第二の水溶液とを混合するまでの時間を60分以内とすることで、第一の水溶液中でのTiO2粒子の凝集を効果的に抑制することができ、無機酸化物担体中のTiO2粒子の分散性をより良好に保つことができる。このような観点から、チタニウム鉱酸塩と酸性アルミニウム塩とを混合してから、第一の水溶液と第二の水溶液とを混合するまでの時間は、50分以内であることがより好ましく、40分以内であることが更に好ましい。
第一の水溶液と第二の水溶液とを混合する際のその他の条件は、特に制限されない。例えば、第二の水溶液に第一の水溶液を添加して混合する場合、第二の水溶液を撹拌機付き容器に入れ、通常40~80℃、好ましくは55~70℃に加温して保持し、第二の水溶液の温度±5℃、好ましくは±2℃、より好ましくは±1℃に加温した第一の水溶液を添加することによって、第一の水溶液と第二の水溶液とを混合してよい。
(第2工程)
第2工程は、上記第1工程で得られた担体前駆体を焼成して担体(無機酸化物担体)を得る工程である。

担体前駆体を焼成する条件は特に制限されないが、例えば焼成温度は、400~700℃であってよく、450~600℃であってもよく、500~570℃であってもよい。また、焼成時間は、例えば0.5~10時間であってよく、2~5時間であってもよい。
焼成に供する担体前駆体は、所望により加熱捏和して、成型可能な捏和物とした後、押出成型等により所望の形状に成型し、例えば70~150℃、好ましくは90~130℃で乾燥したものを用いてもよい。
また、担体前駆体を焼成するに際し、所望により副生塩を除くために担体前駆体を洗浄してもよいし、担体前駆体を熟成してもよい。担体前駆体を洗浄するための洗浄液としては、例えば、アンモニア水溶液等が挙げられる。また、熟成方法としては、例えば、還流機付きの熟成タンクを用いて80~120℃で5~20時間撹拌しながら熟成する方法等が挙げられる。
(第3工程)
第3工程は、上記第2工程で得られた担体(無機酸化物担体)に、第6族元素、第8族元素、第9族元素及び第10族元素からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種の金属成分を担持して水素化脱硫触媒を得る工程である。
第3工程は、上記第2工程で得られた担体(無機酸化物担体)に、第6族元素、第8族元素、第9族元素及び第10族元素からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種の金属成分を担持して水素化脱硫触媒を得る工程である。
担体に金属成分を担持する方法は特に制限されず、例えば、含浸法、浸漬法等の手段を用いることができる。担体に金属成分を担持させるための原料金属化合物としては、例えば、硝酸ニッケル、炭酸ニッケル、硝酸コバルト、炭酸コバルト、三酸化モリブデン、モリブデン酸アンモン、パラタングステン酸アンモン等が挙げられる。
担体に担持する金属成分に第6族元素の金属成分が含まれる場合、酸を用いて金属成分を溶解させることが好ましい。この場合、酸としては、リン酸、有機酸等が挙げられる。リン酸を用いる場合、触媒性能を維持しつつ安定した溶解性を担保する観点から、リン酸の含有量は、第6族元素の金属成分100質量部に対して酸化物換算で3~25質量部であってよく、10~15質量部であってよい。
第3工程においては、上述した方法により担体に金属成分を担持した後、所望により焼成することで、水素化脱硫触媒を作製してもよい。焼成条件は特に制限されず、例えば焼成温度は、400~700℃であってよく、450~600℃であってもよく、500~570℃であってもよい。また、焼成時間は、例えば0.5~10時間であってよく、2~5時間であってもよい。
以上、本実施形態に係る水素化脱硫触媒及びその製造方法について説明したが、本発明は、上記実施形態に何ら限定されることはない。
例えば、水素化脱硫触媒の製造において、上記第3工程で得られた水素化脱硫触媒を、反応装置中で予備硫化処理することにより、予備硫化済みの水素化脱硫触媒を製造することができる。より具体的には、水素化脱硫触媒と硫黄化合物を含む石油蒸留物(炭化水素油)及び硫化剤(ジメチルサルファイド、ジメチルジスルフィド、二硫化炭素等)を混合した混合油とを、200~400℃(好ましくは240~340℃)、常圧又はそれ以上の水素分圧(例えば2~15MPa)の水素雰囲気下で接触させて予備硫化処理を行い、予備硫化済み水素化脱硫触媒を得てもよいし、単に水素化脱硫触媒と硫化水素とを、上記と同様の条件で接触させて予備硫化済み水素化脱硫触媒を得てもよい。
上記条件で水素化脱硫触媒の予備硫化処理を行うことで、担持金属の硫化度を高水準に保ちつつ、金属硫化物の結晶相の積層数を一定範囲に維持することができ、より良好な脱硫活性を発揮することができる。
以下、本発明の内容を実施例及び比較例によってさらに具体的に説明するが、本発明はこれらの実施例に何ら限定されるものではない。
(実施例1)
<担体前駆体の調製>
容量が100Lのスチームジャケット付きのタンクに、Al2O3換算で22質量%のアルミン酸ナトリウム水溶液(日揮触媒化成株式会社製)8.16kgを入れ、イオン交換水41.0kgで希釈後、SiO2換算で5.0質量%のケイ酸ナトリウム溶液(AGCエスアイテック株式会社製;SiO2濃度24質量%)1.80kgを撹拌しながら添加し、60℃に加温して、塩基性アルミニウム塩を含む第二の水溶液を作製した。
<担体前駆体の調製>
容量が100Lのスチームジャケット付きのタンクに、Al2O3換算で22質量%のアルミン酸ナトリウム水溶液(日揮触媒化成株式会社製)8.16kgを入れ、イオン交換水41.0kgで希釈後、SiO2換算で5.0質量%のケイ酸ナトリウム溶液(AGCエスアイテック株式会社製;SiO2濃度24質量%)1.80kgを撹拌しながら添加し、60℃に加温して、塩基性アルミニウム塩を含む第二の水溶液を作製した。
Al2O3換算で7.0質量%の硫酸アルミニウム水溶液(日揮触媒化成株式会社製)7.38kgを13.0kgのイオン交換水で希釈した溶液Aと、TiO2換算で33質量%の硫酸チタニル(テイカ株式会社製)1.82kgを10.0kgのイオン交換水に溶解した溶液Bとを混合し、50℃に加温して、チタニウム鉱酸塩及び酸性アルミニウム塩を含む第一の水溶液を作製した。
続いて、第二の水溶液が入ったタンクに、ローラーポンプを用いて第一の水溶液をpHが7.2となるまで一定速度で10分間かけて添加し、担体前駆体(水和物)aが析出した混合液(スラリー)を得た。なお、溶液Aと溶液Bとを混合してから、第一の水溶液の第二の水溶液への添加が完了するまでの時間(添加完了時間)は30分であった。
<無機酸化物担体の調製>
得られた混合液を60℃で1時間撹拌した後、平板フィルターを用いて脱水し、さらに、0.3質量%アンモニア水溶液150Lで洗浄した。洗浄後のケーキ状態の担体前駆体aをAl2O3換算で10質量%となるようにイオン交換水で希釈した後、15質量%アンモニア水でpHを10.5に調整した。得られた希釈液を還流機付き熟成タンクに移し、撹拌しながら熟成温度95℃で10時間熟成した。熟成終了後の混合液を脱水し、スチームジャケットを備えた双腕式ニーダーにて練りながら所定の水分量まで濃縮捏和した。得られた捏和物を押出成型機にて直径が1.8mmの円柱形状に成型し、110℃で乾燥した。乾燥した成型品を、電気炉で550℃の温度で3時間焼成し、Si、Ti及びAlを含む無機酸化物担体aを得た。
得られた混合液を60℃で1時間撹拌した後、平板フィルターを用いて脱水し、さらに、0.3質量%アンモニア水溶液150Lで洗浄した。洗浄後のケーキ状態の担体前駆体aをAl2O3換算で10質量%となるようにイオン交換水で希釈した後、15質量%アンモニア水でpHを10.5に調整した。得られた希釈液を還流機付き熟成タンクに移し、撹拌しながら熟成温度95℃で10時間熟成した。熟成終了後の混合液を脱水し、スチームジャケットを備えた双腕式ニーダーにて練りながら所定の水分量まで濃縮捏和した。得られた捏和物を押出成型機にて直径が1.8mmの円柱形状に成型し、110℃で乾燥した。乾燥した成型品を、電気炉で550℃の温度で3時間焼成し、Si、Ti及びAlを含む無機酸化物担体aを得た。
無機酸化物担体aにおいては、いずれも担体全量基準で、AlがAl2O3換算で77質量%、SiがSiO2換算で3.0質量%、TiがTiO2換算で20質量%含有されていた。また、無機酸化物担体aの性状(細孔容積(PV)及び比表面積(SA))を下記に示す方法にしたがって測定した。
さらに、下記に示す方法にしたがって無機酸化物担体aの紫外可視光拡散反射スペクトルを分析した。分析結果を図1に示す。分析結果から無機酸化物担体aの吸収端波長を算出したところ、346nmであった。
<水素化脱硫触媒の調製>
次に、三酸化モリブデン(Climax社製;MoO3濃度99質量%)267gと炭酸コバルト(株式会社田中化学研究所製;CoO濃度61質量%)54gとを、イオン交換水500mlに懸濁させ、懸濁液を95℃で5時間、液容量が減少しないように適当な還流装置を施して加熱した後、リン酸(関東化学株式会社製;P2O5濃度62質量%)54gを加えて溶解させ、含浸液を作製した。得られた含浸液を、上記無機酸化物担体a1000gに噴霧含浸させた後、250℃で乾燥し、電気炉にて焼成温度550℃で1時間焼成して水素化脱硫触媒aを得た。
次に、三酸化モリブデン(Climax社製;MoO3濃度99質量%)267gと炭酸コバルト(株式会社田中化学研究所製;CoO濃度61質量%)54gとを、イオン交換水500mlに懸濁させ、懸濁液を95℃で5時間、液容量が減少しないように適当な還流装置を施して加熱した後、リン酸(関東化学株式会社製;P2O5濃度62質量%)54gを加えて溶解させ、含浸液を作製した。得られた含浸液を、上記無機酸化物担体a1000gに噴霧含浸させた後、250℃で乾燥し、電気炉にて焼成温度550℃で1時間焼成して水素化脱硫触媒aを得た。
水素化脱硫触媒aにおける金属成分は、いずれも該触媒全量基準で、MoO3が20質量%、CoOが2.5質量%、P2O5が2.5質量%含有されていた。
下記に示す方法にしたがって水素化脱硫触媒aの性状(細孔容積(PV)及び比表面積(SA))、並びに水素化脱硫触媒aの水素化脱硫活性試験及び水素化脱硫活性の安定性試験を行った。表1に各性状をまとめて示す。
(実施例2)
<担体前駆体の調製>
実施例1と同様の方法により、担体前駆体bが析出した混合液を得た。
<担体前駆体の調製>

無機酸化物担体の調製において、希釈液を還流機付き熟成タンクに移し、撹拌しながら10時間熟成する際の温度を65℃に変更した以外は、実施例1と同様の方法により、無機酸化物担体bを作製し、性状(細孔容積(PV)及び比表面積(SA))を測定した。無機酸化物担体bにおいては、いずれも担体全量基準で、AlがAl2O3換算で77質量%、SiがSiO2換算で3.0質量%、TiがTiO2換算で20質量%含有されていた。また、無機酸化物担体bの吸収端波長を実施例1と同様の方法で算出したところ、351nmであった。

Al2O3換算で7.0質量%の硫酸アルミニウム水溶液(日揮触媒化成株式会社製)5.76kgを10.0kgのイオン交換水で希釈した溶液Aと、TiO2換算で33質量%の硫酸チタニル(テイカ株式会社製)2.27kgを13.0kgのイオン交換水に溶解した溶液Bとを混合し、50℃に加温して、チタニウム鉱酸塩及び酸性アルミニウム塩を含む第一の水溶液を作製した。以降は実施例1と同様の方法により、担体前駆体cが析出した混合液を得た。

三酸化モリブデン(Climax社製;MoO3濃度99質量%)272gと炭酸ニッケル(正同化学工業株式会社製;NiO濃度55質量%)37gと炭酸コバルト(株式会社田中化学研究所製;CoO濃度61質量%)55gとを、イオン交換水500mlに懸濁させ、懸濁液を95℃で5時間、液容量が減少しないように適当な還流装置を施して加熱した後、リン酸(関東化学株式会社製;P2O5濃度62質量%)55gを加えて溶解させ、含浸液を作製した。

(比較例3)
<担体前駆体の調製>
実施例1と同様の方法により、第二の水溶液及び第一の水溶液を作製した。
続いて、第二の水溶液が入ったタンクに、ローラーポンプを用いて第一の水溶液をpHが7.2となるまで一定速度で10分間かけて添加し、担体前駆体(水和物)hが析出した混合液(スラリー)を得た。なお、溶液Aと溶液Bとを混合してから、第一の水溶液の第二の水溶液への添加が完了するまでの時間は90分であった。
<担体前駆体の調製>
実施例1と同様の方法により、第二の水溶液及び第一の水溶液を作製した。
続いて、第二の水溶液が入ったタンクに、ローラーポンプを用いて第一の水溶液をpHが7.2となるまで一定速度で10分間かけて添加し、担体前駆体(水和物)hが析出した混合液(スラリー)を得た。なお、溶液Aと溶液Bとを混合してから、第一の水溶液の第二の水溶液への添加が完了するまでの時間は90分であった。

<無機酸化物担体の紫外可視光拡散反射スペクトルの測定及び吸収端の算出>
紫外可視光分光光度計(日本分光株式会社製;V-660)を用いて、拡散反射測定用の積分球ユニットISV-772を装着し、以下のようにして紫外可視光拡散反射スペクトルを測定した。
<無機酸化物担体の紫外可視光拡散反射スペクトルの測定及び吸収端の算出>
紫外可視光分光光度計(日本分光株式会社製;V-660)を用いて、拡散反射測定用の積分球ユニットISV-772を装着し、以下のようにして紫外可視光拡散反射スペクトルを測定した。
無機酸化物担体試料200mgを拡散反射試料用セルホルダに充填した後、室温にて吸光度を測定した。具体的には、測光モードにて、バンド幅5.0nm、測定範囲500-200nm、データ取込間隔0.1nm、走査速度100nm/min、光源切替波長340nmとし、波数範囲500-200nmの範囲でバックグラウンド補正した。なお、バックグラウンド測定は上記条件下で、基準白板を用いることで行った。
上記で得られた拡散反射スペクトルから吸収端を算出する方法は、クベルカームンク関数(K-M関数)を用いてK-M変換を行い、スペクトル強度の値が0.3以上となる最大の波長を吸収端波長として算出した。

水素化脱硫触媒を充填した反応管を固定床流通式水素化脱硫装置に取り付けた。その後、硫黄分濃度が1質量%の炭化水素油を用いて触媒層平均温度300℃、水素分圧6.0MPa、液空間速度1.0h-1、水素/油比200NL/Lの条件下で、5時間以上触媒の予備硫化を行った。
<水素化脱硫活性試験>
水素化脱硫触媒を充填した反応管を固定床流通式水素化脱硫装置に取り付けた。その後、硫黄分濃度が1質量%の炭化水素油を用いて触媒層平均温度300℃、水素分圧6.0MPa、液空間速度1.0h-1、水素/油比200NL/Lの条件下で、5時間以上触媒の予備硫化を行った。
予備硫化された水素化脱硫触媒を使用して、以下の性状を有する原料油をザイテル社製の水素化脱硫装置により水素化脱硫した。水素化脱硫反応は以下の条件で行った。各触媒について反応温度350℃における反応速度定数を求め、水素化脱硫触媒aの反応速度定数を100として相対脱硫活性を算出した。
(原料油の性状)
原料油 :直留軽油(沸点範囲:215~363℃)
15℃での密度:0.8515g/cm3
硫黄分 :1.09質量%
窒素分 :120質量ppm

(反応条件)
反応温度 :330℃(運転開始後1日~3日)

水素圧力 :6.0MPa
水素/油比:200NL/L
反応温度 :330℃(運転開始後1日~3日)

<水素化脱硫活性の安定性試験>
水素化脱硫触媒を充填した反応管を固定床流通式水素化脱硫装置に取り付けた。その後、硫黄分濃度が1質量%の炭化水素油を用いて触媒層平均温度300℃、水素分圧4.5MPa、液空間速度1.0h-1、水素/油比200NL/Lの条件下で、5時間以上触媒の予備硫化を行った。
水素化脱硫触媒を充填した反応管を固定床流通式水素化脱硫装置に取り付けた。その後、硫黄分濃度が1質量%の炭化水素油を用いて触媒層平均温度300℃、水素分圧4.5MPa、液空間速度1.0h-1、水素/油比200NL/Lの条件下で、5時間以上触媒の予備硫化を行った。
予備硫化された水素化脱硫触媒を使用して、以下の性状を有する原料油をザイテル社製の水素化脱硫装置により水素化脱硫した。水素化脱硫反応は以下の条件で行った。各触媒について運転開始5日後と20日後の反応速度定数を求め、各触媒の5日後の反応速度定数を100として20日後の反応速度定数を算出した。

原料油 :直留軽油(沸点範囲:215~363℃)
15℃での密度:0.8515g/cm3
硫黄分 :1.09質量%
窒素分 :120質量ppm

Claims (7)
- Si、Ti及びAlを含む無機酸化物担体と、該無機酸化物担体に担持された、第6族元素、第8族元素、第9族元素及び第10族元素からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種の金属成分と、を含有し、
前記無機酸化物担体におけるAlの含有量がAl2O3換算で50質量%以上、Siの含有量がSiO2換算で1.0~10質量%、Tiの含有量がTiO2換算で12~28質量%であり、
前記無機酸化物担体の、紫外分光分析により測定されるTi由来の吸収ピークの吸収端波長が364nm以下である、炭化水素油の水素化脱硫触媒。 - 比表面積(SA)が150m2/g以上であり、細孔容積(PV)が0.30ml/g以上である、請求項1に記載の水素化脱硫触媒。
- 前記金属成分が、モリブデン、タングステン、コバルト及びニッケルからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種を含む、請求項1又は2に記載の水素化脱硫触媒。
- 前記金属成分の含有量が、酸化物換算で1~35質量%である、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の水素化脱硫触媒。
- 請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の水素化脱硫触媒の製造方法であって、
チタニウム鉱酸塩及び酸性アルミニウム塩を含む第一の水溶液と、塩基性アルミニウム塩を含む第二の水溶液とを混合して、pH6.5~9.5の混合液とし、前記混合液中に析出した担体前駆体を得る工程、
前記担体前駆体を焼成して担体を得る工程、及び、
前記担体に、第6族元素、第8族元素、第9族元素及び第10族元素からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種の金属成分を担持して前記水素化脱硫触媒を得る工程、
を備え、
前記第一の水溶液及び/又は前記第二の水溶液がケイ酸イオンを含む、方法。 - 前記第一の水溶液が60℃以下で調製される、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記チタニウム鉱酸塩と前記酸性アルミニウム塩とを混合してから、前記第一の水溶液と第二の水溶液とを混合するまでの時間が60分以内である、請求項5又は6に記載の方法。
