Abstract
Description
また、特許文献4には、特定構造を有する酸二無水物を用いてなり、両末端にフェノール性水酸基又はアニリン性アミノ基を有するイミドオリゴマーが開示されている。しかしながら、このようなイミドオリゴマーを用いた場合は、溶剤への溶解性の観点から高極性の溶剤を用いる必要があり、貯蔵安定性が悪くなることや、硬化性樹脂への溶解性が不足するため、硬化物に取り込まれずに残渣となり長期耐熱性が低下することがあった。
また、本発明は、下記式(1-1)で表される構造を有し、数平均分子量が900以上4000以下であるか、又は、下記式(1-2)で表される構造を有し、数平均分子量が550以上4000以下であるイミドオリゴマーである。
以下に本発明を詳述する。
なお、本明細書において上記「数平均分子量」は、ゲルパーミエーションクロマトグラフィー(GPC)で溶媒としてテトラヒドロフランを用いて測定を行い、ポリスチレン換算により求められる値である。GPCによってポリスチレン換算による数平均分子量を測定する際に用いるカラムとしては、例えば、JAIGEL-2H-A(日本分析工業社製)等が挙げられる。
本発明のイミドオリゴマーは、具体的には、下記式(4-1)、下記式(4-2)、下記式(4-3)、若しくは、下記式(4-4)で表されるイミドオリゴマー、又は、下記式(5-1)、下記式(5-2)、下記式(5-3)、若しくは、下記式(5-4)で表されるイミドオリゴマーであることが好ましい。
まず、予め上記式(9)で表されるジアミンを、反応により得られるアミック酸オリゴマーが可溶な溶媒(例えば、N-メチルピロリドン等)に溶解させ、得られた溶液に上記式(8)で表される酸二無水物を添加して反応させてアミック酸オリゴマー溶液を得る。次いで、加熱や減圧等により溶媒を除去し、更に、約200℃以上で1時間以上加熱してアミック酸オリゴマーを反応させる方法等が挙げられる。上記式(8)で表される酸二無水物と上記式(9)で表されるジアミンとのモル比、及び、イミド化条件を調整することにより、所望の数平均分子量を有し、両末端に上記式(1-1)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマーを得ることができる。
また、上記式(8)で表される酸二無水物の一部を下記式(10)で表される酸無水物に置き換えることにより、所望の数平均分子量を有し、一方の末端に上記式(1-1)で表される構造を有し、他方の末端に下記式(10)で表される酸無水物に由来する構造を有するイミドオリゴマーを得ることができる。この場合、上記式(8)で表される酸二無水物と下記式(10)で表される酸無水物とは、同時に添加してもよいし、別々に添加してもよい。
更に、上記式(9)で表されるジアミンの一部を下記式(11)で表されるモノアミンに置き換えることにより、所望の数平均分子量を有し、一方の末端に上記式(1-1)で表される構造を有し、他方の末端に下記式(11)で表されるモノアミンに由来する構造を有するイミドオリゴマーを得ることができる。この場合、上記式(9)で表されるジアミンと下記式(11)で表されるモノアミンとは、同時に添加してもよいし、別々に添加してもよい。
まず、予め式(12)で表されるフェノール性水酸基含有モノアミンを、反応により得られるアミック酸オリゴマーが可溶な溶媒(例えば、N-メチルピロリドン等)に溶解させ、得られた溶液に上記式(8)で表される酸二無水物を添加して反応させてアミック酸オリゴマー溶液を得る。次いで、加熱や減圧等により溶媒を除去し、更に、約200℃以上で1時間以上加熱してアミック酸オリゴマーを反応させる方法等が挙げられる。上記式(8)で表される酸二無水物と上記式(12)で表されるフェノール性水酸基含有モノアミンとのモル比、及び、イミド化条件を調整することにより、所望の数平均分子量を有し、両末端に上記式(1-2)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマーを得ることができる。
また、上記式(12)で表されるフェノール性水酸基含有モノアミンの一部を上記式(11)で表されるモノアミンに置き換えることにより、所望の数平均分子量を有し、一方の末端に上記式(1-2)で表される構造を有し、他方の末端に上記式(11)で表されるモノアミンに由来する構造を有するイミドオリゴマーを得ることができる。この場合、上記式(12)で表されるフェノール性水酸基含有モノアミンと上記式(11)で表されるモノアミンとは、同時に添加してもよいし、別々に添加してもよい。
なかでも、溶解性及び耐熱性により優れるものとなることから、本発明のイミドオリゴマーの原料に用いる酸二無水物としては、融点が240℃以下の芳香族性酸二無水物が好ましく、融点が220℃以下の芳香族性酸二無水物がより好ましく、融点が200℃以下の芳香族性酸二無水物が更に好ましく、3,4’-オキシジフタル酸二無水物(融点180℃)、4,4’-(4,4’-イソプロピリデンジフェノキシ)ジフタル酸無水物(融点190℃)が特に好ましい。
なお、本明細書において上記「融点」は、示差走査熱量計を用いて、10℃/minにて昇温した際の吸熱ピークの温度として測定される値を意味する。上記示差走査熱量計としては、例えば、EXTEAR DSC6100(エスアイアイ・ナノテクノロジー社製)等が挙げられる。
本発明のイミドオリゴマー組成物のイミド化率の好ましい下限は75%、より好ましい下限は80%である。
また、本発明のイミドオリゴマー組成物のイミド化率の好ましい上限は特にないが、実質的な上限は98%である。
なお、上記「イミド化率」は、フーリエ変換赤外分光光度計(FT-IR)を用いて全反射測定法(ATR法)にて測定を行い、アミック酸のカルボニル基に由来する1660cm-1付近のピーク吸光度面積から下記式にて導出することができる。上記フーリエ変換赤外分光光度計としては、例えば、UMA600(Agilent Technologies社製)等が挙げられる。なお、下記式中における「アミック酸オリゴマーのピーク吸光度面積」は、酸二無水物とジアミン又はフェノール性水酸基含有モノアミンとを反応させた後、イミド化工程を行わずに溶媒をエバポレーション等により除去することで得られるアミック酸オリゴマーの吸光度面積である。
イミド化率(%)=100×(1-(イミド化後のピーク吸光度面積)/(アミック酸オリゴマーのピーク吸光度面積))
また、本発明のイミドオリゴマー組成物の融点の下限は特に限定されないが、60℃以上であることが好ましい。
また、本発明のイミドオリゴマーの含有量の好ましい上限は特にないが、実質的な上限は98重量部である。
上述したように、本発明のイミドオリゴマー組成物は、硬化性樹脂組成物の硬化剤として用いた場合に高温での機械的強度及び長期耐熱性に優れる硬化物を得ることができる。本発明のイミドオリゴマー組成物を含む硬化剤もまた、本発明の1つである。本発明の硬化性樹脂組成物は、本発明のイミドオリゴマーを含むものとして本発明の硬化剤を含有することが好ましい。
上記他の硬化剤としては、例えば、フェノール系硬化剤、チオール系硬化剤、アミン系硬化剤、酸無水物系硬化剤、シアネート系硬化剤、活性エステル系硬化剤等が挙げられる。なかでも、フェノール系硬化剤、酸無水物系硬化剤、シアネート系硬化剤、活性エステル系硬化剤が好ましい。
上記硬化性樹脂としては、エポキシ樹脂、アクリル樹脂、フェノール樹脂、シアネート樹脂、イソシアネート樹脂、マレイミド樹脂、ベンゾオキサジン樹脂、シリコーン樹脂、フッ素樹脂、ポリイミド樹脂、フェノキシ樹脂等が挙げられる。なかでも、エポキシ樹脂が好適に用いられる。
上記反応性官能基としては、例えば、アミノ基、ウレタン基、イミド基、水酸基、カルボキシル基、エポキシ基等が挙げられる。
上記溶媒としては、塗工性や貯蔵安定性等の観点から、沸点が120℃以下の非極性溶媒又は沸点が120℃以下の非プロトン性極性溶媒が好ましい。
上記沸点が120℃以下の非極性溶媒又は沸点が120℃以下の非プロトン性極性溶媒としては、例えば、ケトン系溶媒、エステル系溶媒、炭化水素系溶媒、ハロゲン系溶媒、エーテル系溶媒、含窒素系溶媒等が挙げられる。
上記ケトン系溶媒としては、例えば、アセトン、メチルエチルケトン、メチルイソブチルケトン等が挙げられる。
上記エステル系溶媒としては、例えば、酢酸メチル、酢酸エチル、酢酸イソブチル等が挙げられる。
上記炭化水素系溶媒としては、例えば、ベンゼン、トルエン、ノルマルヘキサン、イソヘキサン、シクロヘキサン、メチルシクロヘキサン、ノルマルヘプタン等が挙げられる。
上記ハロゲン系溶媒としては、例えば、ジクロロメタン、クロロホルム、トリクロロエチレン等が挙げられる。
上記エーテル系溶媒としては、例えば、ジエチルエーテル、テトラヒドロフラン、1,4-ジオキサン、1,3-ジオキソラン等が挙げられる。
上記含窒素系溶媒としては、例えば、アセトニトリル等が挙げられる。
なかでも、取り扱い性やイミドオリゴマーの溶解性等の観点から、沸点が60℃以上のケトン系溶媒、沸点が60℃以上のエステル系溶媒、及び、沸点が60℃以上のエーテル系溶媒からなる群より選択される少なくとも1種が好ましい。このような溶媒としては、例えば、メチルエチルケトン、メチルイソブチルケトン、酢酸エチル、酢酸イソブチル、1,4-ジオキサン、1,3-ジオキソラン、テトラヒドロフラン等が挙げられる。
なお、上記「沸点」は、101kPaの条件で測定される値、又は、沸点換算図表等で101kPaに換算された値を意味する。
上記反応性希釈剤としては、接着信頼性の観点から、1分子中に2つ以上の反応性官能基を有する反応性希釈剤が好ましい。
また、本発明の硬化性樹脂組成物を基材フィルム上に塗工し、乾燥させることにより、本発明の硬化性樹脂組成物からなる硬化性樹脂組成物フィルムを得ることができる。
なお、上記ガラス転移温度は、厚さ400μmの硬化物について、動的粘弾性測定装置を用い、昇温速度10℃/分、周波数10Hz、チャック間距離24mmで0℃から300℃までの昇温条件で測定した際に得られるtanδカーブのピーク温度として求めることができる。上記ガラス転移温度を測定する硬化物は、上記硬化性樹脂組成物フィルムを190℃で30分加熱することにより得ることができる。上記動的粘弾性測定装置としては、例えば、レオバイブロン動的粘弾性自動測定器DDV-GPシリーズ(エー・アンド・デイ社製)等が挙げられる。
なお、上記重量減少率は、上記硬化性樹脂組成物フィルムについて、熱重量測定装置を用いて、昇温速度10℃/minで30℃から400℃までの昇温条件で熱重量測定を行った際の、330℃までに減少した重量の割合として求めることができる。上記熱重量測定装置としては、例えば、EXTEAR TG/DTA6200(エスアイアイ・ナノテクノロジー社製)等が挙げられる。
なお、上記ポリイミドに対する接着力は、1cm幅に切り出した試験片について、引張試験機を用いて、剥離速度20mm/minの条件でT字剥離を行うことで測定することができる。上記試験片としては、厚さ20μmの上記硬化性樹脂組成物フィルムの両面に厚さ50μmのポリイミドフィルムを積層し、190℃で1時間加熱することにより得られるものが用いられる。上記ポリイミドとしては、カプトン200H(東レ・デュポン社製:表面粗さ0.03~0.07μm)を用いることができる。上記引張試験機としては、例えば、UCT-500(ORIENTEC社製)等が挙げられる。
1,3-ビス(2-(4-アミノフェニル)-2-プロピル)ベンゼン(三井化学ファイン社製、「ビスアニリンM」)34.5重量部をN-メチルピロリドン(和光純薬工業社製、「NMP」)400重量部に溶解させた。得られた溶液に3,4’-オキシジフタル酸二無水物(東京化成工業社製、「3,4’-ODPA」)62.0重量部を添加し、25℃で2時間撹拌して反応させてアミック酸オリゴマー溶液を得た。得られたアミック酸オリゴマー溶液からN-メチルピロリドンを減圧除去した後、300℃で2時間加熱することにより、イミドオリゴマー組成物A(イミド化率92%)を得た。
なお、1H-NMR、GPC、及び、FT-IR分析により、イミドオリゴマー組成物Aは、上記式(1-1)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマー(Aは下記式(13)で表される基、Bは下記式(14)で表される基)を含有することを確認した。また、該式(1-1)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマーの数平均分子量は1380であった。更に、該イミドオリゴマー組成物Aは、上記式(1-1)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマーとして上記式(4-1)で表されるイミドオリゴマー(Aは下記式(13)で表される基、Bは下記式(14)で表される基)を含有することを確認した。
1,3-ビス(2-(4-アミノフェニル)-2-プロピル)ベンゼン34.5重量部を、1,4-ビス(2-(4-アミノフェニル)-2-プロピル)ベンゼン(三井化学ファイン社製、「ビスアニリンP」)34.5重量部に変更したこと以外は合成例1と同様にして、イミドオリゴマー組成物B(イミド化率92%)を得た。
なお、1H-NMR、GPC、及び、FT-IR分析により、イミドオリゴマー組成物Bは、上記式(1-1)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマー(Aは上記式(13)で表される基、Bは下記式(15)で表される基)を含有することを確認した。また、該式(1-1)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマーの数平均分子量は1390であった。更に、該イミドオリゴマー組成物Bは、上記式(1-1)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマーとして上記式(4-1)で表されるイミドオリゴマー(Aは上記式(13)で表される基、Bは下記式(15)で表される基)を含有することを確認した。
1,3-ビス(2-(4-アミノフェニル)-2-プロピル)ベンゼン34.5重量部を、1,3-ビス(3-アミノフェノキシ)ベンゼン(三井化学ファイン社製、「APB-N」)29.2重量部に変更したこと以外は合成例1と同様にして、イミドオリゴマー組成物C(イミド化率91%)を得た。
なお、1H-NMR、GPC、及び、FT-IR分析により、イミドオリゴマー組成物Cは、上記式(1-1)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマー(Aは上記式(13)で表される基、Bは下記式(16)で表される基)を含有することを確認した。また、該イミドオリゴマー組成物Cの数平均分子量は1310であった。更に、該イミドオリゴマー組成物Cは、上記式(1-1)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマーとして上記式(4-1)で表されるイミドオリゴマー(Aは上記式(13)で表される基、Bは下記式(16)で表される基)を含有することを確認した。
3,4’-オキシジフタル酸二無水物62.0重量部を、4,4’-(4,4’-イソプロピリデンジフェノキシ)ジフタル酸無水物(東京化成工業社製)104.1重量部に変更したこと以外は合成例1と同様にして、イミドオリゴマー組成物D(イミド化率93%)を得た。
なお、1H-NMR、GPC、及び、FT-IR分析により、イミドオリゴマー組成物Dは、上記式(1-1)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマー(Aは下記式(17)で表される基、Bは上記式(14)で表される基)を含有することを確認した。また、該式(1-1)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマーの数平均分子量は2020であった。更に、該イミドオリゴマー組成物Dは、上記式(1-1)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマーとして上記式(4-1)で表されるイミドオリゴマー(Aは下記式(17)で表される基、Bは上記式(14)で表される基)を含有することを確認した。
4,4’-(4,4’-イソプロピリデンジフェノキシ)ジフタル酸無水物の添加量を98.9重量部に変更したこと以外は合成例4と同様にして、イミドオリゴマー組成物E(イミド化率91%)を得た。
なお、1H-NMR、GPC、及び、FT-IR分析により、イミドオリゴマー組成物Eは、上記式(1-1)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマー(Aは上記式(17)で表される基、Bは上記式(14)で表される基)を含有することを確認した。また、該式(1-1)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマーの数平均分子量は2520であった。更に、該イミドオリゴマー組成物Eは、上記式(1-1)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマーとして上記式(4-1)で表されるイミドオリゴマー(Aは下記式(17)で表される基、Bは上記式(14)で表される基)を含有することを確認した。
3,4’-オキシジフタル酸二無水物の添加量を65.1重量部に変更したこと以外は合成例1と同様にして、イミドオリゴマー組成物F(イミド化率92%)を得た。
なお、1H-NMR、GPC、及び、FT-IR分析により、イミドオリゴマー組成物Fは、上記式(1-1)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマー(Aは上記式(13)で表される基、Bは上記式(14)で表される基)を含有することを確認した。また、該式(1-1)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマーの数平均分子量は1220であった。更に、該イミドオリゴマー組成物Fは、上記式(1-1)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマーとして上記式(4-1)で表されるイミドオリゴマー(Aは上記式(13)で表される基、Bは上記式(14)で表される基)を含有することを確認した。
1,3-ビス(2-(4-アミノフェニル)-2-プロピル)ベンゼン(三井化学ファイン社製、「ビスアニリンM」)34.5重量部をN-メチルピロリドン(和光純薬工業社製、「NMP」)400重量部に溶解させた。得られた溶液に3,4’-オキシジフタル酸二無水物(東京化成工業社製、「3,4’-ODPA」)62.0重量部を添加し、25℃で2時間撹拌して反応させてアミック酸オリゴマー溶液を得た。得られたアミック酸オリゴマー溶液を、N-メチルピロリドン中で、イミド化に伴い発生する水をディーンスターク管にて除去しながら、180℃で3時間加熱した後、N-メチルピロリドンを減圧除去することにより、イミドオリゴマー組成物G(イミド化率23%)を得た。
なお、1H-NMR、GPC、及び、FT-IR分析により、イミドオリゴマー組成物Gは、上記式(1-1)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマー(Aは上記式(13)で表される基、Bは上記式(14)で表される基)を含有することを確認した。また、該式(1-1)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマーの数平均分子量は1400であった。更に、該イミドオリゴマー組成物Gは、上記式(1-1)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマーとして上記式(4-1)で表されるイミドオリゴマー(Aは上記式(13)で表される基、Bは上記式(14)で表される基)を含有することを確認した。
4,4’-(4,4’-イソプロピリデンジフェノキシ)ジフタル酸無水物の添加量を78.1重量部に変更したこと以外は合成例4と同様にして、イミドオリゴマー組成物H(イミド化率91%)を得た。
なお、1H-NMR、GPC、及び、FT-IR分析により、イミドオリゴマー組成物Hは、上記式(1-1)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマー(Aは上記式(17)で表される基、Bは上記式(14)で表される基)を含有することを確認した。また、該式(1-1)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマーの数平均分子量は4200であった。
3,4’-オキシジフタル酸二無水物の添加量を71.4重量部に変更したこと以外は合成例1と同様にして、イミドオリゴマー組成物I(イミド化率91%)を得た。
なお、1H-NMR、GPC、及び、FT-IR分析により、イミドオリゴマー組成物Iは、上記式(1-1)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマー(Aは上記式(13)で表される基、Bは上記式(14)で表される基)を含有することを確認した。また、該式(1-1)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマーの数平均分子量は830であった。
3,4’-オキシジフタル酸二無水物の添加量を46.5重量部に変更したこと以外は合成例7と同様にして、イミドオリゴマー組成物J(イミド化率25%)を得た。
なお、1H-NMR、GPC、及び、FT-IR分析により、イミドオリゴマー組成物Jは、上記式(1-1)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマー(Aは上記式(13)で表される基、Bは上記式(14)で表される基)を含有することを確認した。また、該式(1-1)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマーの数平均分子量は4240であった。
3,4’-オキシジフタル酸二無水物の添加量を71.4重量部に変更したこと以外は合成例7と同様にして、イミドオリゴマー組成物K(イミド化率25%)を得た。
なお、1H-NMR、GPC、及び、FT-IR分析により、イミドオリゴマー組成物Kは、上記式(1-1)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマー(Aは上記式(13)で表される基、Bは上記式(14)で表される基)を含有することを確認した。また、該式(1-1)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマーの数平均分子量は850であった。
メチルエチルケトン500重量部中で、合成例1により得られたイミドオリゴマー組成物A70重量部と合成例7により得られたイミドオリゴマー組成物G30重量部とを混合した後、メチルエチルケトンを減圧除去することにより、イミドオリゴマー組成物L(イミド化率71%)を得た。
なお、1H-NMR、GPC、及び、FT-IR分析により、イミドオリゴマー組成物Lは、上記式(1-1)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマー(Aは上記式(13)で表される基、Bは上記式(14)で表される基)を含有することを確認した。また、該式(1-1)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマーの数平均分子量は1390であった。更に、該イミドオリゴマー組成物Lは、上記式(1-1)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマーとして上記式(4-1)で表されるイミドオリゴマー(Aは上記式(13)で表される基、Bは上記式(14)で表される基)を含有することを確認した。
5-アミノ-o-クレゾール24.6重量部をN-メチルピロリドン(和光純薬工業社製、「NMP」)400重量部に溶解させた。得られた溶液に3,4’-オキシジフタル酸二無水物(東京化成工業社製、「3,4’-ODPA」)31.0重量部を添加し、25℃で2時間撹拌して反応させてアミック酸オリゴマー溶液を得た。得られたアミック酸オリゴマー溶液からN-メチルピロリドンを減圧除去した後、300℃で2時間加熱することにより、イミドオリゴマー組成物M(イミド化率91%)を得た。
なお、1H-NMR、GPC、及び、FT-IR分析により、イミドオリゴマー組成物Mは、上記式(1-2)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマー(Aは上記式(13)で表される基、Arは下記式(18)で表される基)を含有することを確認した。また、該式(1-2)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマーの数平均分子量は650であった。更に、該イミドオリゴマー組成物Mは、上記式(1-2)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマーとして上記式(5-1)で表されるイミドオリゴマー(Aは上記式(13)で表される基、Rはメチル基)を含有することを確認した。
5-アミノ-o-クレゾール24.6重量部を、3-アミノフェノール21.8重量部に変更したこと以外は合成例13と同様にして、イミドオリゴマー組成物N(イミド化率90%)を得た。
なお、1H-NMR、GPC、及び、FT-IR分析により、イミドオリゴマー組成物Nは、上記式(1-2)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマー(Aは上記式(13)で表される基、Arは下記式(19)で表される基)を含有することを確認した。また、該式(1-2)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマーの数平均分子量は630であった。更に、該イミドオリゴマー組成物Nは、上記式(1-2)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマーとして上記式(5-1)で表されるイミドオリゴマー(Aは上記式(13)で表される基、Rは水素原子)を含有することを確認した。
3,4’-オキシジフタル酸二無水物31.0重量部を、4,4’-(4,4’-イソプロピリデンジフェノキシ)ジフタル酸無水物52.0重量部に変更したこと以外は合成例13と同様にして、イミドオリゴマー組成物O(イミド化率92%)を得た。
なお、1H-NMR、GPC、及び、FT-IR分析により、イミドオリゴマー組成物Oは、上記式(1-2)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマー(Aは上記式(17)で表される基、Arは上記式(18)で表される基)を含有することを確認した。また、該式(1-2)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマーの数平均分子量は910であった。更に、該イミドオリゴマー組成物Oは、上記式(1-2)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマーとして、上記式(5-1)で表されるイミドオリゴマー(Aは上記式(17)で表される基、Rはメチル基)を含有することを確認した。
3,4’-オキシジフタル酸二無水物31.0重量部を、合成例5で得られたイミドオリゴマー組成物E135.0重量部に変更したこと以外は合成例13と同様にして、イミドオリゴマー組成物P(イミド化率91%)を得た。
なお、1H-NMR、GPC、及び、FT-IR分析により、イミドオリゴマー組成物Pは、上記式(1-2)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマー(Aは上記式(17)で表される基、Arは上記式(18)で表される基)を含有することを確認した。また、該式(1-2)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマーの数平均分子量は2960であった。更に、該イミドオリゴマー組成物Pは、上記式(1-2)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマーとして上記式(5-3)で表されるイミドオリゴマー(Aは上記式(17)で表される基、Bは上記式(14)で表される基、Rはメチル基)を含有することを確認した。
5-アミノ-o-クレゾールの添加量を25.9重量部に変更したこと以外は合成例13と同様にして、イミドオリゴマー組成物Q(イミド化率91%)を得た。
なお、1H-NMR、GPC、及び、FT-IR分析により、イミドオリゴマー組成物Qは、上記式(1-2)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマー(Aは上記式(13)で表される基、Arは上記式(18)で表される基)を含有することを確認した。また、該式(1-2)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマーの数平均分子量は590であった。更に、該イミドオリゴマー組成物Qは、上記式(1-2)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマーとして上記式(5-1)で表されるイミドオリゴマー(Aは上記式(13)で表される基、Rはメチル基)を含有することを確認した。
5-アミノ-o-クレゾール24.6重量部をN-メチルピロリドン(和光純薬工業社製、「NMP」)400重量部に溶解させた。得られた溶液に3,4’-オキシジフタル酸二無水物(東京化成工業社製、「3,4’-ODPA」)31.0重量部を添加し、25℃で2時間撹拌して反応させてアミック酸オリゴマー溶液を得た。得られたアミック酸オリゴマー溶液を、N-メチルピロリドン中で、イミド化に伴い発生する水をディーンスターク管にて除去しながら、180℃で3時間加熱した後、N-メチルピロリドンを減圧除去することにより、イミドオリゴマー組成物R(イミド化率25%)を得た。
なお、1H-NMR、GPC、及び、FT-IR分析により、イミドオリゴマー組成物Rは、上記式(1-2)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマー(Aは上記式(13)で表される基、Arは上記式(18)で表される基)を含有することを確認した。また、該式(1-2)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマーの数平均分子量は680であった。更に、該イミドオリゴマー組成物Rは、上記式(1-2)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマーとして上記式(5-1)で表されるイミドオリゴマー(Aは上記式(13)で表される基、Rはメチル基)を含有することを確認した。
3,4’-オキシジフタル酸二無水物31.0重量部を、合成例8で得られたイミドオリゴマー組成物H180.0重量部に変更したこと以外は合成例13と同様にして、イミドオリゴマー組成物S(イミド化率90%)を得た。
なお、1H-NMR、GPC、及び、FT-IR分析により、イミドオリゴマー組成物Sは、上記式(1-2)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマー(Aは上記式(17)で表される基、Arは上記式(18)で表される基)を含有することを確認した。また、該式(1-2)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマーの数平均分子量は4610であった。
5-アミノ-o-クレゾールの添加量を26.9重量部に変更したこと以外は合成例13と同様にして、イミドオリゴマー組成物T(イミド化率90%)を得た。
なお、1H-NMR、GPC、及び、FT-IR分析により、イミドオリゴマー組成物Tは、上記式(1-2)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマー(Aは上記式(13)で表される基、Arは上記式(18)で表される基)を含有することを確認した。また、該式(1-2)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマーの数平均分子量は490であった。
3,4’-オキシジフタル酸二無水物31.0重量部を、合成例8で得られたイミドオリゴマー組成物H180.0重量部に変更したこと以外は合成例18と同様にして、イミドオリゴマー組成物U(イミド化率26%)を得た。
なお、1H-NMR、GPC、及び、FT-IR分析により、イミドオリゴマー組成物Uは、上記式(1-2)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマー(Aは上記式(17)で表される基、Arは上記式(18)で表される基)を含有することを確認した。また、該式(1-2)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマーの数平均分子量は4650であった。
5-アミノ-o-クレゾールの添加量を26.9重量部に変更したこと以外は合成例18と同様にして、イミドオリゴマー組成物V(イミド化率23%)を得た。
なお、1H-NMR、GPC、及び、FT-IR分析により、イミドオリゴマー組成物Vは、上記式(1-2)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマー(Aは上記式(13)で表される基、Arは上記式(18)で表される基)を含有することを確認した。また、該式(1-2)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマーの数平均分子量は520であった。
メチルエチルケトン500重量部中で、合成例13により得られたイミドオリゴマー組成物M70重量部と合成例18により得られたイミドオリゴマー組成物R30重量部とを混合した後、メチルエチルケトンを減圧除去することにより、イミドオリゴマー組成物W(イミド化率71%)を得た。
なお、1H-NMR、GPC、及び、FT-IR分析により、イミドオリゴマー組成物Wは、上記式(1-2)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマー(Aは上記式(13)で表される基、Arは上記式(18)で表される基)を含有することを確認した。また、該式(1-2)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマーの数平均分子量は660であった。更に、該イミドオリゴマー組成物Wは、上記式(1-2)で表される構造を有するイミドオリゴマーとして上記式(5-1)で表されるイミドオリゴマー(Aは上記式(13)で表される基、Rはメチル基)を含有することを確認した。
合成例で得られた各イミドオリゴマー組成物を、メチルエチルケトン(MEK)、テトラヒドロフラン(THF)、及び、ビスフェノールF型エポキシ樹脂(DIC社製、「EPICLON EXA-830CRP」)に溶解させた。MEK、THF、及び、ビスフェノールF型エポキシ樹脂の各10gに対して溶解したイミドオリゴマー組成物が3g以上であったものを「○」、1g以上3g未満であったものを「△」、1g未満であったものを「×」として溶解性を評価した。
なお、MEK及びTHFにおいては、MEK又はTHF10gに対してイミドオリゴマー組成物を所定量加えた後、遊星式撹拌機を用いて撹拌を行った後に25℃における溶解性を評価した。EXA-830CRPにおいては、EXA-830CRP10gに対してイミドオリゴマー組成物を所定量加えた後、150℃に加熱しながら1時間撹拌を行い、その後冷却した後に25℃における溶解性を評価した。
結果を表1に示した。
合成例で得られた各イミドオリゴマー組成物について、示差走査熱量計(エスアイアイ・ナノテクノロジー社製、「EXTEAR DSC6100」)を用いて10℃/minにて昇温した際の吸熱ピークの温度を融点として測定した。
結果を表1に示した。
表2~8に記載された配合比に従い、各材料を撹拌混合し、実施例1~24、比較例1~10の各硬化性樹脂組成物を作製した。
実施例及び比較例で得られた各硬化性樹脂組成物について以下の評価を行った。結果を表2~8に示した。
実施例及び比較例で得られた各硬化性樹脂組成物を基材フィルム上に塗工し、乾燥させることにより、硬化性樹脂組成物フィルムを得た。
得られた硬化性樹脂組成物フィルムについて、熱重量測定装置(エスアイアイ・ナノテクノロジー社製、「EXTEAR TG/DTA6200」)を用いて、30℃から400℃まで10℃/minで昇温し、330℃における重量減少率(%)を測定した。
実施例及び比較例で得られた各硬化性樹脂組成物を基材フィルム上に塗工し、乾燥させることにより、硬化性樹脂組成物フィルムを得た。得られた硬化性樹脂組成物フィルムを積層し、190℃で30分加熱することにより硬化させ、厚さ400μmの硬化物を作製した。得られた硬化物について、動的粘弾性測定装置(エー・アンド・デイ社製、「レオバイブロンDDV-25GP」)を用い、昇温速度10℃/分、周波数10Hz、チャック間距離24mmで0℃から300℃まで昇温した際に得られたtanδカーブのピーク温度をガラス転移温度として求めた。ガラス転移温度が150℃以上であった場合を「○」、130℃以上150℃未満であった場合を「△」、130℃未満であった場合を「×」として評価した。
実施例及び比較例で得られた各硬化性樹脂組成物を基材フィルム上に塗工し、乾燥させることにより、硬化性樹脂組成物フィルムを得た。得られた厚さ20μmの硬化性樹脂組成物フィルムの両面に厚さ20μmのポリイミドフィルム(東レ・デュポン社製、「カプトンV」)を積層し、190℃で1時間加熱することにより硬化させた後、175℃で1000時間熱処理を行った。熱処理後の硬化性樹脂組成物フィルムとポリイミドフィルムとの積層体を常温で直径5mm又は3mmの円柱に半円状に沿わせた後、硬化性樹脂組成物フィルムとポリイミドフィルムとの積層体の状態を目視にて観察した。
積層体を3mmの円柱に半円状に沿わせてもひびや割れが全く確認されなかった場合を「○」、5mmの円柱に半円状に沿わせてもひびや割れが確認されなかったが、3mmの円柱に半円状に沿わせるとひびや割れが確認された場合を「△」、5mmの円柱に半円状に沿わせるとひびや割れが確認された場合を「×」として長期耐熱性を評価した。
実施例及び比較例で得られた各硬化性樹脂組成物を厚みが約20μmとなるように基材PETフィルム上に塗工し、乾燥させることにより、硬化性樹脂組成物フィルムを得た。得られた硬化性樹脂組成物フィルムからPETフィルムを剥離し、ラミネーターを用いて、80℃に加熱しながら接着剤層の両面に厚さ50μmのポリイミドフィルム(東レ・デュポン社製、「カプトン200H」)を貼り合わせた。190℃、3MPa、1時間の条件で熱プレスを行い、接着層を硬化させた後、1cm幅に切り出して試験片を得た。
得られた試験片について、引張試験機(ORIENTEC社製、「UCT-500」)により、剥離速度20mm/minでT字剥離を行い、接着力を測定した。
接着力が6N/cm以上であった場合を「○」、3.4N/cm以上6N/cm未満であった場合を「△」、3.4N/cm未満であった場合を「×」として接着性を評価した。
Claims (16)
- 硬化性樹脂とイミドオリゴマーとを含有し、
前記イミドオリゴマーとして、下記式(1-1)で表される構造を有し、数平均分子量が900以上4000以下であるイミドオリゴマー、及び、下記式(1-2)で表される構造を有し、数平均分子量が550以上4000以下であるイミドオリゴマーの少なくともいずれかを含有する
ことを特徴とする硬化性樹脂組成物。
- 前記イミドオリゴマーとして、下記式(4-1)、下記式(4-2)、下記式(4-3)、又は、下記式(4-4)で表されるイミドオリゴマー、及び、下記式(5-1)、下記式(5-2)、下記式(5-3)、又は、下記式(5-4)で表されるイミドオリゴマーの少なくともいずれかを含有する請求項1記載の硬化性樹脂組成物。
- 前記イミドオリゴマーは、構造中にシロキサン骨格を有さないイミドオリゴマーである請求項1又は2記載の硬化性樹脂組成物。
- 前記イミドオリゴマーは、融点が200℃以下のイミドオリゴマーである請求項1、2又は3記載の硬化性樹脂組成物。
- 硬化物の330℃における重量減少率が2.5%未満である請求項1、2、3又は4記載の硬化性樹脂組成物。
- ポリイミドに対する接着力が3.4N/cm以上である請求項1、2、3、4又は5記載の硬化性樹脂組成物。
- 硬化物のガラス転移温度が150℃以上である請求項1、2、3、4、5又は6記載の硬化性樹脂組成物。
- 請求項1、2、3、4、5、6又は7記載の硬化性樹脂組成物を含む接着剤。
- 下記式(1-1)で表される構造を有し、数平均分子量が900以上4000以下であるか、又は、下記式(1-2)で表される構造を有し、数平均分子量が550以上4000以下であることを特徴とするイミドオリゴマー。
- 下記式(4-1)、下記式(4-2)、下記式(4-3)、若しくは、下記式(4-4)で表されるイミドオリゴマー、又は、下記式(5-1)、下記式(5-2)、下記式(5-3)、若しくは、下記式(5-4)で表されるイミドオリゴマーである請求項9記載のイミドオリゴマー。
- 構造中にシロキサン骨格を有さないイミドオリゴマーである請求項9又は10記載のイミドオリゴマー。
- 融点が200℃以下のイミドオリゴマーである請求項9、10又は11記載のイミドオリゴマー。
- 融点が240℃以下の芳香族性酸二無水物を原料に用いる請求項9、10、11又は12記載のイミドオリゴマー。
- 請求項9、10、11、12又は13記載のイミドオリゴマーを含有し、イミド化率が70%以上であるイミドオリゴマー組成物。
- 25℃においてテトラヒドロフラン10gに対して3g以上溶解する請求項14記載のイミドオリゴマー組成物。
- 請求項14又は15記載のイミドオリゴマー組成物を含む硬化剤。
