Description
(1-1.介助装置1の概要)
介助装置1は、被介助者M(図4などを参照)の上半身を支持して、座位姿勢にある被介助者Mの方向転換を行い、別の位置に再び着座させる移乗動作の補助を行う。本実施形態の移動動作の補助において、介助装置1は、座位姿勢の被介助者Mの臀部Mtを座面から上昇させる動作(臀部上昇動作)の補助、および方向転換の後に臀部Mtを下降させて着座させる動作(臀部下降動作)の補助を行う。
以下に、介助装置1の構成について、図1-図3を主に参照して説明する。介助装置1は、図1-図3に示すように、回転装置10、スライド装置20、基台30、支持装置40、および制御装置60を備える。回転装置10は、床面Fに設置され、上面に設けられるスライド装置20などを回転可能に支持する。回転装置10は、固定部11、回転台12、回転規制部13、第一操作ペダル14、および角度決め装置15を備える。
介助装置1による移乗動作を補助する処理について、図4~図9を参照して説明する。ここで、介助装置1は、例えば介助施設において移動目標が設けられた部屋に設置される。本実施形態において、介助施設は、図7に示すように、移動目標としての便器85が設置されたトイレ室80を備える。トイレ室80は、便器85の前後方向に対向して配置された前壁81と後壁82、および便器85の左右方向に対向して配置された一対の側壁83により区画されている。トイレ室80の出入り口84は、便器85の側方に位置する側壁83に設けられている。
以上説明したように、本明細書に開示する介助装置1は、部屋(トイレ室80)の床面Fに設けられ、鉛直方向に平行な軸線A1周りに回転可能な回転台12と、回転台12に設けられ、水平方向にスライド可能なスライド部材22と、スライド部材22に設けられ、被介助者Mの上半身を支持する支持部材50と、を備える。スライド部材22は、部屋(トイレ室80)の外側であって支持部材50に被介助者Mが乗降する位置(第一位置P1)と、部屋(トイレ室80)の内側であって支持部材50に支持された被介助者Mを部屋(トイレ室80)に入室した状態とする位置(第二位置P2)と、の間で支持部材50をスライドさせる。
このような構成によると、介助者等がスライド部材22をスライドさせる際に第一位置P1や第二位置P2に位置決めすることが容易となり、介助装置1の操作性を向上できる。
このような構成によると、駆動装置42によって支持部材50を動作させて被介助者Mの上半身を昇降させることができる。このように、介助者の負荷が高い介助動作について駆動装置42の補助を利用できるので、介助者の負荷を軽減できる。
このような構成によると、回転規制部13によって回転台12を任意の角度で停止させたり、回転の規制を解除して自由に回転可能にしたりすることができる。これにより、例えば被介助者Mの乗り降りや、スライド部材22のスライドの途中で必要に応じて回転台12の回転を停止でき、介助装置1の動作を安定させることができる。
このような構成によると、被介助者Mの質量を合わせた介助装置1を回転させたりスライドさせたりする際に必要な動力を操作部33から与えることができる。これにより、例えば介助者は、支持部材50を両手で支持しながら脚力をもって回転台12を回転させたり、スライド部材22をスライドさせたりすることができる。これにより、介助装置1の操作性を向上でき、介助者および被介助者Mの負担をより軽減できる。
トイレ室80は、特に室内のスペースが限られ、出入り口84も大きく間取りされていないことがある。このようなトイレ室80における移乗においては、被介助者Mの入退室と、移動目標としての便器85までの移動を狭い室内において確実に補助されることが求められる。これに対して、上記のような構成を備える介助装置1によると、トイレ室80の外側における乗降を可能としつつコンパクトに方向転換が行え、さらに便器85まで被介助者Mを確実に移動させることができる。よって、本実施形態にて例示した構成の介助装置1をトイレ室80に設置することが特に有用である。
(3-1.回転装置10、スライド装置20について)
実施形態において、介助装置1が設置される部屋は、移動目標としての便器85を備えるトイレ室80であるものとした。この他に、介助装置1は、種々の部屋に設置される構成としてもよい。この場合やトイレ室80において出入り口84が側壁83でなく後壁82などに設けられている場合には、回転台12の回転可能な角度範囲Raは、90度でなく180度など種々の角度範囲に設定されてもよい。
実施形態において、支持装置40の駆動装置42は、油圧式であるものとした。これに対して、駆動装置42は、座位姿勢にある被介助者Mの臀部Mtを座面から離間させるように支持部材50をスライド部材22に対して移動可能であれば種々の態様を採用し得る。例えば、駆動装置42は、ガススプリングなどの弾性装置であってもよいし、支持部材50の角度を維持したまま上昇可能な昇降装置であってもよい。また、駆動装置42は、支持部材50を揺動させる揺動装置と昇降させる昇降装置とを備える構成としてもよい。
