In the measured DSC curve, the crystallization temperature was determined as the maximum point of the exothermic peak at cooling, and the melting temperature was determined as the maximum point of the endothermic peak at the second elevated temperature.
- DSC Differential Scanning Calorimeter 2920
- Tc and Tm are a methyl group located next to a nitrogen atom (N) in a catalyst compound used in the preparation of ethylene and a 1-octene copolymer. Because of the presence of the catalyst compound has a chiral center (chiral center), the three-dimensional properties of the catalyst is changed, resulting in a heterogeneous ethylene and 1-octene copolymer.
- N nitrogen atom
- Tc it is difficult to confirm the numerical value due to the low one peak intensity.
- one Tc and Tm peaks were observed due to the structural difference in which only one methyl group was substituted in the dibenzothiophene fused cyclopentadienyl ring group.
- the copolymer of 1-octene and ethylene of Examples 1 to 4 prepared using the catalyst composition containing the transition metal compound according to the present invention has a lower density than that of the comparative example. Low Tc and Tm. From these results, the transition metal compounds according to the present invention are very stably maintained in a pentagonal ring structure around the metal site by amino groups linked in a ring form to the phenylene bridge, and thus the monomers are easily accessed structurally.
- the reactivity of the olefin monomer with high steric hindrance, such as 1-octene, is relatively excellent, thereby making it possible to prepare an ultra low density olefin polymer having a density of 0.866 g / cc or less with low Tc and Tm.

(Chem. Rev. 2003, 103, 283).
Commun. 2003, 1034). Chem. 2000, 608, 71).
