Abstract
Description
このような振動体には様々な部品が装着されており、例えば、装着部品として、エキゾーストマニホールドカバー、ヒートインシュレーターなどと称される遮蔽体がある。
遮蔽体は、一般的に、対向配置される二枚の金属板を備え、振動体から発せられる熱、音などの物理的エネルギーが、エンジン周りの他の部品や車外へ伝達するのを遮蔽するように構成されている。
このような遮蔽体は、振動体からの振動を直接又は間接的に受けて、破損したり異音を発生したりすることがある。
例えば、特許文献1に記載の連結具は、振動体と遮蔽体との間に、重量調整されたおもり部材(ダンプマス)を備えるグロメットを介在させて、遮蔽体の振動を抑制するようになっている。
また、遮蔽体100は、二枚の金属板の間に形成される空隙に満たされる空気層が抵抗となり、振動体10の振動に伴う音、熱などの物理的エネルギーをエンジン周りの他の部品や車外への伝達を遮蔽するように構成されている。
以下、連結具1及び遮蔽体100それぞれの構成について説明する。
本実施形態に係る連結具1(1A,1B)は、図1~8に示すように、第一部材2,第二部材3、圧縮コイルバネ4(4a,4b)、スペーサー5(5a,5b)を備え、遮蔽体100をスペーサー5a,5bの間に挟持可能に構成されている。
なお、図1、図2、図6、図7及び図8では、遮蔽体100の一部(取り付け孔103の周縁部)のみを表している。
第二部材3は、中央に孔312の形成されたリベット形状を有し、フランジ部30と、筒状の胴部31とを備えている。胴部31の先端側には段部311が形成されており、この段部311に第一部材2の孔21が嵌合されて、ボビン状に組み立てられる。
スペーサー5a、5bは、例えば、鉄、ステンレスなどの金属から構成され、圧縮コイルバネ4a,4bに挟まれた状態で、遮蔽体100に形成される取り付け孔103の内縁部を挟持する環状部材である。
スペーサー5bは、図4に示すように、バネ設置部51と、その外周に環状凸部52とが形成され、環状凸部52の内周側に圧縮コイルバネ4bを収容可能としてある。この環状凸部51により、スペーサー5bに対する圧縮コイルバネ4bの径方向の位置ずれが規制される。
スペーサー5aは、スペーサー5bと同様、バネ設置部51、環状凸部52、壁部53、及び環状凹部54を備えており、スペーサー5bを単に天地逆さに載置したものである。遮蔽体100との関係では、壁部53が遮蔽体100の面方向の位置ずれを規制し、環状凹部53が遮蔽体100との接触面積の減少させるように作用する。
圧縮コイルバネ4aを、貫通孔40を胴部31に挿通させながら、曲率の小さい側の端部42がスペーサー5aに当接するように載置する。また、スペーサー5aには、スペーサー5bと同様に、バネ設置部51と、その外周に環状凸部52とが形成されていることから、環状凸部52の内周側に圧縮コイルバネ4aが収められるとともに、この環状凸部52により、スペーサー5aに対する圧縮コイルバネ4aの径方向の位置ずれが規制される。
また、このように組み立てられた状態では、図6に示すように、スペーサー5a及びスペーサー5bそれぞれに形成された壁部53が相互に行き違って交差するように形成されている。これにより、スペーサー5aの壁部53が圧縮コイルバネ4bの径方向の位置ずれを、スペーサー5bの壁部53が圧縮コイルバネ4aの径方向の位置ずれを、それぞれ規制するようになっている。
なお、前述の第一部材2及び第二部材3の他の実施形態、スペーサー5の他の実施形態を用いて組み立てられたものが、図6(b)、図7(b)及び図8に示す連結具1Bである。
このような構成により、連結具1が以下のように動作して、振動体10から発せられる振動を積極的に吸収して、遮蔽体100への振動の伝達を抑制する。
特に、圧縮コイルバネ4は、曲率が連続的に変化する圧縮コイルバネであることから、無負荷時と負荷時とで端部41と端部42の位置が入れ替わるまで変位することができ、バネの巻き(高さ)方向に対する変位量を十分に確保できるとともに、径方向にも変位可能であることから、遮蔽体100への振動の伝達が確実に抑制される。
図7(c)に示す図表には、図7(a)及び(b)に示すA~Lの各記号に対応する寸法として設計値が記載されている。
設計値は、製品として製作された連結具1Bの実寸法とほぼ一致しており、この値は好ましい数値範囲の中から選択された一つの値に過ぎず、他の設計値を採用可能であることはいうまでもない。
また、振動体10(連結具1Bの取り付け面)から面30aまでの距離Cは、3.0mm以上となることが好ましい。
また、スペーサー5の内半径からフランジ部20,30の外半径を減算した差分Gは、3.0mm以上となることが好ましい。
また、圧縮コイルバネ4の無負荷時の高さは、圧縮時の高さ(例えば、2mm)に3.0mmを加えた値以上となることが好ましい。
なお、図表中の設計値における数値の記載がない部分においても、具体的な数値が設定されるものの、限定的な解釈を避けるため、便宜上「適宜」と記載してある。
また、図11(b)に示す連結具1D-2は、連結具1D-1からスペーサー5を除いた実施形態である。この例では、圧縮コイルバネ4に対する遮蔽体100の面方向の位置ずれを規制するために、遮蔽体100の取り付け孔103の周縁部に、図9に示すバネ規制部105a,105bを設けることが好ましい。
この例では、各フランジ部20,30の外径よりも、スペーサー5の内径及び取り付け孔103の孔径の方が小さく形成されている。
また、図12(b)に示す連結具1E-2は、連結具1E-1からスペーサー5を除いた実施形態である。この例でも、圧縮コイルバネ4に対する遮蔽体100の面方向の位置ずれを規制するために、遮蔽体100の取り付け孔103の周縁部に、図9に示すバネ規制部105a,105bを設けることが好ましい。
遮蔽体100は、所定の金属板を、図13に示すように、被覆対象となる振動体10の外形に合わせた形状に成形加工したものからなる。
本実施形態の遮蔽体100は、例えば、二枚の金属板を重ね合わせた二重構造を有している。この二枚の金属板の間には、所定の断熱材等を挟装させることもできるし、何ら挟装させない構成とすることもできる。
また、金属板は、スペーサー5とは異なる金属であることが好ましく、例えば、スペーサー5を鉄やステンレスで形成したときには、金属板をアルミニウムで形成することができる。
また、金属板の表面には凹凸加工が施されていることが好ましい。
この完成品は、連結具1を介してエンジンなどの振動体10に固定されることになるが、連結具1の作用により、振動体10が発生する振動の遮蔽体100への伝達が抑制される。
基礎データとして、例えば、本実施形態で採用した圧縮コイルバネ4のバネ定数、連結具により得られる振動減衰特性、制振特性、振動音出力特性を開示する。
圧縮コイルバネ4は、ステンレス製、曲率の大きい側の端部41の内径φ11mm、曲率の小さい側の端部42の外径φ28mm、無負荷時の高さ6mm、線径φ1mm、有効巻き数1のものを用いた。
バネ定数は、図14(a)に示す方法(JIS B2704-1に準拠)により測定した。
このとき、可動部61の圧縮コイルバネ4との対向面(下面)に設けられた荷重変換器(ロードセル)により、圧縮コイルバネ4の反発力(荷重)を測定した。
可動部61を、無負荷時の高さ6mmを始点に徐々に降下させ、圧縮コイルバネ4がほぼ平になる圧縮状態を超え、さらには、端部41と端部42の天地が逆転した状態となる3mm下方まで移動させた。
この関係から無負荷状態から圧縮状態までのバネ定数は約0.3N/mm、圧縮状態を超えて端部41と端部42の天地が逆転した状態のバネ定数は約0.6N/mmとなることが分かる。
このようなバネ定数は、最適な値として採用可能であるものの、好ましい数値範囲の中から選択された一つの値に過ぎず、好ましい数値範囲は上記の値を包含する、例えば、0.1~10N/mmとすることができる。
このような好ましい数値範囲以外のバネ定数を有する圧縮コイルバネ4を採用すると、例えば、バネ定数が0.1N/mm未満では、軟らか過ぎて腰がなくなり振動時に他部品との干渉回避が困難となり、10N/mmを超えると、強ばり過ぎて振動を遮蔽体100に直接伝達させるおそれがあり、本発明の奏功を得ることができない。
振動減衰特性を、図15(a)に示す方法により測定した。
この方法は、制振鋼板の振動減衰特性試験方法(JIS G0602-1993)を利用したものである。
このような関係から振動特性を示す指標として損失係数を求めることができる。損失係数は、共振ピーク時において、図15(c)に示す半値幅法により0.07という値が算出された。
損失係数は、値が大きくなるほど振動減衰効果が高くなる特性を示しており、ちなみに、被打撃体71に連結具1を介することなく試験体74を取り付けたときの損失係数が0.006であったため、連結具1(1B)により振動の伝達が抑制されていることが確認された。
遮蔽体10を実際のエンジンに取り付け、連結具1(1B)によるエンジンから伝達される振動の吸収度合を測定した。
4気筒直列エンジンに付設されるエキゾーストマニホールド部分を、遮蔽体10で覆うように取り付け、エンジンの回転数を1000~6000rpmの間で変化させながら、エンジンの振動(加速度)と遮蔽体10の振動(加速度)とを測定した。
振動の測定は、エキゾーストマニホールド及び遮蔽体10のそれぞれに加速度センサ(加速度ピックアップ)を取り付け、それより出力される振動特性を測定した。
図16(a)は、エンジン回転数と遮蔽体10の振動(加速度)との関係を示すグラフである。
エキゾーストマニホールドの振動の最大値(加速度)110m/s2に対して、遮蔽体10の振動の最大値(加速度)が32m/s2であったため、連結具1(1B)により振動の伝達が抑制されていることが確認された。
制振特性と同様に、遮蔽体10を実際のエンジンに取り付け、エンジンから直接出音される振動音(音圧レベル)と、遮蔽体10を介して間接的に出音される振動音(音圧レベル)とを測定した。
エンジン及び遮蔽体10から所定距離(例えば、100mm)離れた位置にマイクをそれぞれ設置して、エンジンと遮蔽体10からの振動音を測定した。
図16(b)は、エンジン回転数と遮蔽体10からの振動音(音圧レベル)との関係を示すグラフである。
例えば、エンジン回転数4000rpmまでのOA(オーバーオール)値で比較すると、エンジンからの振動音86.5dBに対して、遮蔽体10からの振動音85.4dBであったため、連結具1(1B)により振動音が抑制されていることが確認された。

Claims (4)
- 振動を発生する振動体と、前記振動体から発せられる所定の物理的エネルギーを遮る板状の遮蔽体との連結部分に設けられる連結具であって、
前記遮蔽体を間に介在可能な間隔を空けて対向配置される第一及び第二の面と、
貫通孔を有するとともにこの貫通孔を中心として所定の線材を曲率が連続して変化する渦巻き状に巻回させ伸縮可能に形成された付勢部材と、
前記遮蔽体に形成される孔及び前記貫通孔に挿通されるとともに第一及び第二の面間の距離を一定の間隔に保持する保持部と、を備え、
前記付勢部材は、
第一の面と前記遮蔽体との間に配置されるとともに伸縮方向において曲率の小さい側を前記遮蔽体側に臨ませて配置される第一の付勢部材と、
第二の面と前記遮蔽体との間に配置されるとともに伸縮方向において曲率の小さい側を前記遮蔽体側に臨ませて配置される第二の付勢部材と、を有する
ことを特徴とする連結具。 - 前記遮蔽体に形成される孔の内縁部を挟持するように対向配置されるとともに第一の付勢部材及び第二の付勢部材の曲率の小さい側にそれぞれ当接する第一及び第二の環状部材を備え、
第一及び第二の環状部材は、
第一の付勢部材及び第二の付勢部材と係合して、第一の付勢部材及び第二の付勢部材との径方向に対する位置ずれを規制する第一の規制手段と、
前記遮蔽体と係合して、前記遮蔽体との面方向に対する位置ずれを規制する第二の規制手段と、を備える
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の連結具。 - 第一及び第二の面は、前記貫通孔における曲率の小さい側の孔及び前記遮蔽体に形成される孔よりも小さい外形を有する
ことを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の連結具。 - 振動を発生する振動体に装着され、前記振動体から発せられる所定の物理的エネルギーを遮る遮蔽体であって、
前記振動体と、当該遮蔽体との連結部分に設けられる連結具を備え、前記連結具が請求項1~3のいずれかに記載の連結具である
ことを特徴とする遮蔽体。
