Abstract
Description
(1)平均自由体積半径が0.32~0.50nmであるポリマーイオン透過膜。
(2)長手方向および幅方向の5%伸長時応力のいずれもが50~1,000MPaであり、長手方向および幅方向の破断点伸度のいずれもが5~200%である、上記(1)に記載のポリマーイオン透過膜。
(3)25℃における膜抵抗が3.0~100.0Ω・cm2である、上記(1)または(2)に記載のポリマーイオン透過膜。
(4)膜を構成するポリマー中に、フッ素基、ハロゲン化アルキル基、ニトロ基、シアノ基、シアネート基およびフルオレン基からなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1つの基を有する芳香族ポリアミド、芳香族ポリイミドまたは芳香族ポリアミドイミドを含む、上記(1)~(3)のいずれかに記載のポリマーイオン透過膜。
(5)膜を構成するポリマー中に、下記化学式(I)~(III)のいずれかの構造を有するポリマーを含む上記(1)~(4)のいずれかに記載のポリマーイオン透過膜。

(6)上記(1)~(5)のいずれかに記載のポリマーイオン透過膜を、空孔を有する基材上に形成してなる複合イオン透過膜。
(7)上記(1)~(5)のいずれかに記載のポリマーイオン透過膜、または上記(6)に記載の複合イオン透過膜を用いてなる電池用電解質膜。
(8)上記(1)~(5)のいずれかに記載のポリマーイオン透過膜を、電池用電極上に形成してなる電極複合体。

化学式(IV)~(VIII):
ここで、化学式(IV)~(VIII)の芳香環上の水素原子の一部が、さらにフッ素、臭素、塩素などのハロゲン基;ニトロ基;シアノ基;メチル、エチル、プロピルなどのアルキル基;メトキシ、エトキシ、プロポキシなどのアルコキシ基、カルボン酸基等の任意の基で置換されていてもよい。
実施例における物性の測定方法は次の方法に従って行った。
試料の厚み(μm;下記(3)により測定した値)と質量を測定し、試料の見かけの密度(嵩密度)d1を求めた。これと試料構成物の真比重d0より、下式を用いて空孔率(%)を算出した。
(2)平均自由体積半径
以下の条件で陽電子消滅寿命測定を実施した。
陽電子線源:22Naベースの陽電子ビーム
γ線検出器:BaF2製シンチレーターおよび光電子増倍管
装置定数:234~246ps、24.55ps/ch
ビーム強度:3keV
測定温度:23℃
測定雰囲気(減圧度):1×10-6~1×10-8Pa
総カウント数:約5,000,000カウント
試料サイズ、前処理:試料を15mm角のSiウェハに貼り付け、真空脱気
得られた陽電子消滅寿命曲線の第3成分について、非線形最小二乗プログラムPOSITRONFITにより解析を実施し、平均自由体積半径(nm)を算出した。
定圧厚み測定器FFA-1(尾崎製作所社製)を用いて試料の厚み(μm)を測定した。測定子径は5mm、測定荷重は1.25Nである。
B型ガーレデンソメーター(安田精機製作所社製)を使用し、JIS-P8117(1998)に規定された方法に従って、試料のガーレ透気度(秒/100ml)の測定を行った。試料を直径28.6mm、面積642mm2の円孔に締め付け、内筒により(内筒質量567g)、筒内の空気を試験円孔部から筒外へ通過させ、空気100mlが通過する時間を測定することでガーレ透気度とした。
測定用電極1として、厚み20μmのアルミシートを長辺50mm×短辺40mmに切り出した。このうち、短辺40mm×長辺の端10mmはタブを接続するためののりしろであり、有効測定面積は40mm×40mm(1,600mm2=16cm2)である。切り出したアルミシートののりしろ部の任意の位置に幅5mm、長さ30mm、厚み100μmのアルミ製タブを超音波溶接した後、溶接部を含むのりしろ部全体をカプトン(登録商標)テープで覆うことで絶縁処理を行った。
幅10mm、長さ150mm(測定方向)に切断した試料について、ロボットテンシロンAMF/RTA-100(オリエンテック社製)を用いて、チャック間距離50mm、引張速度300mm/分、温度23℃、相対湿度65%の条件下で引張試験を行い、5%伸張時応力(MPa)および破断点伸度(%)を求めた。フィルムの長手方向(MD)および幅方向(TD)にそれぞれ5回測定し、平均値を求めた。
圧縮試験機KES-G5(カトーテック社製)を用いて、針進入速度を2mm/秒とし、それ以外はJIS-Z1707(1997)に準じて23℃で測定した。試料が破膜したときの最大荷重を読み取り、試験前の試料の厚みで除した値を突刺強度(N/μm)とした。測定は各試料5回行い、平均値を求めた。
試料の多孔質膜を、幅5mm、長さ100mmの短冊状に切り取り、長辺を測定方向とした。長辺の両端から約5mmの部分に印をつけ、印の間隔をL1とした。印の外側の一端をクリップで挟み、熱風オーブン内で宙吊りとした状態で、測定温度(150℃または200℃)で10分間熱処理を行った。取り出した試料を25℃まで冷却後、印の間隔L2を計測し、下式で熱収縮率(%)を計算した。フィルムの長手方向(MD)および幅方向(TD)にそれぞれ5回測定し、それぞれ平均値を求めた。
(9)対数粘度 ηinh
臭化リチウム(LiBr)を2.5質量%添加したN-メチルピロリドン(NMP)に、ポリマーを0.5g/dlの濃度で溶解させ、ウベローデ粘度計を使用して、30℃にて流下時間を測定した。ポリマーを溶解させないブランクのLiBr2.5質量%/NMPの流下時間も同様に測定し、下式を用いて対数粘度ηinh(dl/g)を算出した。

(10)電池評価
(セル作製)
正極として、厚み40μm、充電容量4.00mAh/cm2、放電容量3.64mAh/cm2のコバルト酸リチウム(LiCoO2)を活物質として用いた正極シート(宝泉社製)を50mm×40mmに切り出した。このうち、短辺40mm×長辺の一部10mmはタブを接続するための未塗布部であって、活物質塗布部は40mm×40mmである。幅5mm、長さ30mm、厚み0.1mmのアルミ製正極タブを正極未塗布部に超音波溶接した。
0.2Cの電流値で4.2Vとなるまで定電流充電を行い、4.2Vの電圧で電流値が50μAになるまで定電圧充電を行った。続いて、0.2Cの電流値で2.7Vの電圧まで定電流放電を行った。充電及び放電が交互となるように、上記充電・放電を合計4回行った。充電時間が24時間を越えるセルはその時点で試験を終了し、電池評価不可とした。
0.5Cの電流値で4.2Vとなるまで定電流充電を行った。続いて、0.5Cの電流値で2.7Vの電圧まで定電流放電を行い、0.5Cにおける放電容量を得た。以降、充電はすべて0.5Cの定電流充電とし、1C、3C、5Cの定電流放電を行うことでそれぞれのCレートにおける放電容量を得た。
脱水したN-メチル-2-ピロリドン(NMP、三菱化学社製)に、ジアミンとして2,2’-ジトリフルオロメチル-4,4’-ジアミノビフェニル(東レ・ファインケミカル社製)を窒素気流下で溶解させ、30℃以下に冷却した。そこへ、系内を窒素気流下、30℃以下に保った状態で、ジアミン全量に対して99モル%に相当する2-クロロテレフタロイルクロライド(日本軽金属社製)を30分かけて添加し、全量添加後、約2時間の撹拌を行うことで、芳香族ポリアミド(A)を重合した。得られた重合溶液を、酸クロライド全量に対して97モル%の炭酸リチウム(本荘ケミカル社製)および6モル%のジエタノールアミン(東京化成社製)により中和することで芳香族ポリアミド(A)の溶液を得た。得られた芳香族ポリアミドの対数粘度ηinhは4.0dl/gであった。
芳香族ポリアミド(B)を得るためのジアミンを、ジアミン全量に対して70モル%に相当する2,2’-ジトリフルオロメチル-4,4’-ジアミノビフェニルと30モル%に相当する1,3-フェニレンジアミン(東京化成工業社製)とし、酸クロライドをジアミン全量に対して99モル%に相当するテレフタロイルクロライド(東京化成工業社製)とすること以外は実施例1と同様にしてポリマーイオン透過膜の試料を得た。得られた試料の評価結果を表1および表2に示す。
芳香族ポリアミド(C)を得るための酸クロライドを、ジアミン全量に対して99モル%に相当する2-フルオロテレフタロイルクロライド(イハラニッケイ化学工業社製)とすること以外は実施例1と同様にしてポリマーイオン透過膜の試料を得た。得られた試料の評価結果を表1および表2に示す。
芳香族ポリアミド(D)を得るためのジアミンを、2,2’-ジトリクロロメチル-4,4’-ジアミノビフェニル(東レ・ファインケミカル社製)とすること以外は実施例1と同様にしてポリマーイオン透過膜の試料を得た。得られた試料の評価結果を表1および表2に示す。
芳香族ポリアミド(E)を得るためのジアミンを、9,9’-ビス(3-メチル-4-アミノフェニル)フルオレン(和歌山精化工業社製)とし、酸クロライドをジアミン全量に対して100モル%に相当するイソフタロイルクロライド(東京化成工業社製)とすること以外は実施例1と同様にしてポリマーイオン透過膜の試料を得た。得られた試料の評価結果を表1および表2に示す。
芳香族ポリアミド(F)を得るためのジアミンを、メタフェニレンジアミン(東京化成工業社製)とし、酸クロライドをジアミン全量に対して100モル%に相当する2-フルオロテレフタロイルクロライドとすること以外は実施例1と同様にしてポリマーイオン透過膜の試料を得た。得られた試料の評価結果を表1および表2に示す。
脱水したN-メチル-2-ピロリドンに、ジアミンとして4,4’-ジアミノジフェニルエーテル(東京化成工業社製)を室温にて溶解させた。そこへ、ジアミン全量に対して100モル%に相当する4,4’-(ヘキサフルオロイソプロピリデン)ジフタル酸無水物(東京化成工業社製)を30分かけて添加し、全量添加後、約2時間の撹拌を行うことで、芳香族ポリアミド酸(A)を重合した。得られた芳香族ポリアミド酸の対数粘度ηinhは2.0dl/gであった。
実施例7と同様にして、芳香族ポリアミド酸(A)を含む製膜原液を製造した。
芳香族ポリアミドの対数粘度ηinhを6.0dl/gとすること以外は実施例1と同様にして、芳香族ポリアミド(A’)を含むポリマーイオン透過膜の試料を得た。得られた試料の評価結果を表1および表2に示す。
テンター室内での熱処理温度を180℃とすること以外は実施例1と同様にして、ポリマーイオン透過膜の試料を得た。得られた試料の評価結果を表1および表2に示す。
フィルムの製造工程において施す延伸倍率をMDに1.2倍、TDに1.4倍とすること以外は実施例1と同様にして、ポリマーイオン透過膜の試料を得た。得られた試料の評価結果を表1および表2に示す。
実施例1と同様にして、芳香族ポリアミド(A)を含む溶液を製造した。
実施例1と同様にして、芳香族ポリアミド(A)を含む溶液を製造した。

芳香族ポリアミド(G)を得るためのジアミンを、ジアミン全量に対して80モル%に相当する2-クロロ-1,4-フェニレンジアミン(日本化薬社製)と20モル%に相当する4,4’-ジアミノジフェニルエーテル(東京化成工業社製)とすること以外は実施例1と同様にして試料を得た。得られた試料の評価結果を表1および表2に示す。
芳香族ポリアミド(H)を得るためのジアミンを、1,3-フェニレンジアミンとし、酸クロライドをジアミン全量に対して100モル%に相当するイソフタロイルクロライドとすること以外は実施例1と同様にして試料を得た。得られた試料の評価結果を表1および表2に示す。
芳香族ポリアミド(I)を得るためのジアミンを、ジアミン全量に対して40モル%に相当する2,2’-ジトリフルオロメチル-4,4’-ジアミノビフェニルと60モル%に相当する1,3-フェニレンジアミンとし、酸クロライドをジアミン全量に対して99モル%に相当するテレフタロイルクロライドとすること以外は実施例1と同様にして試料を得た。得られた試料の評価結果を表1および表2に示す。
酸無水物をジアミン全量に対して99モル%に相当するピロメリット酸無水物とすること以外は実施例7と同様にして芳香族ポリアミド酸(B)からなる溶液を製造した。
Claims (8)
- 平均自由体積半径が0.32~0.50nmであるポリマーイオン透過膜。
- 長手方向および幅方向の5%伸長時応力のいずれもが50~1,000MPaであり、長手方向および幅方向の破断点伸度のいずれもが5~200%である、請求項1に記載のポリマーイオン透過膜。
- 25℃における膜抵抗が3.0~100.0Ω・cm2である、請求項1または2に記載のポリマーイオン透過膜。
- 膜を構成するポリマー中に、フッ素基、ハロゲン化アルキル基、ニトロ基、シアノ基、シアネート基およびフルオレン基からなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1つの基を有する芳香族ポリアミド、芳香族ポリイミドまたは芳香族ポリアミドイミドを含む、請求項1~3のいずれかに記載のポリマーイオン透過膜。
- 請求項1~5のいずれかに記載のポリマーイオン透過膜を、空孔を有する基材上に形成してなる複合イオン透過膜。
- 請求項1~5のいずれかに記載のポリマーイオン透過膜、または請求項6に記載の複合イオン透過膜を用いてなる電池用電解質膜。
- 請求項1~5のいずれかに記載のポリマーイオン透過膜を、電池用電極上に形成してなる電極複合体。
