Abstract
Description
加工例1では、工作機械100の各モジュールM1,M2,M3によって、例えば、図5Aに示すような所定の形状の製品Aをワークから製造する場合であり、この製品Aの製造を、例えば、図6Aに示すように、1回目の正面側(図5Aの右側)の加工(第1加工工程(1))と、背面側(図5Aの左側)の加工(第2加工工程(2))と、2回目の正面側の加工(第3加工工程(3))の3工程で行うものとする。なお、図6A~図6Dは、各製品を製造するための各加工工程と多系統又は単系統プログラムの両方を模式的に表現している。
加工例2では、工作機械100の各モジュールM1,M2,M3によって、例えば、図5A~図5Dに示すような各々異なる所定の形状の製品A、製品B、製品C、製品Dを所定のワークから製造する場合である。

Claims (2)
- ワークを保持するワーク保持手段と、前記ワーク保持手段に保持されたワークに対して所定の作業を行う作業手段を保持する作業手段保持部とが一体的に設けられたモジュールを複数備えた工作機械に設けられ、
前記工作機械の所定の駆動軸を制御する制御系統を複数備え、各制御系統にそれぞれ独立して対応する複数の加工プログラムから構成される多系統プログラムに基づいて前記ワークの加工を行うように前記工作機械の動作を制御する工作機械の制御装置であって、
各前記モジュールの駆動軸が、前記モジュール毎に各々別々の制御系統に割り当てられ、前記ワークを各々異なる形状に加工する各々異なる複数の多系統プログラムを格納する多系統プログラム格納部と、
前記各多系統プログラムを、各々各加工プログラムに分割する多系統プログラム分割部と、
分割された前記各加工プログラムを個別に格納する分割プログラム格納部と、
各制御系統各々に対応する加工プログラムを各系統毎に格納する系統別プログラム格納部と、
前記各モジュールで行う加工工程に応じて、前記分割プログラム格納部から所定の加工プログラムを選択し、所定の制御系統毎に前記系統別プログラム格納部に各々格納させる加工プログラム選択部とを備え、
前記系統別プログラム格納部に、各制御系統毎に必要な加工プログラムを前記分割プログラム格納部から選択して格納することによって、前記各モジュールで所定の加工工程を各別に行わせるように構成されたことを特徴とする工作機械の制御装置。 - 前記モジュールは、少なくとも並設された2つの固定モジュールと、前記固定モジュールの対向側に該固定モジュールの並び方向に移動可能で、かつ前記固定モジュールとの間でワークの受け渡しが可能な少なくとも1つの移動モジュールとを備えていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の工作機械の制御装置。
