Description
まず、図1及び図2は、投写型映像表示装置のそれぞれ異なる角度からの外観を示す斜視図である。これらの図において、当該投写型映像表示装置は、その本体1を、底面と周囲の4側面を一体に形成した、外形が略矩形状の下側ケース2と、その上面に配置されて固定される上側ケース3により構成している。

この使用形態では、上記の図1や図2に示したように、装置本体1を、例えば、テーブルTの表面に、その底面を下にして横置きに設置し、開閉式ミラーカバー31を開く。そして、図4にも示すように、当該開閉式ミラーカバー31の内側に取り付けられた反射ミラー32が、映像が投写されるスクリーンSや壁面に対向するように位置を調整する。なお、その際、上述した自由曲面レンズを含む投写レンズ系からなる光学系の採用により、スクリーンSまでの距離が小さくても(例えば、スクリーンSまでの距離d=0~数十cm)、即ち、スクリーンに隣接して配置されても、十分な大きさの投写映像が得られる。なお、スクリーンSまでの投射距離dの変化により所望のフォーカスが得られなくなる場合には、上述したフォーカス調整用のツマミ33を、適宜、回転することにより、再度、調整すればよい。
この使用形態では、上記図2の状態の装置本体1から、下側ケース2の一側面(上記開閉式ミラーカバー31が設けられた側とは反対側)に本体と一体に取り付けた一対のスタンド脚5、5を、それぞれ、所定の方向(図の矢印を参照)に回転することにより取り出し、図5のような状態とする。その後、図6に示すように、取り出した一対のスタンド脚5、5の面を、例えば、机の表面上に当接するように配置することにより、装置本体1を縦置きの形態とする。なお、この図6には、下側ケース2の側面に取り付けられた端子板65の一例が、詳細に示されている。即ち、ここでは、端子板65は、USB端子である「USB A」と「USB A」、コンピュータからの映像信号を入力するためのVGA端子「COMPUTER IN」、HMDI端子を備えている。

加えて、投写型映像表示装置の一部に形成された上記一対のスタンド脚5、5は、例えば、装置の重心位置を中心に均等(5:5)になるように設計することも考えられるが、本例では、上記図7にも示すように、取り出した際に装置の前後に延びる長さがそれぞれ異なるように設定されている。即ち、縦置きの使用形態をも含め、装置の映像投写表示性能を確保することを目的として、映像の被投写面に対して僅かな角度θだけ傾斜して配置することを可能とするため、一対のスタンド脚5、5の各々の厚み方向に傾斜角度(θ)を持たせると共に、本実施例では、装置配置時の安定性を確保するため、装置本体が傾く側とは反対側(図の左側)に延びるスタンド脚5の長さ(L1)に比較して、装置本体が傾く側に延びるスタンド脚5の長さ(L2)がより長くなるように設定されている(L1<L2)。また、特に、映像の被投写面側に延びるスタンド脚5の長さ(L2)は、映像の被投写面Sにまでは達しない範囲で、適宜、設定することが出来る(即ち、投写映像を乱すことなく優れた映像投写表示性能の確保することが出来る)。
当該投写型映像表示装置では、上述したスタンド脚等に加え、特に、USB端子、VGA端子、HMDI端子など、当該装置の外部(例えば、PC、又は、iPhoneやiPad mini等の携帯端末)からの映像信号を入力するための端子を備えた端子板65が、更には、電源ケーブルが差し込まれる電源インレット部6が、本体1を形成する下側ケース2の側面に取り付けられている。

前記スタンド脚は、取り出した状態で、当該装置の前記一側面を底面とした直立配置のための設置条件を満たす形態を備えていることを特徴とする映像投写表示装置。 - 請求項1に記載した投写型映像表示装置において、前記筺体の上側ケースの一部に開閉可能に取り付けられた前記拡大投写手段は、自由曲面形状の反射面を有する反射ミラーであることを特徴とする投写型映像表示装置。
- 請求項1又は2に記載した投写型映像表示装置において、前記スタンド脚は、予め設定された傾斜角を備えて形成された一対の面を有する外形矩形の板状部材によって形成され、前記下側ケースの前記一側面に、回動可能に取り付けられていることを特徴とする投写型映像表示装置。
- 請求項3に記載した投写型映像表示装置において、前記スタンド脚は、最大で、投写型映像表示装置の幅=Wに等しく、最小で、投写型映像表示装置の高さ=Hに等しい長さを有することを特徴とする投写型映像表示装置。
- 請求項3に記載した投写型映像表示装置において、前記スタンド脚は一対で設けられており、各スタンド脚は、最大で、投写型映像表示装置の幅の半分=W/2に等しく、最小で、投写型映像表示装置の高さ=Hに等しい長さを有することを特徴とする投写型映像表示装置。
- 請求項5に記載した投写型映像表示装置において、前記スタンド脚は、取り出した状態で、前記装置の前記一側面から前記被表示面に向かって延びる部分と、その反対側に向かって延びる部分とがその長さ(L1、L2)において異なっていることを特徴とする投写型映像表示装置。
- 請求項6に記載した投写型映像表示装置において、前記スタンド脚の前記装置の前記一側面から前記被表示面に向かって延びる部分の長さ(L1)は、当該装置を縦置きした状態で、前記一側面から前記映像光が拡大投写される前記被表示面が始まる部分に到るまでの距離よりも、短く設定されていることを特徴とする投写型映像表示装置。
- 請求項5に記載した投写型映像表示装置において、前記スタンド脚は、ラチェット機構を介して前記装置の前記一側面に取り付けられていることを特徴とする投写型映像表示装置。
- 請求項5に記載した投写型映像表示装置において、前記スタンド脚は、緩み止め機構を介して前記装置の前記一側面に取り付けられていることを特徴とする投写型映像表示装置。
- 請求項1に記載した投写型映像表示装置であって、更に、外部からのケーブルが接続される端子接続部を備えており、当該端子接続部は、前記スタンド脚が取り付けられた前記下側ケースの前記一側面に隣接する側面であって、当該装置を縦置きした状態における下部に近い部分に設けられていることを特徴とする投写型映像表示装置。
