この駆動システムでは、磁極位置センサ2により検出した同期電動機1の回転子(永久磁石)の磁極位置θをインバータ制御装置3へフィードバックし、インバータ4の半導体スイッチング素子に対する駆動信号を生成して同期電動機1による速度制御や位置制御を行っている。
図2において、減算器30は速度指令値n*と速度検出値nとの偏差を求め、速度調節器31は、この偏差がゼロになるようにトルク指令値Trq*を演算する。電流指令演算器32は、トルク指令値Trq*に基づいて、d-q回転座標上の互いに直交する成分であるd軸電流指令値Id *、q軸電流指令値Iq *を演算する。周知のように、d軸は同期電動機1の回転子を構成する永久磁石の磁束軸に沿った制御上の仮想軸であり、q軸はd軸に直交する軸である。

電流調節器35は、減算器33により求めたd軸電流指令値Id *とd軸電流検出値Idとの偏差がゼロになるように動作してd軸電圧指令値Vd *を生成する。また、電流調節器36は、減算器34により求めたq軸電流指令値Iq *とq軸電流検出値Iqとの偏差がゼロになるように動作してq軸電圧指令値Vq *を生成する。
このため、一般的には、同期電動機1を初めて運転する前に、磁極位置の原点と磁極位置センサ2の出力信号の原点との間のずれ量、つまり磁極位置センサ2の出力側から見た磁極位置のずれ量を手動または自動的に検出してメモリに保存しておき、このずれ量を制御演算のアルゴリズムによって補正することが行われている。
この位相差θdifをメモリに記憶させておき、永久磁石型同期電動機の通常運転時には、エンコーダの原点パルスを検出する都度、検出された磁極位置θ0に位相差θdifを加算して磁極位置合わせを行ない、ずれ量を補正した真の磁極位置θを求めてベクトル制御に用いるものである(ステップS9)。

このような場合、例えば図4に示すように、回転子の磁極は最終的に電流位相角が-90[deg]となる点P0に引き込まれず、その前後で出力トルクTがゼロとなる点P1または点P2に引き込まれてしまう。これらの点P1,P2では、回転子の磁極位置の原点がd軸方向と一致していないため、このときの磁極位置センサのカウンタ値を基準として求めたずれ量を用いて磁極位置合わせを行うと、真の磁極位置との間に大きな誤差を生じることになる。
そして、d軸電流を電機子巻線に通流して回転子を磁束軸方向に引き込むことにより、電流引き込み動作を行うものである。
請求項3に係る発明は、前記実効値Ψaとd軸インダクタンスLdとq軸インダクタンスLqとを用いて、Ia=Ψa/2(Lq-Ld)となる相電流Iaを演算する引き込み電流演算部と、電動機の電機子が許容する最大電流と、電動機の電機子巻線に電流を流すためのインバータが許容する最大電流と、相電流Iaの何れか小さい電流値から磁束軸方向のd軸電流を演算するId演算部と、を備え、d軸電流を電機子巻線に通流して回転子を磁束軸方向に引き込むことにより、電流引き込み動作を行うものである。
そして、d軸電流を電機子巻線に通流して相電流Iaの位相角に対する回転子のトルクの傾きが最大になる位置に回転子を引き込むことにより、電流引き込み動作を行うものである。
請求項5に係る発明は、Ψa/(Lq-Ld)を最大電流値とし、この最大電流値から所定の最小電流値に至る範囲で変化する相電流Iaを演算する引き込み電流演算部と、電動機の電機子が許容する最大電流と、電動機の電機子巻線に電流を流すためのインバータが許容する最大電流と、相電流Iaの何れか小さい電流値から磁束軸方向のd軸電流を演算するId演算部と、を備え、d軸電流を電機子巻線に通流して相電流Iaの位相角に対する回転子のトルクの傾きが最大になる位置に回転子を引き込むことにより、電流引き込み動作を行うものである。
前述したように、永久磁石型同期電動機の回転子の磁極は、図4において電流位相角βが-90[deg]となる点P0に引き込まれるため、このβ=-90[deg]近辺において、出力トルクTが電流位相角βの単調増加関数であることが必要である。
まず、数式3の出力トルクTの計算式を、β=-90[deg]において電流位相角βにより偏微分すると、数式6を得る。
このため、例えば従来技術と同様の方法によって実際の磁極位置のずれ量を検出することができ、同期電動機の通常の運転時には、磁極位置センサ2により検出した磁極位置を前記ずれ量により補正して磁極位置合わせを行うことにより、真の磁極位置θを検出することが可能になる。
なお、電動機によってはLq-Ldが小さくなり、数式8を満たすIaが電動機の最大許容電流、またはインバータの最大出力電流を超えることも考えられるが、その際はIaを電動機の最大許容電流及びインバータ最大出力電流に制限すればよい。
回転子の磁極位置を電流位相角βが-90[deg]の位置に引き込むためには、トルクが発生する必要がある。しかし、-90[deg]の位置では、引き込むトルクがゼロになるため、厳密に言えば、回転子の磁極位置は電流位相角βが-90[deg]の近くに停止してしまい、磁極位置合わせの誤差となる。この誤差の大きさは、外部の摩擦トルクやコギングトルク、及び、引き込み電流の大きさによって異なるものである。
しかしながら、引き込み電流の大きさを最適化すれば、上記の誤差を小さくすることが可能である。
図5から明らかなように、数式10により計算した最適電流値では、電流位相角βが-90[deg]の位置において出力トルク曲線の傾きが最も大きい。つまり、β=-90[deg]付近における電流位相角の変化分に対する出力トルクの変化分が大きいため、磁極位置合わせの誤差が最小になる。よって、数式10の最適電流値Iaを用いて回転子を引き込むことが望ましい。
なお、電動機によってはLq-Ldが小さくなり、数式10を満たすIaが電動機の最大許容電流、またはインバータ最大出力電流を超えることも考えられるが、その際はIaを電動機の最大許容電流及びインバータ最大出力電流に制限すればよい。
前述した第2実施形態によれば、磁極位置合わせの誤差を少なくする最適電流値を算出することが可能である。しかし、一般的に、対象とする永久磁石型同期電動機の各種パラメータであるΨa,Ld,Lqを正確に測定することは難しいと共に、電機子巻線に引き込み電流を通流するときに、同期電動機の内部に磁気飽和が発生して上記の各種パラメータが変化するおそれもある。このため、数式10の演算により最適電流値を正確に算出することは困難である。
図6において、引き込み電流演算部101は、Ψa,Ld,Lqを用いて、第1実施形態における数式8により、Ψa/(Lq-Ld)より小さい引き込み電流Ia1を求める。また、引き込み電流演算部102は、Ψa,Ld,Lqを用いて、第2実施形態における数式10により、最適電流値としての引き込み電流Ia2(=Ψa/2(Lq-Ld))を求める。更に、引き込み電流演算部103は、第3実施形態にて説明したように、Ψa/(Lq-Ld)を最大値とし、Iaminを最小電流値とする範囲内で引き込み電流の大きさを変化させ、電流位相角βに対する出力トルクTの傾きが最も大きくなる電流値を引き込み電流Ia3として決定する。
図6に示した構成により、所望の実施形態に応じたd軸電流を電機子巻線に通流させ、電流引き込み動作を行わせることができる。

Claims (5)
- 電流引き込み動作により、永久磁石型同期電動機の回転子を構成する永久磁石の磁極位置の原点と磁極位置センサの出力信号の原点との間のずれ量を検出し、このずれ量により前記磁極位置センサの出力信号を補正して真の磁極位置を検出する永久磁石型同期電動機の磁極位置検出装置において、
前記電動機の一相当たりの前記永久磁石による電機子鎖交磁束の実効値Ψaと、前記電動機のインダクタンスの構成成分であって、仮想の磁束軸方向のd軸インダクタンスLdと、前記磁束軸方向に直交する方向のq軸インダクタンスLqと、を用いて、Ia<Ψa/(Lq-Ld)となる相電流Iaを演算する引き込み電流演算部と、
前記相電流Iaから前記磁束軸方向のd軸電流を演算するId演算部と、
を備え、
前記Id演算部により演算した前記d軸電流を前記電動機の電機子巻線に通流して前記回転子を前記磁束軸方向に引き込むことにより、前記電流引き込み動作を行うことを特徴とする永久磁石型同期電動機の磁極位置検出装置。 - 電流引き込み動作により、永久磁石型同期電動機の回転子を構成する永久磁石の磁極位置の原点と磁極位置センサの出力信号の原点との間のずれ量を検出し、このずれ量により前記磁極位置センサの出力信号を補正して真の磁極位置を検出する永久磁石型同期電動機の磁極位置検出装置において、
前記電動機の一相当たりの前記永久磁石による電機子鎖交磁束の実効値Ψaと、前記電動機のインダクタンスの構成成分であって、仮想の磁束軸方向のd軸インダクタンスLdと、前記磁束軸方向に直交する方向のq軸インダクタンスLqと、を用いて、Ia=Ψa/2(Lq-Ld)となる相電流Iaを演算する引き込み電流演算部と、
前記相電流Iaから前記磁束軸方向のd軸電流を演算するId演算部と、
を備え、
前記Id演算部により演算した前記d軸電流を前記電動機の電機子巻線に通流して前記回転子を前記磁束軸方向に引き込むことにより、前記電流引き込み動作を行うことを特徴とする永久磁石型同期電動機の磁極位置検出装置。 - 電流引き込み動作により、永久磁石型同期電動機の回転子を構成する永久磁石の磁極位置の原点と磁極位置センサの出力信号の原点との間のずれ量を検出し、このずれ量により前記磁極位置センサの出力信号を補正して真の磁極位置を検出する永久磁石型同期電動機の磁極位置検出装置において、
前記電動機の一相当たりの前記永久磁石による電機子鎖交磁束の実効値Ψaと、前記電動機のインダクタンスの構成成分であって、仮想の磁束軸方向のd軸インダクタンスLdと、前記磁束軸方向に直交する方向のq軸インダクタンスLqと、を用いて、Ia=Ψa/2(Lq-Ld)となる相電流Iaを演算する引き込み電流演算部と、
前記電動機の電機子が許容する最大電流と、前記電動機の電機子巻線に電流を流すためのインバータが許容する最大電流と、前記相電流Iaの何れか小さい電流値から前記磁束軸方向のd軸電流を演算するId演算部と、
を備え、
前記Id演算部により演算した前記d軸電流を前記電動機の電機子巻線に通流して前記回転子を前記磁束軸方向に引き込むことにより、前記電流引き込み動作を行うことを特徴とする永久磁石型同期電動機の磁極位置検出装置。 - 電流引き込み動作により、永久磁石型同期電動機の回転子を構成する永久磁石の磁極位置の原点と磁極位置センサの出力信号の原点との間のずれ量を検出し、このずれ量により前記磁極位置センサの出力信号を補正して真の磁極位置を検出する永久磁石型同期電動機の磁極位置検出装置において、
前記電動機の一相当たりの前記永久磁石による電機子鎖交磁束の実効値Ψaと、前記電動機のインダクタンスの構成成分であって、仮想の磁束軸方向のd軸インダクタンスLdと、前記磁束軸方向に直交する方向のq軸インダクタンスLqと、を用いて演算したΨa/(Lq-Ld)を最大電流値とし、この最大電流値から所定の最小電流値に至る範囲で変化する相電流Iaを演算する引き込み電流演算部と、
前記相電流Iaから前記磁束軸方向のd軸電流を演算するId演算部と、
を備え、
前記d軸電流を前記電機子巻線に通流して前記相電流Iaの位相角に対する前記回転子のトルクの傾きが最大になる位置に前記回転子を引き込むことにより、前記電流引き込み動作を行うことを特徴とする永久磁石型同期電動機の磁極位置検出装置。 - 電流引き込み動作により、永久磁石型同期電動機の回転子を構成する永久磁石の磁極位置の原点と磁極位置センサの出力信号の原点との間のずれ量を検出し、このずれ量により前記磁極位置センサの出力信号を補正して真の磁極位置を検出する永久磁石型同期電動機の磁極位置検出装置において、
前記電動機の一相当たりの前記永久磁石による電機子鎖交磁束の実効値Ψaと、前記電動機のインダクタンスの構成成分であって、仮想の磁束軸方向のd軸インダクタンスLdと、前記磁束軸方向に直交する方向のq軸インダクタンスLqと、を用いて演算したΨa/(Lq-Ld)を最大電流値とし、この最大電流値から所定の最小電流値に至る範囲で変化する相電流Iaを演算する引き込み電流演算部と、
前記電動機の電機子が許容する最大電流と、前記電動機の電機子巻線に電流を流すためのインバータが許容する最大電流と、前記相電流Iaの何れか小さい電流値から前記磁束軸方向のd軸電流を演算するId演算部と、
を備え、
前記d軸電流を前記電機子巻線に通流して前記相電流Iaの位相角に対する前記回転子のトルクの傾きが最大になる位置に前記回転子を引き込むことにより、前記電流引き込み動作を行うことを特徴とする永久磁石型同期電動機の磁極位置検出装置。
