- カバーテープをビードコアの表面に供給するためのカバーテープ供給装置において、
前進位置および後退位置の間において往復動可能な搬送部材であって、前記カバーテープを支持した状態で前記後退位置から前記前進位置へ移動されて、前記カバーテープを前記ビードコアの表面上に搬送する前記搬送部材と、
前記ビードコアに対して前記搬送部材よりも離間した位置において回転可能に配置され、前記カバーテープの供給を案内するための案内ローラと、
前記搬送部材の前記後退位置から前記前進位置への移動を、前記案内ローラのテープ供給方向への回転に変換する伝達機構とを備えることを特徴とするカバーテープ供給装置。 - 前記搬送部材を移動させるための駆動部材を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカバーテープ供給装置。
- 前記伝達機構は前記駆動部材と前記案内ローラとの間に配置されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のカバーテープ供給装置。
- 前記伝達機構は、
前記駆動部材によって前記搬送部材とともに移動されるラックと、
前記案内ローラに連結され、かつ前記ラックと噛み合って、前記搬送部材の移動に伴い回転するピニオンとを備えることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のカバーテープ供給装置。 - 前記ピニオンと前記案内ローラとの間に配置され、かつ前記搬送部材の前記後退位置から前記前進位置への移動に伴う前記ピニオンの一方向の回転のみを前記案内ローラに伝達する一方向クラッチを備えることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のカバーテープ供給装置。
