図1乃至図3に示すように、シートベルト用リトラクタ1は、車両のウエビング3を巻き取るための装置であって、ハウジングユニット5と、巻取ドラムユニット6と、プリテンショナユニット7と、巻取バネユニット8と、ロックユニット9とから構成されている。
次に、ハウジングユニット5の概略構成について図2乃至図4に基づいて説明する。

前記係合爪部は、緊急時に該係合爪部が前記ロッキングギヤの外周部に形成されたロッキングギヤ歯に係合した後、該係合爪部が該ロッキングギヤ歯に押圧された場合には、該係合爪部は前記軸部側へ弾性変形可能とされると共に、該係合爪部と該ロッキングギヤ歯との係合が外れた場合には、該係合爪部の弾性変形が解消されることを特徴とするシートベルト用リトラクタ。 - 前記係合爪部は、前記ロッキングギヤ歯に係合した際に、前記パウルと前記ラチェットギヤの係合するタイミングに遅れが生じた場合には、該ロッキングギヤ歯に押圧されて前記軸部側へ大きく弾性変形して、係合したロッキングギヤ歯から外れることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシートベルト用リトラクタ。
- 前記係合爪部は、前記ロッキングギヤ側へ先端部が斜めに屈曲された回動軸方向視略L字形に形成され、
該係合爪部が該ロッキングギヤ歯に押圧された場合には、該係合爪部の先端部が斜めに屈曲された部分において前記軸部側へ弾性変形されることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載のシートベルト用リトラクタ。 - 前記係合爪部は、前記ロッキングギヤに対向する端面部が、前記軸部側基端部と先端部との両端部から略中央部に向かって、回動軸方向全幅に渡って徐々に低くなるように形成され、
該係合爪部が該ロッキングギヤ歯に押圧された場合には、該係合爪部の前記略中央部において前記軸部側へ弾性変形されることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載のシートベルト用リトラクタ。 - 前記クラッチは、前記センサレバーに押圧されて回動された前記パイロットレバーが進入して前記ロッキングギヤ歯に係合可能に設けられた開口部を有し、
前記係合爪部が該ロッキングギヤ歯に押圧されて前記軸部側へ弾性変形した際に、前記開口部の前記軸部側端縁部と該係合爪部との間に所定隙間が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれかに記載のシートベルト用リトラクタ。 - 前記パイロットレバーは、
前記係合爪部に対して略平行に設けられて、揺動した前記センサレバーが当接して押圧される薄板状の当接部と、
前記当接部と前記係合爪部との両先端側を連結する薄板状の連結板部と、
を有し、
前記当接部は、前記係合爪部と共に前記軸部側へ弾性変形可能に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれかに記載のシートベルト用リトラクタ。 - 前記クラッチは、前記取付ボスに嵌挿された前記軸部の前記係合爪部に対して径方向反対側の外周面と所定隙間を形成して対向するように突設されたパイロットレバー支持部を有し、
前記パイロットレバーは、前記軸部の外周面から前記パイロットレバー支持部に対して回動方向に所定隙間を形成して対向するように半径方向外側へ立設された上方向回り止め部を有し、
緊急時に前記係合爪部が前記ロッキングギヤの外周部に形成されたロッキングギヤ歯に係合した場合には、該パイロットレバーは、前記上方向回り止め部が、前記パイロットレバー支持部の周方向一方の端面に当接して鉛直方向上方への回転規制がされた状態で、該ロッキングギヤの回動に従って前記クラッチを回動させることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項6のいずれかに記載のシートベルト用リトラクタ。 - 前記パイロットレバーは、前記上方向回り止め部と共に前記パイロットレバー支持部を回動方向に所定隙間を形成して挟むように前記軸部の外周面から半径方向外側へ立設された下方向回り止め部を有し、
該パイロットレバーは、前記係合爪部が自重により回動した場合には、前記下方向回り止め部が前記パイロットレバー支持部の周方向他方の端面に当接して鉛直方向下方への回転規制がされることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のシートベルト用リトラクタ。 - 緊急時に前記係合爪部が前記ロッキングギヤの外周部に形成されたロッキングギヤ歯に係合して前記取付ボスが撓んだ場合には、前記軸部の外周面が前記パイロットレバー支持部に当接された状態で、前記クラッチは前記ロッキングギヤの回動に従って回動されることを特徴とする請求項7又は請求項8に記載のシートベルト用リトラクタ。
- 前記クラッチは、前記取付ボスに嵌挿された前記軸部との間に所定隙間を形成して該軸部に対して半径方向外側へ弾性変形可能に立設されると共に、先端部に該軸部側に突出した係止突起が形成された弾性係止片を有し、
前記パイロットレバーは、前記取付ボスに嵌挿された前記軸部の前記弾性係止片に対向する外周面から半径方向外側へ突出した凸部を有し、
該パイロットレバーは、前記軸部を前記取付ボスに嵌挿することによって、前記凸部が前記係止突起に前記弾性係止片の基端側から当接可能に設けられると共に、該取付ボスに回動可能に取り付けられることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項9のいずれかに記載のシートベルト用リトラクタ。
