Definitions
- the present invention relates to an element punching apparatus and method for punching a CVT belt element from a flat plate material.
- a CVT belt (belt used for a continuously variable transmission) is formed by arranging a number of metal elements aligned with each other on the entire circumference of a hoop that is a metal strip wound in a ring shape. . Since the CVT belt is stretched over the pulley and rotated, the rotation radius formed by arranging a large number of elements is the rotation radius by the inner peripheral side portion of the body portion positioned on the inner peripheral side of the hoop, and the outer peripheral side than that. It is necessary to make it smaller than the radius of rotation of the portion located at. Therefore, the element is formed by reducing the thickness of the inner peripheral side portion of the body portion as compared with other portions.
- a long strip-like material used for punching an element has a thickness in a width direction position that forms an inner peripheral side portion of a body part smaller than a thickness of other general parts in advance (for example, (See Patent Documents 1 and 2).
- the cross-sectional shape of the material of the V block press (element) has a substantially uniform width at the outer peripheral portion, and gradually moves from a position away from the locking edge to the inner peripheral side by a predetermined distance toward the inner peripheral end. It is disclosed that the taper is formed to be inclined.

Description
CVTベルト8は、一対のプーリ間に掛け渡して、無段変速機(ベルト式CVT(Continuously Variable Transmission))に用いられる。
