Definitions
- the present invention relates to an operation handle having a grip portion which is disposed on the outside of an outer panel constituting a part of a door whose one end portion is rotatably supported on a vehicle body and is formed in a long shape, and the operation handle A support member attached to the door so as to pivotally support one end portion, a base member made of synthetic resin attached to the door corresponding to the other end portion of the operation handle, and an electrical component are housed,
- the present invention relates to an out-handle apparatus for a vehicle door comprising a holder that is held and attached to the base member.
- Patent Document 1 discloses a structure in which a switch that is turned on and off by operating a vehicle user to lock a door is fastened and fixed to a base member attached to the door panel with two mounting screws. ing.
- Patent Document 1 has a problem that the number of parts and the number of assembling steps for fixing the switch to the base member increase, resulting in an increase in cost.
- an engagement hole is formed in the base member, the holder is engaged with the engagement hole, temporarily positioned, and the holder is fastened and fixed to the base member with one screw member.
- the mold structure for forming the engagement hole in the base member to be molded becomes complicated, the cost increases.
- the present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and provides an out-handle apparatus for a vehicle door that reduces the number of parts and the number of assembling steps when fixing an electrical component to a base member, and reduces costs.
- the purpose is to do.
- the present invention has a grip portion that is formed on a long side and is disposed on the outside of an outer panel that constitutes a part of a door whose one end portion is rotatably supported on a vehicle body.
- An out-handle apparatus for a vehicle door comprising a member and a holder that stores and holds an electrical component and is attached to the base member, and is attached to an attached portion integrally provided with the base member on the other end side of the door.
- a bottomed mounting hole for mounting the mounting portion on the end wall is provided so as to open to the end wall side, and one end is opened at the inner end closing portion of the mounting hole along the axis of the mounting hole.
- An engagement hole extending to the attachment portion is provided in the attachment portion so that the other end is opened to the outer periphery of the attachment portion, and an engagement protrusion engaging with the other end portion of the engagement hole is provided on the holder. It is a first feature that it is provided.
- the electrical component is a switch that is turned on / off by an operation of a vehicle user for indicating at least one of locking and unlocking intention of the door.
- the third feature of the present invention is that the electrical component is a camera that images the outside of the vehicle or a proximity sensor that detects the proximity of a person.
- the holder in a state where the engagement protrusion is engaged with the engagement hole is fastened to the base member with one fastening member. This is a fourth feature.
- the present invention provides a mounting surface formed on the base member and facing the outer panel so that the outer member is attached to the door while the base member is attached to the door.
- a sealing member sandwiched between a panel and the mounting surface is mounted, and an engagement ear portion that is flush with the mounting surface so as to contact and engage the sealing member from the side opposite to the outer panel,
- a fifth feature is that the holder is provided so as to protrude laterally from the holder.
- the present invention provides a holder receiver that contacts the holder from the side opposite to the direction in which the outer panel abuts the engagement lug via the seal member on the base member.
- a sixth feature is that a surface and a positioning projection protruding from the holder receiving surface are provided, and a fitting hole for fitting the positioning projection is provided in the holder.

Moreover, even if a force is applied to the holder from the outside of the door, the load applied to the attachment portion of the holder to the base member can be reduced by receiving a part of the force with the door panel. Occurrence of abnormal noise can be prevented by sandwiching the seal member between the base members. When the base member is made of metal, the base member does not directly contact the outer panel to prevent metal touch. it can.
- the holder receiving surface provided on the base member abuts on the holder from the side opposite to the direction in which the outer panel abuts on the engagement ear portion via the seal member. Since the positioning protrusions protruding from the surface are fitted into the fitting holes provided in the holder, the engaging ears of the holder are brought into contact with the seal member mounted on the mounting surface of the base member from the side opposite to the outer panel,
- the holder can be temporarily assembled to the base member more securely, and the holder is sandwiched between the seal member and the holder receiving surface.
- the holder can be fixed to the base member and the door when the member is attached to the door, and no fastening member is required to fix the holder to the base member, further reducing the number of parts. Door can be.
- the peripheral wall portion of the holder surrounding the electrical component is provided with a slit through which a harness having one end connected to the electrical component can be inserted. Even if the harness is covered with the cover at the protruding portion from the holder, it is easy to assemble the electrical component with the harness connected to the holder.
- the pair of engaging protrusions are provided on the peripheral wall portion so as to sandwich the slit therebetween, so that the peripheral wall portion can be bent so that the both engaging protrusions approach and separate from each other. This makes it easy to engage the engaging protrusion with the engaging hole.
