  • Each of the lower chuck and the upper chuck has a rotating member.
  • air is supplied to the internal space of the tire with the lower chuck and the upper chuck sandwiching the tire.
  • Various performance tests are performed in a state where each rotating member rotates the tire.
  • separating force In a state where air is supplied to the internal space of the tire, the air pressure in the internal space causes the upper chuck to exert a force in a direction separating from the lower chuck (hereinafter referred to as a separating force). This separating force is transmitted from the upper chuck to the vertical frame and then to the lower frame via the horizontal frame.
  • the upper chuck is attached not to the longitudinal center of the horizontal frame but to a portion of the horizontal frame close to one vertical frame provided with the probe. It has been. Therefore, the horizontal frame is deformed by the separation force acting on the upper chuck. In the deformation, the upper chuck is inclined with respect to the vertical line, and the rotation axis of the upper chuck is inclined with respect to the rotation axis of the lower chuck extending in the vertical direction. The deviation between the rotation axis of the upper chuck and the rotation axis of the lower chuck adversely affects the test accuracy.
