Definitions
- the present invention relates to a fastener stringer in which a continuous fastener element is sewn along a tape side edge of a fastener tape with a sewing thread, and a slide fastener having a pair of the same fastener stringer on the left and right.
- Fastener stringers for slide fasteners have a configuration in which an element row is formed by attaching fastener elements to a woven or knitted narrow fastener tape.
- a continuous fastener element in which a monofilament is formed in a coil shape or a zigzag shape is known as one of the fastener elements forming the element row.
- a fastener element formed in a coil shape is generally composed of a meshing head, a pair of upper and lower legs extending from the meshing head in the tape width direction, and an upper leg between adjacent fastener elements in the tape length direction.
- a connecting portion (sometimes referred to as a reversing portion) that connects the portion and the lower leg portion. In this way, a continuous fastener element is configured.
- Such a coil-shaped fastener element is sewn along the tape side edge portion of the fastener tape by double ring stitching of the sewing thread with the core string inserted between the upper and lower leg portions.
- the sewing thread for sewing the upper and lower legs to the fastener tape is arranged on the looper thread that holds the upper and lower legs of each fastener element from the front surface side (upper surface side of the upper leg portion) and the back surface side of the fastener tape.
- Each pitch has a needle thread that pierces the fastener tape and interlaces with the looper thread. Then, when the fastener element is sewn to the fastener tape by the sewing thread, a row of sewing lines composed of the sewing thread is formed along the tape length direction on the surface side of the fastener element.
- Patent Document 1 discloses a fastener stringer 60 as shown in FIG.
- the coil-shaped fastener element 61 is stably sewn to the fastener tape 63 by the sewing thread 62. Therefore, the fastener element 61 is attached to the fastener tape 63 by the two rows of sewing lines 64. It is sewn.
- a slide fastener is configured using the pair of fastener stringers 60 thus configured.
- the sewing lines 64 constituting each row are constituted by double ring stitches of sewing threads 62, respectively.
- the needle thread of the sewing thread 62 is used as a looper for the sewing thread 62 while the fastener tape 63 is pierced at every pitch of the fastener element 61 to form the piercing portion 65 so that the fastener element 61 is firmly sewn. It is entangled in the thread.
- the coil-shaped fastener element 61 is sewn to the fastener tape 63 by the two rows of sewing lines 64, so that the position of the fastener element 61 is difficult to shift in the tape length direction. Accuracy can be increased.
- the fastener stringer 60 since two rows of sewing lines 64 are formed on the surface side of the fastener element 61, when a slide fastener is configured using the fastener stringer 60, the slider is repeatedly slid. However, the sewing thread 62 in sliding contact with the slider is difficult to cut, and the wear resistance of the sewing wire 64 can be improved.
- Coiled fastener elements are often used preferably for slide fasteners that require flexibility.
- the piercing portions 65 respectively formed in the two rows of the sewing lines 64 have one pitch of the fastener element 61 in the tape length direction of the fastener tape 63. Each is formed.
- two rows of sewing lines 64 are used to sew the fastener element 61 to the fastener tape 63, and the piercing portions 65 formed in each row have one pitch over the tape length direction.
- the sewing thread 62 is pierced through the fastener tape 63 every time. Therefore, the density of the sewing thread 62 with respect to the fastener element 61 is inevitably increased, and the flexibility of the fastener stringer 60 may be reduced.
- the fastener stringer 60 of Patent Document 1 two rows of sewing lines 64 are formed on the surface side of the fastener element 61, and the piercing portion 65 of each sewing line 64 is provided for each pitch of the fastener element 61. It is arranged. Therefore, depending on the thickness and material of the sewing thread 62, the two rows of sewing lines 64 may rise or appear to rise on the fastener element 61.
- the sewing line 64 does not swell on the fastener element 61, but when two rows of the sewing line 64 appear to swell on the fastener element 61, when the slide fastener having the fastener stringer 60 is attached to, for example, clothing or groceries.
- the fastener element 61 and the sewing line 64 may impair the design of clothing and potatoes.

Abstract
