Definitions
- the present invention relates to a vehicle and a vehicle communication device, and more particularly to a technology for performing communication using a power line as a communication path.
- Hybrid vehicles, electric vehicles, fuel cell vehicles, etc. that are equipped with an electric motor as a drive source are known. These vehicles are equipped with a battery for storing electric power supplied to the electric motor.
- the vehicle may be configured such that the battery can be charged with electric power supplied from a power source external to the vehicle.
- a vehicle capable of charging a battery with electric power supplied from a power source external to the vehicle is also referred to as a plug-in vehicle. Electric power is supplied to the battery mounted on the plug-in vehicle via a charging cable connected to the plug-in vehicle and a power line provided in the plug-in vehicle.
- a charging cable and a power line as a communication path by a well-known technology related to PLC (Power Line Communication).
- PLC Power Line Communication
- a PLC can transmit and receive data faster than wireless communication. Therefore, data used for, for example, a car navigation system of a plug-in vehicle can be quickly transmitted by a PLC using a charging cable and a power line instead of wireless communication using a mobile phone or the like.
- a filter function may be given to a communication device using the PLC.
- An object of the present invention is to secure a communication speed and reduce power loss due to a filter.
- the vehicle communicates with a device outside the vehicle by using a power storage device that is charged with power supplied from a power source outside the vehicle and a power line for supplying power from the power source to the power storage device as a communication path.
- the communication device includes a first signal line provided with a filter for removing noise from a signal transmitted using the power line, and a second signal line that bypasses the filter.
- the communication device communicates using a signal that has passed through the filter while the power storage device is being charged, and communicates using a signal that bypasses the filter while charging of the power storage device is stopped.
- Vehicle communication configured to charge the power storage device with power supplied from an external power source and to communicate with the external device by using a power line for supplying power from the power source to the power storage device as a communication path
- the apparatus includes a first signal line provided with a filter for removing noise from a signal transmitted using the power line, a second signal line that bypasses the filter, and a filter during charging of the power storage device.
- a communication control unit is provided for performing communication using the passed signal and performing communication using the signal bypassing the filter while charging of the power storage device is stopped.
- a filter for removing noise is provided on a signal line different from the power line. Thereby, generation
- a communication apparatus communicates using a power line as a communication path. Noise may be superimposed on the power line during charging of the power storage device. Therefore, the communication device communicates using a signal that has passed through the filter while the power storage device is being charged. Thereby, it is possible to realize communication using a signal from which noise is removed. On the other hand, there is little noise while charging of the power storage device is stopped. Therefore, the communication device communicates using a signal bypassing the filter while charging of the power storage device is stopped. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent a decrease in communication speed due to the filter while the charging of the power storage device is stopped. Therefore, the communication speed can be ensured and the loss due to the filter can be reduced.
- FIG. 1 is an overall configuration diagram of a charging system. It is a whole block diagram of the vehicle shown in FIG. It is a block diagram of the PLC processing apparatus shown in FIG. It is a flowchart which shows the process performed by the PLC processing apparatus shown in FIG.
- the power storage device mounted on vehicle 10 can be charged with a commercial power supply (for example, a system power supply).
- a commercial power supply for example, a system power supply
- charging of the vehicle 10 by a power source (for example, a system power source) outside the vehicle is also referred to as “external charging”.
- the vehicle 10 includes a charging port 110, a power line 120, a charger 130, a power output device 140, a PLC processing device 150, a wireless communication device 160, and a communication control device 170.
- the charging port 110 is configured to be able to connect the charging cable 30.
- the communication control apparatus 170 is notified to that effect.
- the communication control device 170 is notified that the charging cable 30 is connected to the charging port 110 using a connector signal CNCT transmitted when the charging cable 30 is connected to the charging port 110.
- the charger 130 is connected to the charging port 110 by a power line 120 for supplying power from an external power source of the vehicle 10 to the power storage device. Then, charger 130 converts electric power input from charging port 110 into a predetermined charging voltage, and outputs it to a power storage device included in power output device 140. Charger 130 also exchanges various predetermined data with communication control device 170 during external charging.
- the power output device 140 outputs the driving force for driving the vehicle 10.
- Power output device 140 includes a power storage device, and the power storage device is charged by charger 130 during external charging. Further, power output device 140 exchanges various predetermined data with communication control device 170 when the vehicle is running and when it is externally charged.
- the PLC processing device 150 is connected to the power line 120.
- the PLC processing device 150 can communicate with the PLC processing device 220 provided in the house 20 by using the power line 120, the charging port 110, and the charging cable 30 as communication paths during external charging.
- the PLC processing device 150 is configured by, for example, a modem, and receives and demodulates high frequency signal data transmitted from the PLC processing device 220 on the house 20 side from the power line 120 during external charging, or the PLC processing device 220 on the house 20 side. Data to be transmitted to the power line 120 and modulated.
- the frequency of AC power supplied from the system power supply to the vehicle 10 via the charging cable 30 is, for example, 50 Hz or 60 Hz in Japan, whereas the charging cable 30 and the power line 120 are used during PLC communication.
- the frequency of the high-frequency signal communicated is, for example, several MHz to several tens of MHz.
- the PLC processing device 150 will be described in more detail later.
- the wireless communication device 160 is configured to be able to communicate with a wireless communication device (base station) 230 deployed by, for example, a mobile phone company. Any wireless standard is used for wireless communication. In the present embodiment, the maximum communication speed by wireless communication device 160 is lower than the maximum communication speed by PLC processing device 150.
- the communication control device 170 controls communication by the wireless communication device 160 and communication by the PLC processing device 150. For example, when the charging cable 30 is connected to the charging port 110, the communication control device 170 controls the PLC processing device 150 to communicate. When the charging cable 30 is not connected to the charging port 110, the wireless communication device 160 is controlled to communicate.
- the communication control mode is not limited to these.
- the house 20 includes a power line 210 and a PLC processing device 220.
- the power line 210 is connected to the system power supply. Further, when the vehicle 10 is externally charged, the charging cable 30 is connected to the power outlet of the power line 210.

Description
たとえば、蓄電装置380の充電状態(「SOC(State Of Charge)」とも称される。)
