Abstract
Description
まず、本発明の実施形態に係る車両用グローブボックスの構造について、図1~図3を参照して説明する。図1は、本発明の実施形態に係る車両用グローブボックスがインストルメントパネルに取り付けられた状態を示す図である。図2は、図1の車両用グローブボックスを示す斜視図であり、第二のリッドを取り付けた状態を示す図である。図3は、図1の車両用グローブボックスを示す斜視図であり、第二のリッドを取り外した状態を示す図である。
図2に示すように、収納部10は、本体部11と、取付部12と、を備える。
第一のリッド20は、収納部10の本体部11に形成された第一の開口部11aを開閉可能な扉であり、取付部12の下端部に回動可能に軸支されている。図2に示すように、第一のリッド20は、扉本体21と、アーム22と、を備える。アーム22は、扉本体21の収納部10側となる面の右端部から円弧状に延設されており、フランジ部12aに形成された孔部12cに挿通されている。また、アーム22の先端部には、ダンパ本体31の上端部から延びる紐部材32が取り付けられている。
ダンパ部30は、第一のリッド20の急激な開動作を緩衝する部材である。図2に示すように、ダンパ部30は、ダンパ本体31と、紐部材32と、を備える。ダンパ本体31は、例えばエアダンパ等からなり、収納部10の前端部の右端部に取り付けられている。紐部材32は、ガイド部11dを通って、第一のリッド20のアーム22とダンパ本体31とを繋いでいる。
第二のリッド40は、収納部10の本体部11に形成された第二の開口部11bを開閉可能な扉であり、本体部11の第二の開口部11bの下端縁近傍に回動可能に軸支されている。図3に示すように、第二のリッド40は、扉本体41と、返し部42と、操作部43と、を備える。扉本体41は、第二の開口部11bに対応して折れ曲がった形状を呈している。返し部42は、収納部10に形成された孔部11cと係合する係合部の一例であり、扉本体41の下端部に形成されており、収納部10の孔部11cに挿入される。より詳細には、返し部42は、第二のリッド40を閉じた状態における前側、第二のリッド40を開けた状態における上側に突出した突起を備える。第二のリッド40を開けた状態において、かかる突起が、収納部10の本体部に形成された孔部11cの周縁部と係合する。操作部43は、扉本体41の上端部に形成されており、収納部10の第二の開口部11bの上端縁に係合される。
続いて、本発明の実施形態に係る車両用グローブボックス1の使用例について、図4及び図5を参照して説明する。図4は、第二のリッドが閉じられた状態を示す図であり、(a)は後から見た図、(b)は右から見た断面図である。図5は、第二のリッドが開けられた状態を示す図であり、(a)は後から見た図、(b)は右から見た断面図である。なお、図4及び図5において、第一のリッド20は開けられている。また、図4及び図5において、ガイド部11d及びダンパ部30は省略されている。
図4(a)に示すように、通常時には、第二のリッド40は閉じられている。すなわち、図4(b)に示すように、第二のリッド40の返し部42は、孔部11cに挿入されており、操作部43は、第二の開口部11bの上端縁に係合されている。かかる状態において、フィルタF及びエアバッグ装置ABは車両の乗員から見えず、車両の乗員は、車両用グローブボックス1内に物品を収納することができる。
図5(a)に示すように、フィルタFの交換時、又は、シリアルコードSCの読取時には、第二のリッド40は開けられる。すなわち、図5(b)に示すように、車両の乗員又は作業員は、第一のリッド20を開けた後、第二のリッド40の操作部43を弾性変形させて操作部43と第二の開口部11bの上端縁との係合を解除し、第二のリッド40を開ける。かかる状態において、フィルタF及びエアバッグ装置ABは、第一の開口部11a及び第二の開口部11bを介して車両の乗員から見えるようになり、車両の乗員又は作業員は、フィルタFを交換したり、読取装置Rを用いてシリアルコードSCを読み取ったりすることができる。
また、本発明の実施形態に係る車両用グローブボックス1は、フィルタFの交換作業又はシリアルコードSCの読取作業時には、車両の乗員又は作業員は、返し部42を軸として第二のリッド40を回動させることによって第二のリッド40を開けることができるとともに、フィルタFの交換作業又はシリアルコードSCの読取作業完了後には、車両の乗員又は作業員は、返し部42を軸として第二のリッド40を回動させることによって第二のリッド40を閉じることができるので、第二のリッド40の開閉動作が容易である。
また、本発明の実施形態に係る車両用グローブボックス1は、第二のリッド40の回動軸が当該第二のリッド40の下端部となるように構成されており、第二のリッド40を開けた状態において、当該第二のリッド40は、その返し部42が重力によって収納部10の本体部11に形成された孔部11cに係合し、その姿勢を維持するようになるので、フィルタFの交換作業又はシリアルコードSCの読取作業の邪魔にならない。
