温度を検出するための温度センサを有する測温部を長手方向の先端に備える内部中空のプローブと、
前記温度センサの近傍であって、前記プローブの中空内部に配置された一対の電極と、
前記電極を用いて検出される静電容量の変化に基づいて、前記測温部が使用者の被測定部位に適切に接触しているか否かを判定する判定部と、
を備えることを特徴とする。
一対の電極間の静電容量を計測する計測部を備え、
前記判定部が、前記計測部によって計測された静電容量の変化に基づいて、前記測温部が使用者の被測定部位に適切に接触しているか否かを判定するとよい。
前記判定部は、前記計測部によって計測された静電容量の変化を、使用者の身体と前記電極との間で形成される静電容量の変化とみなして、前記測温部が使用者の被測定部位に適切に接触しているか否かを判定するとよい。
まず、図1A、図1B、図1Cを参照して、以下で説明する本発明の各実施例に係る電子体温計の共通する基本構成について説明する。図1A、図1B、図1Cは、本発明の実施例に係る電子体温計全体の概略構成を示す図であって、図1Aは電子体温計の平面図であり、図1Bは図1AのAA断面図であり、図1Cは図1BのBB断面図である。なお、図1A、図1B、図1Cでは、以下の各実施例において説明する人体接触感知センサについては図示を省略している。
図2A~図6を参照して、本発明の実施例1aに係る電子体温計について説明する。図2A、図2Bは、本実施例に係る電子体温計の特徴部分を示す模式図であって、図2Aはプローブの一部を切り欠いて示した斜視図であり、図2Bはプローブ先端側の縦断面図である。図3は、横軸を時間(s)、縦軸を静電容量(pF)とし、測温部3aが被測定部位に適切に接触した場合の静電容量の変化の様子を示すグラフである。図4は、電子体温計の電気的構成を示す概略ブロック図である。図5A、図5Bは、人体の接触によって電極間の静電容量が変化する原理について説明する図であり、図5Aは人体が接触していない状態における電極間の電荷の様子、図5Bは人体が接触した状態における電極間の電荷の様子をそれぞれ示している。図6は、本実施例に係る電子体温計の体温測定のフローチャートである。
図2A、図2Bに示すように、本実施例に係る電子体温計1aは、プローブ3の中空内部のうち温度センサ6に近い先端側の領域に、一対の導体7a、7bが配置されている。ここで、図2A、図2Bでは、温度センサ6に接続されたリード線41や内部部品4の一部についての図示を省略している。
図4に示すように、電子体温計1aは、主として、温度センサ6と、人体接触感知センサ7と、電源部11と、LCD12と、ブザー13と、CPU(中央処理装置)14と、メモリ15と、CR発振回路16、17と、を備えている。
図6を参照して、本実施例に係る電子体温計1aにおける体温測定のフローについて説明する。なお、ここでは本実施例の電子体温計1aが予測式の場合を例にとって説明する。
本実施例によれば、導体が人体と直接接触する構成ではないので、導体を介して人体に直接電流が流れることがなく、人体に対する直接的な電気的影響を抑制することができる。また、導体がプローブ外部に露出していないので、静電気が体温計に印加されたときに樹脂製のプローブが保護となり、静電気によるCPU等の内部部品の破壊を防止することができる。
次に、図11A、図11Bを参照して、本発明の実施例2に係る電子体温計1bについて説明する。図11A、図11Bは、本実施例に係る電子体温計1bの特徴部分を示す模式図であって、図11Aはプローブの一部を切り欠いて示す斜視図であり、図11Bはプローブの縦断面図である。ここでは、上記実施例と異なる点についてのみ説明し、共通する部材や構成については同様の符号を付して説明を省略する。また、共通する部材や構成によって生じる作用や効果等についても同様である。
次に、図12A、図12Bを参照して、本発明の実施例3に係る電子体温計1cについて説明する。図12A、図12Bは、本実施例に係る電子体温計1cの特徴部分を示す模式図であって、図12Aはプローブの一部を切り欠いて示す斜視図であり、図12Bはプローブの縦断面図である。ここでは、上記実施例と異なる点についてのみ説明し、共通する部材や構成については同様の符号を付して説明を省略する。また、共通する部材や構成によって生じる作用や効果等についても同様である。
次に、図13~図16を参照して、本発明の実施例4に係る電子体温計について説明する。図13は、測温部3aが被測定部位に適切に接触したときの静電容量の時間変化と温度の時間変化の関係を示すグラフである。図14は、手や指でプローブ3を握ったときの静電容量の時間変化と温度の時間変化の関係を示すグラフである。図15は、測温部3aが被測定部位に適切に接触しなかったときの静電容量の時間変化と温度の時間変化の関係を示すグラフである。図16は、本実施例に係る電子体温計における体温測定のフローチャートである。
次に、図17A~図20Bを参照して、本発明の実施例5に係る電子体温計1dについて説明する。図17A、図17Bは、本実施例に係る電子体温計1dの特徴部分を示す模式図であって、図17Aはプローブの一部を切り欠いて示す斜視図であり、図17Bはプローブの縦断面図である。図18は、本発明の実施例5における人体接触感知の原理について説明する模式図である。図19は、本発明の実施例5に係る電子体温計の回路構成を説明する模式図である。図20A、図20Bは、導体の具体例を示す模式図であって、図20Aはプローブの一部を切り欠いて示した斜視図であり、図20Bはプローブ先端側の縦断面図である。ここでは、上記実施例と異なる点についてのみ説明し、共通する部材や構成については同様の符号を付して説明を省略する。また、共通する部材や構成によって生じる作用や効果等についても同様である。
Claims (10)
- 温度を検出するための温度センサを有する測温部を長手方向の先端に備える内部中空のプローブと、
前記温度センサの近傍であって、前記プローブの中空内部に配置された電極と、
前記電極を用いて検出される静電容量の変化に基づいて、前記測温部が使用者の被測定部位に適切に接触しているか否かを判定する判定部と、
を備えることを特徴とする電子体温計。 - 前記電極が一対で設けられるとともに、
一対の電極間の静電容量を計測する計測部を備え、
前記判定部が、前記計測部によって計測された静電容量の変化に基づいて、前記測温部が使用者の被測定部位に適切に接触しているか否かを判定することを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に記載の電子体温計。 - 前記一対の電極が、前記プローブの長手方向に互いに間隔を空けて並べられた一対の筒状の導体であることを特徴とする請求の範囲第2項に記載の電子体温計。
- 前記一対の電極が、前記プローブの長手方向にらせん状に延びる一対の導体であることを特徴とする請求の範囲第2項に記載の電子体温計。
- 前記一対の電極が、前記プローブの長手方向を軸中心として対称に配置された一対の半円筒形状の導体であることを特徴とする請求の範囲第2項に記載の電子体温計。
- 前記判定部が、使用者の身体と前記電極との間で形成される静電容量の変化に基づいて、前記測温部が使用者の被測定部位に適切に接触しているか否かを判定することを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に記載の電子体温計。
- 使用者の身体と前記電極との間で形成される静電容量と、電子体温計と大地との間で形成される静電容量と、使用者の身体と大地との間で形成される静電容量とを合成した静電容量を計測する計測部を備え、
前記判定部は、前記計測部によって計測された静電容量の変化を、使用者の身体と前記電極との間で形成される静電容量の変化とみなして、前記測温部が使用者の被測定部位に適切に接触しているか否かを判定することを特徴とする請求の範囲第6項に記載の電子体温計。 - 前記使用者の体温を予測する電子体温計であることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に記載の電子体温計。
- 前記測温部が使用者の被測定部位に適切に接触していないと前記判定部が判定した場合に使用者に報知する報知手段を備えることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に記載の電子体温計。
- 前記判定部は、前記静電容量の変化と前記温度センサによって検出された温度の変化とに基づいて、前記測温部が使用者の被測定部位に適切に接触しているか否かを判定することを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に記載の電子体温計。
