Abstract
Description
車載器は、路側無線装置と狭域無線通信を行い、当該路側無線装置を介してセンター装置から情報提供を受けることが可能となっている。すなわち、車両が路側無線装置の通信範囲内にある間のみ、車載器と路側無線装置との双方向通信が可能となり、この間にセンター装置から路側無線装置を介して車載器に情報が提供される。
上述した路車間通信システムでは、例えば、路上前方に停止車両等の障害物があることや前方に合流部があること等、走行を支援するための情報を車載器に提供することができるので、交通事故を未然に防止するのに非常に有効である。
有料道路における逆走防止策として、例えば、一方通行路であることを示す道路標識や路面表示により注意喚起がなされている。また、上述した路車間通信システムを利用して、運転者に逆走していることを警告する技術が提案されている(例えば、特許文献1)。
特許文献1に記載の路車間通信システムは、例えば、有料道路のインターチェンジにおいて路側無線装置から車載器に入口情報を送信し、この入口情報を受信した車載器で「有料道路に入ります。」、「逆走に注意してください。」等の音声を出力することで、逆走しないように事前に警告して注意喚起するものである。
そこで、流出ランプから誤進入したり、SA/PAの進入路を逆走したりする等、有料道路の本線を逆走する可能性が極めて高い車両に対してだけ逆走防止の警告を行うことができれば、順行する車両の運転者に不快感を与えることなく、有効に逆走を防止できる。
また、有料道路の本線を逆走する可能性が極めて高い車両があることを、本線を走行中の車両に通知できれば、予め追い越し車線に移動して走行するなどして対処できるので、逆走事故を回避できる可能性は高くなる。

100 路車間通信システム
図1は、本発明に係る路車間通信システムの設置状況の一例を示す概略図である。
ここで、一方通行路の異なる2地点において、車両が先に通過する地点を上流側、後に通過する地点を下流側とする。すなわち、有料道路の本線L1m,L2mにおいて、第3路側無線装置3は、流出ランプL1out、L2outへの分岐点より上流側となる。
また、以下の説明において、単に路側無線装置と記述した場合は、一般的な路車間通信システムにおいて利用される路側無線装置であることを示す。
そして、車両Cは、上り本線L1mには流入ランプL1inを走行して流入し、下り本線L2mには流入ランプL2inを走行して流入する(車両Ca)。また、車両Cは、上り本線L1mから流出ランプL1outを走行して一般道路Rへ流出し、下り本線L2mから流出ランプL2outを走行して一般道路Rへ流出する(Cb)。
本実施形態では、流出ランプL1out、L2outを逆走し、本線L1m、L2mを逆走する可能性が極めて高い車両(例えば、車両Cc)に対して、逆走していることを警告し、有料道路本線L1m、L2mにおいて逆走事故が発生するのを防止する。
また、本線L1m,L2mを走行中の車両Cに対して、本線L1m、L2mを逆走する可能性が極めて高い車両があることを通知し、予め追い越し車線に移動して走行するなどして対処させることで、逆走事故の発生を回避する。
図2に示すように、第1路側無線装置1は、道路脇や道路上方に設置されたアンテナ1aから到達距離が限定されたDSRC電波を放射し、路側無線装置近傍に路側エリアZ1を形成する。ここで、DSRCとは、5.8GHz帯の電波を使った狭域通信方式であり、その通信範囲は、例えば、数メートルから数十メートルとされる。
本実施形態においては、第1路側無線装置1、第2路側無線装置2a、2b、第3路側無線装置3は、同等の路側エリアZ1、Z2a、Z2b、Z3(図1参照)を形成することとなる。そして、それぞれの路側エリア内にある車両Cに搭載された車載器5とだけ、双方向無線通信(路車間通信)が可能となる。
図3に示すように、第1路側無線装置1は、路側エリアZ1を通過する車両Cと情報の送受信を行うアンテナ1a、1b、車両の通過を制御する開閉バーを備えた発進制御装置1c、発進制御装置1c等に異常が生じたときに係員に連絡するインターホン1d、通過車両の車種や通行料金等を表示する路側表示器1e、ETCゲートを通過する車両を検知する車両検知器1f、を備えて構成される。
また、ETC出口ゲートでは、このETC出口ゲートを通過して一般道路に進入する車両に搭載された車載器5と狭域通信することにより、当該車両から入口ゲート通過情報を取得する。そして、この入口ゲート通過情報に基づいて有料道路の走行区間に対応する通行料金を算出し、当該車両Cに対して決済情報を送信する。
さらに、本実施形態では、ETC出口ゲート(第2路側無線装置2a)において、通過車両Cから有効な入口ゲート通過情報を取得できなかったときに、逆走車両であると判断して警告を行う。
図4に示すように、路車間通信システム100は、第1路側無線装置(ETC入口ゲート)1、第2路側無線装置(ETC出口ゲート)2、第3路側無線装置3、を備えて構成され、それぞれが車両Cに搭載されている車載器5とDSRCによる路車間通信を行う。
制御部11は、CPU111、ROM112、RAM113を備える。CPU111は、RAM113を作業領域として、ROM112に記憶された制御プラグラムを実行することにより、各種演算を行うほか、DSRC通信部12を制御する。
例えば、DSRC通信部12は、ETC入口ゲートを通過する車両Cを特定するために、車載器5に対して車両を識別するための車両識別情報を要求するDSRC電波を常時送信する。
そして、車両CがETC入口ゲートを通過すると、この要求に対して、車両Cに搭載されている車載器5から車両識別情報が送信されるので、この情報を受信する。また、車両Cから車両識別情報を受信すると、当該車両Cに対して、有料道路に進入した(入口ゲートを通過した)ことを示す入口ゲート通過情報を付与する。この入口ゲート通過情報は、車載器5において記憶され、例えば、ETC出口ゲートにおいて通行料金を算出する際に利用される。
制御部21は、CPU211、ROM212、RAM213を備える。CPU211は、RAM213を作業領域として、ROM212に記憶された制御プラグラムを実行することにより、各種演算を行うほか、DSRC通信部22、ネットワーク通信部23を制御する。
第2路側無線装置2の制御部21に管理装置としての機能を持たせることにより、情報通信に要する時間を短縮し、第2路側無線装置2の路側エリアZ2を逆走車両が通過したときに、瞬時に逆走警告情報を提供することができるようにしている。
例えば、DSRC通信部12は、ETC出口ゲートを通過する車両Cを特定するために、車載器5に対して、車両を識別するための車両識別情報を要求するDSRC電波を常時送信する。同時に、有料道路の通行料金を算出するために入口ゲート通過情報を要求するDSRC電波を送信する。
そして、車両CがETC出口ゲートを通過すると、この要求に対して、車両Cに搭載されている車載器5から車両識別情報が送信されるので、この情報を受信する。また、正常に有料道路から進出してきた車両Cからは入口ゲート通過情報が送信されるので、この情報を受信する。さらに、ETC出口ゲートを順行する通過車両に対して、入口ゲート通過情報に基づく決済情報を送信したり、ETCゲートを逆走する通過車両に対して、逆走警告情報を送信したりする。
制御部31は、CPU311、ROM312、RAM313を備える。CPU311は、RAM313を作業領域として、ROM312に記憶された制御プラグラムを実行することにより、各種演算を行うほか、DSRC通信部32及びネットワーク通信部33を制御する。
DSRC通信部32は、制御部31による制御下において、DSRCにより車両Cに搭載されている車載器5と情報の送受信を行う。例えば、DSRC通信部32は、CPU311によって実行される情報提供処理において、路側エリアZ3を通過する車両Cに対して所定の情報を送信する。
車載器5は、ITS(Intelligent Transport System:高度道路交通システム)に適用可能なITS車載器であり、例えば、従来の路車間通信システムにおいて、センター装置から路側無線装置を介して送信されたコンテンツ情報等を受信し、保存又は出力するものである。
例えば、第1路側無線装置1、第2路側無線装置2、又は第3路側無線装置3とDSRCによる通信を行う際には、DSRC部52の通信動作を制御する。なお、DSRC部52の制御にあたっては、DSRC部52のDSRC制御部521との協働により制御を行うこととなる。
また、第2路側無線装置2から常時発信されている、入口ゲート通過情報を要求するDSRC電波をDSRC部52において受信したときに、DSRC部52を制御して、この情報を第2路側無線装置2に送信させる。
また、第2路側無線装置2又は第3路側無線装置3から送信された提供情報をDSRC部52において受信したときに、カーナビ部54を制御してこの提供情報を出力させたり、DSRC部52(ETC処理部524)を制御して決済情報に基づく課金を行わせたりする。
例えば、ETCによる決済を行う際には、DSRC通信部522の通信動作を制御して第2路側無線装置2と決済情報の送受信を行わせる。また、ETC処理部524により決済情報をクレジットカード等のICに書き込む処理を行わせる。
車載器IDは、製造時に個々の車載器に付番される車載器情報である。車両情報は、車載器5を搭載する車両Cのナンバープレート情報や、車種情報(大型車両、中型車両、小型車両、身障者運転車両など)を含み、車両Cに車載器5を搭載する際に登録される(セットアップ)。
第1路側無線装置1及び第2路側無線装置2は、車両識別情報として車載器ID又はナンバープレート情報を取得するので、第1路側無線装置1又は第2路側無線装置2の路側エリアZ1、Z2を通過する車両Cを正確に特定することができる。
ICカードインターフェース525は、クレジットカード等のスロットを備え、このスロットに挿入されたクレジットカード等のICとETC処理部524の間で情報のやりとりを仲介する。
GPSは、GPS衛星から送信されるGPS信号を受信し、これに基づいて自車位置(緯度、経度)を算出する。
ジャイロセンサは、移動方向の変化量を示す車の加速度(単位時間当たりの水平方向への回転速度)を検出する(角速度センサ)とともに、地磁気の検出を行い(方位センサ)、自車の絶対方位を検出する。
現在地検出部542は、GPSとジャイロセンサから取得した情報に基づいて車両の現在地を示す現在地情報(緯度、経度等の情報)や走行速度の情報を生成し、カーナビ制御部541に伝送する。
操作部544は、車載器本体に設けられるハードキー、出力部545のディスプレイに一体的に設けられたタッチパネル(ソフトキー)、又はリモコンで構成される。操作部544は、ユーザによってキー操作がなされたときに、この操作に対応する操作信号を生成し、制御部31に出力する。
そして、通過車両から車両識別情報を取得したと判定した場合(順行/逆走車両有り)はステップS102に移行し、取得していないと判定した場合(通過車両無し)は処理を終了する。
そして、入口ゲート通過情報を取得したと判定した場合はステップS103に移行し、入口ゲート通過情報を取得していないと判定した場合はステップS105に移行する。
例えば、図1に示すように、車両Ccが流出ランプL1outを逆走して第2路側無線装置(ETC出口ゲート)2aを通過すると、当該車両Ccの車載器5は入口ゲート通過情報を有していないので、逆走警告情報が送信される。一方、当該車両Ccの車載器5では、カーナビ部54において、逆走警告情報に基づく出力が行われることとなる。
そして、管理装置としての機能を有する第2路側無線装置2は、入口ゲート通過情報が取得されたか否かを判定し、この入口ゲート通過情報が取得されない場合には、当該車両に逆走していることを警告する逆走警告情報を提供する。
このように、ETCで使用されていた技術を利用して本発明を実現することができるので、従来の道路システムを有効に活用できる。
ステップS203では、予め設定されている所定時間が経過したか判定し、所定時間が経過したときに処理を終了する。例えば、所定時間として、逆走車両が流出ランプを走行して第3路側無線装置3を通過するのに要する時間を予測して設定する。
つまり、逆走車両が本線に流入してしまうまでは、本線を走行している車両に対して、逆走車両注意情報の送信を継続して行うようにしている。
そして、管理装置としての機能を有する第3路側無線装置3は、第2路側無線装置2から逆走車両情報を受信したときに、本線を走行する車両Cに対して、逆走車両があることを注意する逆走車両注意情報を提供する。
例えば、第2路側無線装置2において、逆走車両の車両識別情報を記憶しておき、当該逆走車両の車両識別情報が再度取得されたときに、逆走車両が引き返したものとして判断する。これにより、有料道路本線を走行中の車両Cに対して逆走車両の誤報知がなされるのを防止できるので、無闇に運転者に危険を感じさせることはなくなる。
Claims (6)
- 有料道路の流入ランプに設けられ、通信可能範囲を通過する車両に対して、当該車両が有料道路に進入したことを示す入口ゲート通過情報を付与する第1路側無線装置と、
有料道路の流出ランプに設けられ、通信可能範囲を通過する車両から前記第1路側無線装置によって付与された入口ゲート通過情報を取得する第2路側無線装置と、
前記第2路側無線装置と通信可能な管理装置と、を備え、
前記管理装置は、前記第2路側無線装置によって通過車両から入口ゲート通過情報が取得されたか否かを判定し、この入口ゲート通過情報が取得されない場合には、前記第2路側無線装置を介して当該車両に逆走していることを警告する逆走警告情報を提供することを特徴とする路車間通信システム。 - 前記第1路側無線装置は、ETC入口ゲートに設けられることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の路車間通信システム。
- 前記第2路側無線装置は、ETC出口ゲートに設けられ、
前記管理装置は、前記第2路側無線装置によって通過車両から入口ゲート通過情報が取得された場合には、前記入口ゲート通過情報に基づいて、有料道路の走行区間に対応する通行料金を算出し、前記第2路側無線装置を介して当該車両に決済情報を提供することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の路車間通信システム。 - 有料道路本線の前記流出ランプへの分岐点より上流側に設けられ、車両に搭載された車載機器と狭域通信する第3路側無線装置を備え、
前記管理装置は、前記第3路側無線装置と通信可能に構成され、前記第2路側無線装置によって通過車両から入口ゲート通過情報が取得されない場合には、前記第3路側無線装置を介して、有料道路本線を走行している車両に、逆走車両があることを報知する逆走車両注意情報を提供することを特徴とする請求項1又は2のいずれか一項に記載の路車間通信システム。 - 前記第2路側無線装置は、通信可能範囲を通過する車両から車両識別情報を取得し、
前記管理装置は、前記第2路側無線装置によって通過車両から入口ゲート通過情報が取得されない場合には、当該車両の車両識別情報を記憶しておき、前記第2路側無線装置によって当該車両の車両識別情報が再度取得されたときに前記逆走車両注意情報の提供を停止することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の路車間通信システム。 - 前記入口ゲート通過情報は、車両に搭載された車載器に記憶されることを特徴とする請求項1又は2のいずれか一項に記載の路車間通信システム。
